Bitcoin Forum / Re: Best time to purchase BTC
« on: March 18, 2025, 04:52:09 PM »
I think it's perfectly fine for someone to give advice on buying Bitcoin at any price. However, it's better to save up money first and wait for the right time to buy. For example, right now, Bitcoin has started to show a price decline, and it's a good opportunity to make periodic purchases. Avoid buying all at once because there is still potential for Bitcoin's price to drop further.
The right time to buy bitcoin is when you have the discretionary income, aside that waiting for the right time when the discretionary income is there is not advisable because the investor stands the chance of losing many markets opportunities while waiting for the right time. With the DCA strategy you don't have to wait until you are able to save up to $1m  before you start accumulating bitcoin, with as low as $10 you can start accumulating bitcoin using the dca strategies continuous, persistently and aggressively

If investors want higher returns, they should pay attention to ETH, XRP, SOL, and BNB. Altcoins often yield higher profi ts if they are well pumped and manipulated. That's why many investors are taking the opportunity to accumulate more altcoins instead of just focusing on BTC at this time.
It is only traders and not investors that prioritise short term investment that will have this kind of mindset because they are into bitcoin investment to make quick profit. They fail to understand that bitcoin is best appreciated when viewed in terms of long term and as such  end up making impulsive decisions which usually resulted to lost of income.Anyone who invested in bitcoin with the mindset of getting a higher return within a short term to me the person is not an investor but a trader. Before any investor will think of diversifying into any others asset or the crypto you mention they should have reasonable amount of bitcoin in their portfolio, if not i would advise they stick to bitcoin accumulation and not allowed themselves to be distracted and if they can't they shouldn't invest more than 10 % of there discretionary income into those cryptos.

Sadly looking bitcoin price recently, last summit crypto not impact yet help bitcoin and altcoin reach higher price and seems Donald Trump can't contribute more for bitcoin back above $100k. Now bitcoin price still stable and down without any possibility how long take moment for returning back above $100k.
Have been one month bitcoin keep going down and as altcoin holder just hope any magician with bitcoin will break out to give impact for altcoin recovery again, if bitcoin keep down less hope to see altcoin and recovery from losses after buying altcoin when bitcoin still higher price.
Bitcoin is a leading cryptocurrency and non can be compared to it , volatility is among the characteristics of cryptocurrency which I believe is no longer news to long term investors,so it is only  traders and not investors that will panic over price corrections . bitcoin has proven to be a potential cryptocurrency over the years so I don't see any reason why anyone should panic over price corrections rather the main concern of all investors should be to be able to reach there investment goals.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin Too Expensive For Me?
« on: March 10, 2025, 09:04:09 PM »
I suggest that you should do more research before entering the world of crypto, I mean, its good to know the risks and what coins you will invest in. What i can say is invest only what you can afford to lose. You don't have to rush things, because in crypto consistency is the key to success. Good luck to your journey!  ;)
Due to the volatile nature of cryptocurrency it is not risk free in fact there is tendency of one losing all his money in cryptocurrency investment, that is why investors ought to be very careful when investing in any crypto currency .The money that should be invested in cryptocurrency is our discretionary income and not money that we are to use for our daily expenses,in fact after sorting out our expenses the money that is left with us is what we should invest in cryptocurrency.Bitcoin has proven to be a potential coin and a good store of value and i would always recommend it to those that are new into crypto investments.

that's how long-term traders, or people call them long-term holders, invest. they will buy when the price of bitcoin goes down and hold it until the price goes up and then sell it for a profit.
I do that because besides trading I am also a long-term holder.
Long term holders are not limited to buy only when the price go down, what you are describing is buying the dips.A long term holders can use DCA strategies to buy bitcoin at any price since the holder is buying at different prices this will give great hedge over bitcoin volatility.so longer term holders can buy bitcoin using any of the strategies and still make profit.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What’s the safest option to hold BTC ?
« on: March 09, 2025, 12:58:09 PM »
Following the recent situation surrounding some exchanges, it seems BTC is not safe to be held in CEXs wallet anymore.
It never did, and will never be. Anything that related in crypto holdings must be held on custodial wallet on safe environment especially if its yours anything than that will be considered as risky. You should only put your money on CEX for trading and be considered to deposit what you can afford to lose.
In a custodial wallet the user does not have full control over there coin ,so I think custodial wallet should be used for trading since the funds is not been stored for a long time.while non custodial wallet the user have full control over there private key's and this kind of wallet should be used for holding bitcoin since it is more safe to store bitcoin.

The level of corruption in Nigeria dey very high so if dey talk about holding leaders accountable for there actions e dey very hard because majority no even know there right.so if dey say they won protest u go see some citizen go dey support this politicians and at the end the protest no go get head.untill the citizens are united and how come to a decision that enough is enough thats the only way most of this nonsense will end.
