Incentivised Posting / Shill / Re: $BR uptrend makes a new high
« on: March 22, 2025, 09:35:30 PM »
OP can you provide exact details about the token so that I can do my research about it? An coinmarketcap link would be good.

$BR is the token for Bedrock, and the project is basically one of those liquid retaking protocols.

The first time I saw it, what stood out was the fact that it supported multiple assets, so think BTC, ETH etc and multiple chains.

I personally think why it's getting more exposure now is because of the token, a good  number of those people that bought when it first listed on Bitget are hyped about the price movements.

I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed that we've been getting a lot more projects centered around liquid staking and restaking.

I understand that BTC itself does not generate yield, and traditional staking can be very limiting as regards the amount of rewards you get, so I see why there'd be demand for these kinds of projects.

What I'm interested in knowing is if these project's tokens make good investments, they seem to get a lot of visibility, take projects like LIDO, AAVE, Babylon, even projects that have not listed like PumpBTC are already getting exposure.

So now that everybody is looking for the next gem, you think these kinds of projects can be considered, especially the new ones?

Incentivised Posting / Shill / Are there any upside to volatitlity?
« on: March 18, 2025, 01:30:10 PM »
We are all familiar with how crazy the market is, volatility is not a new topic, a recent example would be the 40% surge in price for Bubblemaps.

Personally, the only reason I can think of for this is the hints of Binance listing, otherwise the rapid increase doesn't make sense, because what else would motivate buyers?

I understand that the project's ability to spot potential market manipulation, is a good use case, but if we're being honest, when was the last time a project did really well based on utility alone?

In all of this, I can only think of the euphoria of people that got in very early, take the people that bought when it first listed on Bitget for example, they'd just wake up to see that the token  is already up 40%, Personally, that's the kind of position I'd like to be in.

Maybe the volatility isn't entirely bad afterall, JK.

The way the year is looking, it's very possible that this might be a big year for DeFI and even DeFI related projects.

I say this because normally, one of the big issues we had was that DeFi platforms operate in isolation, and this limits liquidity to single chains or even specific exchanges.

But now we have projects like ZRO, RUNE, SYN or even ELX that allow liquidity to be easily integrated across multiple order book DEXs.

Only issue now is, no matter how well a project presents itself, there's no point if users don't engage with it, I've seen a few CEX list it, I've also seen launchpools from Bitget & Other announcements from by bybit attempting to incentivise people for engaging with these projects as a way of support, but would this actually work or does it solely come down to use cases?

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What can we expect from BTC?

It is always difficult to answer this question. Bitcoin is more difficult to predict in this cycle. There are too many factors that influence the price of Bitcoin. And there are too many predictions for the Bitcoin price. Some people said that we are in the bearish season already, but other said we are still in the bullrun season. We even don't know that Bitcoin has reached its peak price or not.  :-\
We have very similar concerns lol.

What kind of expectations do we actually have for Bitcoin?
Isn't it important that it is profitable? The problem is what the process will be like, well, we just follow the flow. Because after all, Bitcoin is decentralized, it cannot be fully controlled. Market manipulation is also possible, but not 100% manipulative.

Well, the price of BTC is always volatile, so it cannot or is difficult to predict accurately. So yeah, whatever it is, whether it is currently dropping or rising, just enjoy the process. The key is to be patient with whatever our efforts are to gain profit from Bitcoin, whether through trading, investment, staking, and others.
I agree, but it's incredibly difficult to enjoy the process when I lose money sometimes to the market. But I do see what you mean.

Because we've been here a couple of time, and it would be cool if we can put a timeline on this, if it's just a temporary move, and even if it isn't, how long can we expect the bullish trend to last.
Market isn't bullish yet, it's very bearish, and I believe this bearish market will continue for some days and then there's chance that we may have bullish market once again.
I get, but isn't days to short for a bearish cycle?

I know I have seen people saying that the trend is still true
Bitcoin is still following the same path
But now I think we were not accounting for Trump and Elon blatant manipulation.
Bullish or bearish doesn't mean much
Just tryna stay calm and continue holding
If I have spare Fiat I add more
I'm not gonna be fixated on if we bullish or bearish.
With Bitcoin, HODLing has always been my preferred option. But I'd still like to have an idea of what season we're in.

As expected, because of the recent BTC price surge other altcoin are on the move upward, and I'm sure a lot of people saw this coming, but I think the real question now is how long this trend would last.

The prices of cryptocurrencies, which bitcoin is one of; can not be accurately predicted most for the time, so it's ordinarily hard to tell if we are still in the bull run (before we even move on to how long the bull run will last) or whether we have entered the bear season.

So far,  I think we have three different market seasons and they are..
1. Bull season.
2. Sideways season.
3. Bear season.

And currently, I think we are In a sideways season, the price of bitcoin goes up and goes down, it's become hard to tell if we are in the bull or bear season, so, I think we are in a sideways season 😊
Yeah I see what you mean, and it would really help if we can know excatly what season we'd get after the "side way season" but then again not knowing if we'd be in a bull or bear is part of the thrill heh?

Trump is very vocal about Bitcoin and other coins and that seems to be pushing prices up right now and for me that is also what we are going to observe. Those people who are always looking for the latest news events that could be a factor of a good surge they are the first to get an early entry that is why whether it is temporary or not they will always make profits.
So the idea is to constantly follow the news and act very quickly with the information you get?

Unfortunately, nobody can tell us with some good degree of certainly on this concern all because we know for sure that Bitcoin and the rest of the crypto gang can be so volatile. All we can do is speculate, hope, wish and even pray that prices will continue to go up and even achieve a new ATH within the month of March. the market can easily crash anytime and then on the other hand it can skyrocket for even flimsy reasons. In other words, this is is really an every exciting and sometime scary roller-coaster of a ride so just buckle up and enjoy the ride while it lasts. Now, if you want my opinion, I want Bitcoin to go past $125K this month, crash to $50K by April to give it some room to breathe and then ride up, up and away to $150K by May. And I am in front of the wishing well with some coins am ready to throw...

Crypto is unpredictable and no one can say for sure where bitcoin will go next. It could skyrocket or crash overnight. It is just how market works. Hoping for a specific price is fine but it is smarter to stay informed and have a plan. Ride the waves but don't rely on luck alone.
In your opinion what would you say is the best plan for approaching and engaging with crypto?

No one can give the right prediction over a market performance until we see how it all goes with the general cryptocurrency market trends, this may be as a result of the season we are or for the time being a particular coin was launched and investors are coming over it, most of these coins follows after bitcoin market performance because they realized it's the lead to all crypto market, we should expect more pump from bitcoin sooner.

So you're bullish. I'd like to know if this is a short term sentiment or if it's a long term view?

I see what you mean, and for what you mentioned about the prices, would it not be scary if BTC actually respects all of the prices in that in those very short time?

I'm sorry, I'm not very good with sarcasm so I'm not able to tell if this is one.

A president who is directly involved in cryptocurrency holds a lot of mystery... even though it is very much related to his government's future policies... if the steps taken are strategic steps, it will certainly have a good impact on the progress of cryptocurrency, but if the steps taken are only short-term steps, such as the release of memecoins or actions to support certain hypes, it certainly makes it worse... no resolution grows from it...

A president should make a policy that has a greater impact in the long term, if the steps he takes are serious and considered important, he should not do things just to create short-term FOMO.
I'm not even sure someone with that much power should be allowed to influence things like crypto.
