Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is TRUMP controlling BTC growth?
« on: April 16, 2025, 01:55:31 PM »
Yes, Donald Trump's economic policies will certainly affect the entire markets, stock, commodity, FX and crypto etc, but he cannot control the crypto market as individuals no matter his status.
Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency and it is not on any individual's personal control. What is currently happening on the markets are some the areas on the economy that Donald Trump has his powers to do what he thinks is right.

Broader market shakes => crypto market shakes too, eventually.

That's how it always was.

The market should rebounce eventually; we can't be having dip after dip all the time.
Surely what you're saying is what will happen in time when the market doesn't keep going down, but in time it will also increase. If there is no increase, then there will be many investors who will not want to invest there.
Your estimate is that it could happen like that, because it is being waited until Q4 of this year that there will be a movement to increase high.

I do hope that tariff wars won't return with their sentiment in the invesors' eyes - in that case, everything should be good in the long run.

Or if some exchange, big one, would be drained.. Would have a similar effect.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Who has the highest BTC holdings?
« on: April 16, 2025, 09:09:37 AM »
Not forgetting the creator of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto, who do you think has the highest BTC holdings presently?
One thing for sure about the creator is that he might hold above everyone there but he wouldn't temper his coin otherwise it could lead to trace him and I believe he isn't yet to reveal himself about where he is currently. Most of the above companies you mentioned is actually a very large companies that holds larger size of Bitcoin in their portfolio or as a reserved funds.

That would ruin the trust for BTC for sure. That's why it's so precious to see the persona of Satoshi unknown even today.

It is tricky for altcoins right now, i don't think there is going to be an altcoin season this year. The entire global market is still suffering from the effects of Trumps tarrif war, even BTC may not see a serious bull run this year again, so that is the reason why i am not hopeful about an altcoin season anytime soon.

Tariffs were put at stop for 90 days or so, we may see the market resurge during this year, but if not - we still need just to hodl and see results in our portfolios eventually. That's the way to go.

We shouldn't be that expectant of something big might happen or triggered the market, sometime Donald Trump works in an mysterious ways where you wouldn't expect him to talks about Bitcoin then he would talk, I am taking the day of his sworn in as a reference to how he may behave. We know there are more important issues to be discussed over there but mentioning Bitcoin could seems so unserious with what they are doing.

Trump does everything to profit in long term - he doesn't think about other things that may affect the market in short term because it will stabilize eventually, whereas his holdings and position overall as an enthuthiast - may rise when BTC hits a new ATH.

Out of all the tokens that you can add to your poll, why PI? Are you a supporter of it?
I mean I could just pick SOL, ETH, or even DOGE, but not PI. That token has no use case at all (for now based on what they're saying). The development of the token might took years just like when they launched their mainnet.

I voted for Others because I want to include OM in the list.  ;D ;D Kidding aside, I would also pick SOL as one, but at the same time, I choose others because I'm thinking that XRP could be the one that has the most potential this year just because of the recent partnerships that they're doing, and at the same time, I'm thinking that companies might apply for a Spot Ripple ETF in the future.

Of course, this is just my opinion, and don't take it seriously. :)
Not really a supporter of pi but at least what I like about them is that they didn't disappoint most of their loyal community of years, they listed well and I think their development will not take much time and I know people know about it and it's one of the coins that people are interested in so I want to see what can be said about it and thank you for the input it's appreciated 👍

Hm. I, on the other hand, saw some threads regarding the KYC process of their that didn't go through for many people out there -which, in turn, left them with nothing.

Still, thanks for your view on it too. From all the opinions, we can make a full picture on the matter ;)

Yes, each of us must always see which gaps can be exploited when the market is not doing well, or vice versa. We must have a strategy to be able to take advantage of the situation.

This will return to the analysis we do and also whether we are interested in holding altcoins in a situation like this. I personally always try to take advantage of it, yes, even though there are limitations that I still have.
Personally, i prefer selling when the bear market is approaching then buy back during the dip. If i’m to answer the question the OP asked i would say none because I don’t think holding any altcoin right now is a good idea with the exception of the already established ones like SOL and ETH. Predicting the future potential of a new altcoin is difficult, so it’s better not to take the risk.
Even at a loss?

I don't understand what you mean here, I can understand if it's still in a profitable state, but if it's a loss I can't understand.

Of course, in choosing a coin, we will definitely choose a coin that has great potential when the bull season arrives and we can choose it from the ranking in the market cap.

Shaky hands is the case.

Sure, if you are not in a loss, you may sell your bags in a zero or a bit of PNL, but surely, when the bear comes, you can hodl through and see bigger results by the end of the process, that's a better scenario for me.

Given the current situation, people will definitely continue to buy BTC where the price is still in a downward position, even though the increase is not that significant, but if we buy at a price of $80k or below, when there is a slight increase like yesterday, we can still take advantage.

Hodling till the new ATH is reached wouldn't be so hard, in fact, in my opinion.

And overall, even if we don't reach it during 2025 - who holds us back from waiting a bit more? BTC is - the - coin for time to do its thing and keep its value going up due to the reasons known to all of us.

Obviously, we know that crypto currency market is always depending on pump or dump. So we shouldn’t tell correctly for future position in cryptocurrency market. But if we observe cryptocurrency market carefully, then we can tell beside decision in cryptocurrency market. We know that crypto currency market is slightly down now. But when Donald Trump win in US election, we can see that bitcoin price reach $100k up in that's time. Donald Trump also president in this time, so i expect that today or tomorrow bitcoin price reach best position in cryptocurrency market. So i expect that this position maybe in this year.

Broader market affects the crypto one - that's why we can see instability in the world and trade world as well reach the crypto market eventually.

And we can't be talking about the new push for the Bull without the confidence built up overall to see it happen.

believe, don't believe there will be another increase in bitcoin, currently I think the market situation is difficult to predict, where the movement is very fast where the decline and increase are like a flash only for a moment, maybe the increase at the end of December yesterday has given satisfaction to its holders But it does not rule out the possibility that btc will rise again because the altcoin session has not occurred

BTC should follow up on what the broader situation already tells us, in my opinion - for now, many out there are still suspicious of what's coming next, and rightfully so - but once we are done with these events that shake the sentiment, we should be moving toward a new ATH in no time.
