So, today is one of the main events in crypto is holding today which is Token2049 that is holding in Dubai and unfortunately, I wasn’t opportuned to attend. Everyone knows this event is about meeting people in crypto and making meaningful connections but if you were able to attend, it would be nice if you can share some tips you gained from attending.

Beware of trading signals because scammers can still use that to scam you. Since they know that a lot of people want to get rich quick through trading. These scammers will claim that they are professional traders and that you should give them funds to trade for you or that they give trading signals. A lot of scam tricks that is out there and more will still pop up as time goes on.
Honestly, I still wonder why people still believe in those that charge fees for giving trading signals. I have this play out several times and those who pay are always on loss. But unfortunately, many people are not aware of this pattern of scammers.

Didn't you realize that airdrop participation has now grown huge? Maybe millions of people are familiar with airdrops so don't be surprised if airdrops aren't as big as they used to be.

Imagine a total allocation of 10% for airdrop and sharing it with millions of participants? What percentage will you get?

Even now people dare to spend money to do airdrop tasks.
I realized that’s why I said “more demand, less supply”. The users participating in airdrops are much compared to what the projects allocated for the airdrops. Funny enough most airdrops are now retroactive and this gives users high hopes but it is what it is.

4
As someone who participates in airdrops alot in the past, i might have to conlude airdrops are now becoming less valuable. Personally, before i participate in any project, i do make sure to have made thorough research before engaging because we all know the more valuable a project is the more likely for investors interested in it which equals more liquidity.

But now it seems projects seem to be getting less investors as they all reward users with little tokens after launching. Should i say there are more users in the space than the funding liquidity the projects have in the sense of more demand, less supply or is it the other way around, they don’t really have solid use cases that would attract enough investors.

I came to think about this because i realized Hyperlane didn’t meet up with users expectations as per rewards, i think its high time people reduced their hopes in airdrops to avoid disappointment or do you think i’m wrong ?

Anyone can give financial advice, but we dont know whos advice will useful. If we ask rich or successful people for an advice, they dont tell nothing new than follow your goal, work hard, constantly develop, invest, dont miss opportunities. Everything that we already know. From time to time I think that if they have chance to repeat their life, with advices they give, they wont be able to repeat success. Sometimes these advices seems to work with random probability.
Anyone can give financial advice  but not everyone advice can be taken, you know the crypto space is very sensitive so not everyone advice can be helpful. That’s why ”NFA” and “DYOR” is always used at the end of a financial statement. Because if the said financial advice was used and backfired, the person who made the statement would be held responsible but once NFA is stated, it’s up to those who want to take the advice.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: A must know before trading
« on: April 20, 2025, 09:04:10 AM »
Yes, we who are here must have an eye on the market because analyzing the market is also an investment strategy and in my opinion, the most important strategy is analyzing the market because if you cannot analyze the market well, your predictions will never be correct and no matter how confident you are in investing, you will still be exposed to risk and you will lose money there.

We should keep an eye on all the news because if we don't keep an eye on when the market is moving in which direction then it will be very difficult for us to invest. Always keep yourself updated and keep an eye on what is happening in the market and invest with a long term view and try to make a profit.
I’d say keeping a close watch on the news won’t be enough, one should also make sure to keep sharpening their knowledge and skills. You know some new traders still find it difficult to understand the fundamentals.

7
I believe in my abilities, it does not mean that what I analyze will continue to happen, but at least we must have confidence in ourselves.

However, we should not be excessive, we must have limits so that everything runs well. Because if we are overly confident, then that is not self-confidence in my opinion, it is more about us being emotional because there is something we want to get.
Yes I was going to saying the same things here. We have to also remind that confidence is good for us but over confidence is more dangerous even if we don't have any confidence in our self while we are doing trading.
It is true that given the confident people's also face losses may be some time they were in our confident? My saying was here is when you don't have any skill how to you get the confidence and even if you get any confidence on yourself while you are not know much about trading analysis then you are must over confident.
Well of course the growing self-confidence must be based on clear reasons and in this case we must base our self-confidence on knowledge and skills.

If we continue to learn tirelessly, then the knowledge will come and self-confidence becomes something natural. However, if we never do anything to increase our knowledge, while we feel confident, then that is wrong in my opinion.
Exactly why i take learning seriously. The more ones knowledge increases the confident the person would be. In trading, making mistakes is inevitable, I won’t say i’m fully confident in my trades yet because sometimes it literally takes the other way around.

What were your biggest mistakes when you started trading? Lets help each other grow, thank you.
I believed that the trading academy could teach me all that I needed to know concerning trading, and then I paid some amount of money, and at the end of the day, I ended up learning nothing but the basics and things that I knew before I even joined the academy. The big lesson learned is that if you must join a trading academy, do not join with high hopes for high expectations.
maybe you joined an academy that did not offer much in terms of expertise or knowledge? because i know some people who also paid to learn how to trade and they did end up becoming successful traders though i suppose not every program is the same and you really need to find something that is actually helpful

aside from that you should also take some initiative to learn even outside the academy because the academy can only teach you so much and it’s still up to you how to use that knowledge and expand that even more

      -      You know, I have an acquaintance who said he attended other sessions about trading several times, he even paid for a few sessions, but the things he taught were very basic, and he only tackled and hyped the attendees more on motivational topics.

But the one time we talked on messenger, I only answered a few of the questions he asked me, and when I answered him with a simple explanation, he said what I said made more sense than the seminar he attended about trading. I just told him that if he had a question and didn't understand, he could ask me and I would answer if I could explain. I said this not to brag, I just told him because if he was really interested, we would learn it really quickly, and the one at the academy was just a bonus.
I do commend you honestly because most trading academy are mainly established mainly because of the money they would charge. They don’t really create value and they all mostly charge outrageous fees. Because of that i sticked with learning myself when i started out trading, YouTube was my go to place for learning then and now because we all learn something new everyday.

Firstly, i don’t think this scenario can happen again, gone are the days when there was 80% BTC fallout but if this happens again, there’s definitely a catastrophic event happening.
However, it would be an opportunity to buy as much as possible because who doesn’t want to be a BTC whale ?

As we all know the cryptocurrency space is also known as an open space for prediction based on individual analysis. I was having a discussion with a friend about the possibility of ETH hitting above the $10k mark by 2030, he said it has a low chance of that. So i thought to check online to see and a Coinmarketcap article predicted it could reach between $12k-$22k.  Here; https://coinmarketcap.com/academy/article/vaneck-and-stonex-predict-dollar12000-dollar22000-ethereum-price-by-2030

What do you think ? Can Ethereum reach five figures in the next five years ?

After the whole telegram “gamefi” era died down. I actually decided to stop putting efforts into gamefi projects because literally most users were all invested then because of the gains which was merely made on the long run.

I totally switched to participating in testnet airdrops but while scrolling through X earlier i came across a post about Gomble games listing, what exactly brought up my question was i realized it has about 3.5 million users, I’m not surprised though as it was not telegram based and the gamefi sector is a huge one. I’d like to know what you think of the gamefi narrative currently.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you still believe in Presales?
« on: April 15, 2025, 07:40:56 PM »
I think there are still sensible and potential pre-sales if we are just being researching, that's why there are still others who are making a profit from pre-sales, though they will wait a while before it is listed but they are sure that their investments here will not be wasted.

But of course, you still need to be extra careful because I can't deny that most pre-sales are also scams by the developers who are doing this in the crypto space.
It would be a waste of time to research for any potential presale project in my opinion. It still better to hold on till the token list before deciding on the investing in the project. I noticed recent projects are performing well in the market, so it’s better to buy after listing.

General Discussion / Re: Part time job or Full-time job
« on: April 14, 2025, 10:35:53 AM »
In my opinion it depends on our financial condition if we work just for formality and to relieve boredom then I would prefer to work part time to save energy but if I am in need of money or have responsibilities such as home needs or have debts of course I prefer to work full time which will give us a bigger income, unfortunately I am not a rich person so of course I would choose to work full time to be able to meet my needs and save for the future.
The right decision because when your family has a large number of people, a lot of expenses are required and if you want to save any funds for the future you have to work full time. There are many rich people who earn a lot of money even by working part time because their business scope is large. In fact, it depends on the financial condition of the person whether he will be involved in full or short time work. If we are not on the rich list, we should work full time.
Working part time only works for people with less responsibilities, working full time is the only way to earn more money that will give room for savings and investments. It’s also better to have multiple side hustles that can make one earn passive income easily.

Airdrops doesn’t give rewards that much compared to the past few years but there are few that are still worth it mainly those in testnet phases. I know people who made substantial rewards from airdrops this year even though I didn’t participated. Many still participate in airdrops though basically as a side earnings.

General Discussion / Re: depression & recovery
« on: April 11, 2025, 07:56:41 PM »
I am a Muslim if I feel hopeless and depressed I will worship and tell my God and surrender and that is enough to calm myself down to be able to accept whatever problem I am currently experiencing, besides that seeing people who are experiencing more serious problems motivates me to be better and always instill in myself not to give up easily in this tough life because everyone is facing trials on their respective paths.
Peace unto you and everyone!!. I was literally just about to type this then i saw your comment. Honestly, praying helps a lot when someone is depressed. Speaking from experience, when i was going through severe depression, that was when i started reading books alot and it helped tbh. But it only helped me manage it not cure it, not until i started practicing worshiping like the muslim i was should because i do neglect prayers then.
It was that time of my life that shaped me into a good believer and sincerely i was cured. Now whenever, I feel down or sad and i pray about it, i feel calm and better to go through life.
