If you want to EARN LTC, invest in a miner (not the answer you want to hear, but it's the only real truth). Obviously you can also buy or exchange for LTC in many places.

Of course you can store your LTC on Coinbase (or any of the reputable exchanges) but that IS NOT the best wallet to store LTC - speaking from a purely security-minded standpoint, I would recommend a hardware wallet such as the Ledger Nano S. I've been using it for 4 months now and haven't any issues. I'd be happy to answer any questions. I mine directly to my Ledger Wallet address.
