Altseason? Even I have given up hope when the bitcoin price did not get a pump past ATH... we know that halving has been going on for 11 months, and I think our rocket fuel will run out soon, and the BTC rocket is predicted to experience a decline.... until the mystery of the altseason has not been solved, I think the public will only be able to hope and hope at the altseason point

And usually, altseason can indeed appear when all people's hopes are gone...
Yeah, we're in a unique cycle with a lot of new history. Still, I believe altseason will happen, because just BTC can't keep investor FOMO going in this market, like one hand can't clap ^^

We still have 9 months of 2025 left for altseason to pop off anytime. Usually, altseason hits hard and fast with a bunch of tokens in the market going up all at once, when everything's lining up for crypto growth. I wouldn't be surprised if altseason explodes in the next few weeks, if BTC price bounces back to the $100K zone.
I like your opinion, which is optimistic that we will see altcoin season, because 2025 is not over yet and altcoin season can happen anytime this year.
We should still hold our potential coins to welcome altcoin season, because big profits await us if we are patient.

Indeed, the ability or skills of each person can be different. There are people who have nature skills/ability to be doctor, pilot, or trader. But there are also people who have no ability/skills to be those professions. However, if they have a big desire, they can learn or take some lessons to be those professions.

Sure, people who choose certain professions, they want to earn money for themselves and their family. It is surely a serious matter and we shouldn't be careless to choose the professions.
Yes we should be very careful while choosing our profession, we should not the most idiotic thing by leaving our job just because we made profit in our few trades and now we think we don't need a job and we can always make profit from trading. This will be the most idiotic thing a person would ever done.

We always say that we should choose our profession carefully because we might have to do it for our whole life so the same thing apply here, if we want to be professional traders we must have other source of income too we cannot rely on it alone.
I agree with you, we must have many considerations if we want to leave our real world jobs or businesses and prefer to focus on trading. because becoming a professional trader who always makes a profit is not easy. we must have another income so as not to disrupt our family's needs. because it is feared that if we experience losses in trading, we will not be able to meet our living needs.

Everything should indeed be adjusted to the abilities obtained and everything can be equally good. Just do what is good for our abilities. Although indeed, trying directly is a very wise thing to do with the assumption that as little as we can and one day it will be improved. But if there is no ability for that, you can do it in another way according to the abilities we have, it will definitely be just as good.
Of course, we must invest or trade with the amount of money that we afford to lose. It is the way to adjust our financial capability. We don't need to force our selves too much. We must do everything with a suitable portion, we don't do something that we have no capability. If we have no knowledge about it, we are better to stay away from it. However, we can improve our ability, this can make us to have many alternatives to do in the future.
I agree with your suggestion, we should invest with money that we can afford to lose because it makes us calmer and more focused in trading or investing. and do not take debt to invest in crypto, because we will be faced with double risk.
Investing in crypto is quite risky, especially with the loan money that we have to return every month, this is the risk of borrowing money.

Does that mean, in trading you don't need that luck??? It's very strange and it can't be accepted logically... because both trading and gambling, the luck factor is always a part of every decision... many people claim that they are good at trading, but when bad luck befalls them, they will feel small... yes just because luck is not on their side, they lose everything...

When you are trying to make money form something that is uncertainty, there is high chance of you been lucky in making something or losing money from it. There are times you don't do much in trading and you make money that is even significant than the day you don't do much and similarly, it goes for gambling, the day you least expect might be your day.

Though I wouldn't advice anyone with long term trading experience be aiming for luck. If you do your home work very well, set up your trade properly, you will make good amount of money and when luck decide to shine on you, there is high tendency of you making 3 times of that amount.
Luck exists, but it will not always be on our side. We cannot always rely on luck in trading. That is why knowledge in trading is needed.
We can choose to be a trader or a holder depending on our ability and comfort in investing.
If we only rely on luck without knowledge in trading, it is the same as gambling.

X is where you’ll find most of this testnet airdrops that are rewarding.
The airdrops not only those but almost any information about crypto is mostly available at X. The ones who made huge money from meme coins also got that much success because of the X platform. I haven't heard about those test net airdrops that give high value to the farmers, however it's good to know more about it.
I have not been active and participating in airdrop for a long time because I see airdrops now as worthless and just a waste of time. I focus more on trading, but for those who have a lot of time to participate in airdrops they can do it because there are many rewards that we can get in the crypto world, both from airdrops and bounty campaigns.

I don't think it has something to do with tariff the Trump administration is imposing to countries he think hurts America's interests. What was happening could be the normal thing after significant surge of prices from the last quarter of 2024 to January 2025 the hype might be over so maybe we have to brace for much deeper dip in the following months if the momentum will continue. For me this is just a normal flow of Bitcoin's price.
Tariff wars are always a topic of discussion and are considered the cause of the current decline in bitcoin prices.
but we should focus on our investment and trading because whatever the cause this year is a bullish season, so grow confidence in ourselves that the crypto market will recover and we will see bitcoin prices touch $ 100K again

It should be like that, we must be able to restrain ourselves from having a bad mentality which is the main problem in life in this era. We see many people who are actually very capable, but they are constrained by their mentality.

This is influenced by many factors, it can be from the environment, family and so on. We must be able to identify something that makes us have a bad mentality and we can immediately stay away from it.
As I said before in our life we must have a good and healthy mentality. because a bad mentality makes us pessimistic about being successful.
and I agree with you family, friends and the environment around us will help build our mentality.
so our mentality must be built well.

- Even though Dexe's platform is not perfect, it is really up to us to choose which one we will use as well as the Cex platforms. That is why as a user of exchangers we must be critical before we come to the point of entering funds into their platform.

Then as a user or trader we must accept to ourselves that the funds we will enter are ones we are ready to lose because of the risk that we may face in the future, that is really because we are entering the crypto trading business.
I'm not a fan of this whole idea that DEXs are safer and better than CEXs, because we've seen so many DEX protocols get hacked, and users took a bath in 2021-2022, it was a total hack-season. Hundreds of millions of investors are still using CEXs, they're not dummies, they have their reasons for sticking with CEXs for the long haul.

Self-custodying crypto sounds safe and all, but look at what PlanB did, he switched all his BTC to a spot ETF, because he felt it was safer than managing his own private keys. Regular investors will always choose convenience, and they'd rather hand over their assets to big institutions than hold their own private keys.
I think CEX and DEX have the same risk, in terms of security we should choose the best and most trusted CEX. I rarely play on DEX because I focus more on binance in making transactions and trading.
Everything will be safe if we can protect our wallet and not carelessly click on links that we don't know the truth.

Storing assets in a personal hardware wallet is the best option, but if you want to use an Exchange then choose the best ones like Bybit and Binance in my opinion, and indeed Bybit is fully responsible for the lost funds so this adds to the trust in Bybit.

I own some assets on Binance and Bybit exchanges and of course it is still safe, only for trading and the profits will also be sent to my hardware wallet, so it will be safer.
You are doing great if you send your profits to your hardware wallet because you plan to preserve them for longer period of time and wants to make more profit because if BTC really make it to $1 million which many big investors like Michael Saylor or BlackRock has predicted, then it will make people very rich.

I still trust Bybit but still my first choice is Binance and Coinbase, Bybit, Okx I found these exchanges reliablebut my rule is also same as yours that to hold for long term we must prefer non custodial wallets.
I agree with you non-custodial wallets are safer to store our crypto assets if we want to hold them for the long term, I do that too.
and for the short and medium term when I trade I trust binance more, because so far binance wallets are quite safe.
Maybe I haven't tried other exchange wallets because I focus more on trading on binance and local exchanges.

If you observe, the price resistance is increasing gradually. It was at $80k but currently, it's at $82k. That shows that the price of bitcoin will pump gradually but a lot of people want it in a rush. I believe that we will see a new ATH in bitcoin price this circle.

The big question is: who's going to pump up the price? Are we counting on institutional investors, if so, on which exactly? Do we believe there are hordes of retail investors just waiting for a good moment to buy in? It's possible, but an average person has a short attention span and tend to lose interest in things pretty quickly. I find it hard to believe that an average Joe who didn't get in during the biggest hypes (be it ETFs or strategic reserve) would be keen to enter now.
And we also have to consider that the credit card debt levels were the highest in history, meaning people simply don't have any spare money to put in crypto.

I guess the biggest hope would be in the supply shock. Apparently, the number of bitcoins available for sale is shrinking. So even if demand is weakening, the drop in supply could still lift the price up.
price increases occur when demand increases, but this depends on economic conditions. When there is a recession the economy will be sluggish and of course it will affect the crypto market.
those who increase prices are investors and those who manipulate prices are also investors.
And bad news will also affect the crypto market.

The process is real and it will happen in trading, starting from what we know, getting to know trading and learning it and so on, it takes time which is called a process.

In the process, we definitely need knowledge so that we can hone our skills so that we can learn from experience if we have gone directly into the market. A process like this must be enjoyed, because if not, we will quickly get bored and eventually give up.
Yes, it is a process that must be carried out well. Because it is through this process that our experience is honed and our mentality is well formed. And as a trader, mentality is one of the most important things so that we can stick to the analysis and planning that we make after making the analysis. And so that we don't always get carried away by FOMO and the like. And usually professional traders are those who have successfully gone through this process patiently and used it as a lesson for themselves in subsequent trading activities. And those who give up halfway will ultimately never become a professional trader.
Mental, you are right about this and I agree. People fail because their mentality is not good so they lead to failure. Even in life, mentality is something important.

For example, poor people have a rich mentality, so they keep trying until they achieve something they want, even if they never achieve it they will keep trying forever. Well, it's different with people who have a poor mentality, they won't want to try at all. Don't we now see people who are physically healthy who should be working but instead they choose to beggars?
mentality is very important, I agree with what you said if we have a good mentality then we can be more successful.
because a bad mentality will make us pessimistic, with a rich mentality we must be optimistic with the efforts and investments we make.
We can still try to achieve success so stay away from the beggar mentality

Trading is the pure focused process which is required lot's of patience and fund management while doing trading, Market always give up and down for trader to make money, But sometime trader got liquidated while they are using Margin trade.

TRADER can be self-employee but sometime bear market give you the shocked and can not give us profit as we expected.

TRADER can we call theme self employed.

Market is the trader's employer, so to speak. That's how I see it ;)
The market is open for everyone and to anyone who can make use of it perfectly, like we know lot of people have venture into the market and yet has not been able to accumulate or make any reasonable profits from the market due to fear and pressure of news that arises, most traders doesn't know how to follow the market and they trade towards news, if time not properly taken they could lose their money while follow the FUD.
You are right because the market gives us the opportunity to gain profit by trading or doing medium-term investing. and I have done that.
We must learn to be able to read opportunities and follow market trends, because our opportunity to gain profit by always focusing on monitoring the market.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Reasons For Bitcoin Falling
« on: March 22, 2025, 06:14:00 PM »
One of the major reason for this is Trump's tariff's. Understanding the effects of tariff on investment sentiment is simple. Tariff increase the price of goods, creating global tension and disrupting supply chains. Put together, all this jack up market volatility which is what we are seeing now.
Ever since Trump assumed office as the first crypto president, every pump in the price of Bitcoin has been attributed to him and his decisions, and so also is every dump in the market as well, and I cant help but ask, does this mean that the market can no longer do it's volatility thing like in the past when Trump was not yet in the picture?

Bitcoin and the crypto market has pumped hard, and also dumped hard in the past, which is something it still does today, if no one was blamed in the past for every dump, why do we attribute every dump to trump today? I think it's time we start looking beyond Trump, the market can dump for a lot of reasons that is completely outsides of Trump and his administration.
Trump as the US president who supports crypto and has many promises to make policies that can make crypto better than before, this is what makes people believe that when everything that happens in the crypto market is associated with Trump. Even though it is currently a bullish season and the market moves according to its role. The determining factor for price increases and decreases is demand and supply, so I started to think not to expect much from Trump.

This is where they do get new that are new to trading, most of the time those profit they show off might be the only thing they have earned in a while, if you should go through their trading history, the losses you will see wouldn't be something to talk about.
Hahaha that's a history that doesn't need to be told to look like a successful trader by always getting a win on every trade, even though behind it all there are many losses that happen.
Many influencers claim to be professional traders but they are not honest with the losses that have occurred, because a bad image will lower their followers.
You are right they only talk about winning when in trading we can't always win. That's how influencers work because they want to get followers.
We should not follow them and we must have our own analysis and strategy so that we have skills in trading.
Because trading requires learning and always practicing

Short-term investors are the ones to concentrate on when they should invest in Bitcoin. For those of us who are after long-term accumulation of Bitcoin, there's no perfect timing for Bitcoin investment because whatever price we bought Bitcoin at, in years to come, Bitcoin will skyrocket more than that price you thought it was expensive.

For the dip, Bitcoin can dip more or start to moon any time soon. Whichever one it does, it's an opportunity given to us to buy more Bitcoin or sell our Bitcoin at a high price
Exactly, short-term investors must really enjoy the market pattern that has changed drastically in recent days, especially those who have very large capital, they can get high gains in just a few times. and all of that is also in Bitcoin, so if something bad happens, if you don't set SL, then just leave it alone and let the Bitcoin price return to normal in a certain amount of time. But yes, everything will definitely have risks, and no investment with no risks, there must be risks, it just depends on how much we are able to manage the risk for ourselves according to the strategy we have
there is a risk, that's why we have to use the right risk management if we want to invest in crypto. As you said if we have a large capital we can do short-term trading because the volatility of the crypto market is quite high, but this takes time to focus.
I prefer to hold long term because the busyness of the real world makes me unable to focus on trading.
