Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: for fun or to earn money?
« on: April 20, 2025, 07:13:32 AM »
In my opinion, it is not right to consider gambling as a source of income. Because no one has ever become rich permanently by playing this game. If you play it for fun or time pass then it is okay. But I don't think it is for income at all. In fact, I also thought that it is very easy to earn money by playing gambling. But later when I saw the people around me who were losing more than winning, I realized that it can not be a source of income in any way. So in my opinion, it is better to play it for fun.

Gambling discussion / Re: How to control gambling addiction?
« on: April 20, 2025, 07:02:28 AM »
Actually, to be honest, people start gambling just for fun, but later it turns into an addiction. To get rid of this gambling addiction, we must spread awareness. We should spread the horror of this gambling among everyone in society. Because many people are becoming destitute by playing this gambling. And of course, we should teach them to take responsibility in the family from a young age. Because if someone has family responsibilities, then he will never waste money on such gambling. So we should actually warn everyone about the horror of this gambling.

Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling acceptable in your country?

I've some good friends from Bangladesh who gamble regularly. I don't if there's any legal issues they are going to face or not but so far they're doing it without any worries and they enjoy it fully. So, I guess in that country there's no hard and fast rule for gamblers.
Earlier it was not very strict but now it is becoming very strict. If the police see you gambling then you will definitely be arrested. Currently many big influencers of our country have been arrested for promoting this gambling advertisement. So it is okay to say that it is illegal in our country.

If you ask me, then i will choose 20,000 Bitcoins. If I get twenty thousand Bitcoins at once, then it is not a problem for me to earn 100 dollars a day. If I hold fifty percent here, then it will be gone even if I sit and play for the rest of my life. My children and even my grandchildren can sit and eat.

In fact, if Bitcoin accidentally drops to $500, the entire market will be shocked. Because many people will wake up in the morning and see that their accounts have a red light. In such a situation, people will stop trusting cryptocurrency. They will start considering it a scam and personally  I will feel very hesitant to invest in it in that situation. People need trust for the sake of modesty. If it drops to $500 people will lose trust.

Yeah from a Bangladeshi perspective gambling is totally illegal both online and offline. The law and religion both go against it so most people avoid it but still some people secretly playing. Its risky though because if caught there can be legal action also from a social point of view it is not accepted and seen as a bad habit

Yeah I agree City might not be as dominant as before but they still have the quality to win. If Foden and De Bruyne play well they can break any defense. Everton will fight hard but I think City will push for the win especially with the title race going on. It might not be easy but I still see City taking the three points and yeah De Bruyne is a legend hope he stays one more season

Gambling & Crypto Casinos / Re: Gambling is today's reality
« on: April 18, 2025, 11:24:52 AM »
Because they see that through this gambling game, money can be earned very quickly. They see their friends around them who are making a lot of money by gambling but they do not see how much money they are losing by gambling. So I think gambling should be controlled by oneself. Because by playing this gambling, people become addicted and lose more than they gain. And we should never see it as the main source of income.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Mine Bitcoin or Just hold it?
« on: April 18, 2025, 09:01:54 AM »
Actually, I think that holding is more necessary than mining at present. Because mining requires a lot of electricity and technology. On the other hand, there is no additional cost to hold. But if you already have a mining setup, then you can do mining. But I would not suggest doing new mining. Because mining is a lot like a business. Here you can make a profit and you can also lose. Holding is for the long term, you will must get a profit someday.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why are people so crazy about buying Bitcoin?
« on: April 18, 2025, 08:57:10 AM »
In fact, people who wait for something to become popular first then invest in it. Because if something is not popular, you will not trust it yourself or even invest in it. And in the case of Bitcoin, it is more acceptable. Investing in Bitcoin is currently very risky because its market is constantly going up and down. However, investing in it for a long time is profitable. So everyone should do their research and invest.

Lolz at first you must be shocked because it appeared to you as a surprised but a moment calmed and brainstorming the day would told you that it was an April fool notification. I also got the notification but I just over looked at it because I knew that it was an April fool notification to all users in the forum and the other forum also got his own.

This is what I got on that April fool day.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Crypto Adoption spreading so fast!

If you want to play risk free, I would recommend 60% BTC + ETH, 30% SUI and 10% DOGE if you want to play with new promising things. And of course, invest as much as you can afford to hold on to through the rollercoaster. Because it becomes very difficult to rely on one, so I think investing in all of them can be a little more stable.

introducing your son to crypto at a younger age like 10 or 12, isn't too early. The aim should not to rush into investing but rather to first grasp the ideas. Teaching him about what money is, how digital currencies operate, what blockchain implies, and even the notion of decentralization can be quite eye opening particularly when related to games or technologies that make it all seem like play.

This morning I woke up and saw this message from the altcointalks notifier that my account had been deleted. I was completely shocked to see this. Later I went into the browser and saw that the account was fine. Is this a bug or was I being tricked into April Fools?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Airdrop updates
« on: March 30, 2025, 09:27:01 PM »
To be honest I don't think currently without any personal community I mean those people who follow you, doing  airdrop is just wasting time.
Yes, I also noticed what you said. Currently, airdrops give more importance to the referral system. Those who have Telegram or YouTube channels are earning a good amount of money from mini airdrops on Telegram through the referral system. But those who do not have such a channel also have no income.

But you can try out the test net airdrops not only on the telegram.

And the testnet airdrop is new to me. It would be helpful to understand if you could give some ideas about this.
