General Discussion / Any Crypto Creators Here? Need Some Opinions
« on: March 01, 2025, 03:36:05 PM »
Yo quick question for the content creators in here, do y’all actually make money from this stuff or is it mostly for fun? I keep seeing people post their crypto videos on TikTok, YouTube, and X, and it got me thinking… is there actual money in it, or is it just for engagement/clout?

The reason I ask, I came across this thing called CreatorX while scrolling through X. Looked like some program that pays people to make futures trading videos. Didn’t pay much attention at first, but now I’m kinda curious. Seems like they want reviews, tutorials or just personal takes on trading. Not sure how serious it is or if it’s just another one of those “make content for exposure” things.

Anyone heard of it? Or better yet, anyone actually making money from crypto content? I feel like there’s gotta be some real opportunities out there, but I have no clue which ones are actually worth it.

Let me know if you’ve got insights, I’m trying to figure out if I should even bother.

It's not that nobody cared now, maybe they stopped chasing and hyping because a lot of people were already burned. Money may be abundant to some but it's not unlimited and it doesn't flow to everyone. Kaito sounds familiar to me, I might have bought some of it months ago but have forgotten where I kept it ;D
That’s actually a fair take, after a few cycles of getting burned, people stop chasing every new trend. AI tokens had their wild run, and now it’s like only the ones with real staying power are still getting attention.

And yeah, money isn’t infinite, and retail can’t keep blindly throwing cash at every narrative. I just bought some of it tho ; let’s see how it goes since there’s no crazy hype campaign.

Also, if you really did buy $KAITO months ago and forgot about it… might be time to check those old wallets. Imagine waking up to a bag you didn’t even remember holding. 😂

Every narrative dies though, there was a time when NFTs are the thing and people spent thousands for it, they evolve to Web3 they say but still there is no hype. Projects only gets attention when there are big people behind it and not all AIs have people behind it, they are all just a token.

This is probably because of the news all over crypto, prices depends on how the news goes to the community. If news about the token doesn't ring, no one bats an eye.
You’re not wrong, crypto runs on narratives, and every cycle has its stars. NFTs had their moment, DeFi summer was a thing, and now AI tokens are feeling that same cycle effect. The difference, though, is some projects don’t completely vanish when the hype cools off they just transition from speculative plays to actual utility-driven adoption.

That’s why seeing $KAITO still trending on CMC without major hype or influencer shilling caught my eye. If a project is still pulling attention without constant news cycles pushing it, maybe it’s not just a token riding a wave, it could actually be building something people find useful.

But yeah, media controls a lot in this space. If a token isn’t being talked about, people assume it’s dead, even if the devs are grinding in silence. The real question is, do AI tokens need the hype to thrive, or are we finally at the stage where only the actual useful ones survive?

Not too long ago, you couldn’t scroll through Twitter without seeing AI tokens everywhere. $INJ was pumping, $TAO had people convinced it was the next big thing, and every random token that slapped “AI” in its name got insane volume. Tbh It felt like the AI narrative was unstoppable.

But now? Silence. No hype, no non-stop FOMO tweets, no crazy price action lol. It’s like the AI wave came and went and people moved on to the next shiny thing Or at least, that’s what I thought until I checked CMC’s most visited list today

Not going to lie but seeing that some AI tokens are still getting serious attention, without the hype train running full speed. $Kaito was one of them and it made me wonder: why are some of these projects still holding strong while others vanished?

Could it be AI in crypto isn’t about hype cycles? Question is, are people still paying attention, or has the AI meta already peaked? Yo! Y’all gotta fill me in ; nothings working for me Rn. I’ve been ineligible for too long
