Bitcoin Forum / Re: What’s the safest option to hold BTC ?
« on: March 28, 2025, 11:11:38 PM »
You are right, as this can happen as already happened with Kucoin as I remember when the SEC opened some lawsuit against them they delayed the withdrawals, and people were panicking over it, which was natural though but still it can shoot your BP very risky hehe.

Therefore we should save ourselves from the trouble and avoid holding coins on these exchanges and if we see some warnings, then we should move our funds ASAP.

Yeah, that's right even I have kept my finds on CEXs because I have to trade them hehe.
This is one of our concerns if we hold a lot of assets on an exchange, compared to a personal non-custodial wallet. Indeed, one option is when we start hearing bad news about the exchange, we can immediately move our assets as soon as possible. But unfortunately, sometimes it is too late and it becomes impossible to withdraw due to certain reasons. This is why some problems when FTX and other platforms occur and investors are no longer able to move their assets because the option to withdraw directly is disabled.
Storing large crypto assets in an exchange wallet is highly discouraged because when it is dangerous, it is better to store it in a custodian wallet, because it is safer. We are often late in saving because we may not hear the latest news, the busyness of the real world is very time consuming. so be careful in storing our crypto assets.
but so far I have also stored assets in binance and Kucoin which are still safe.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: to what extent should one learn about bitcoin
« on: March 28, 2025, 11:01:41 PM »
will you agree or do you think that an in depth understanding of the blockchain tech and market factors affect greatly how your investment will turn out to be?
Of course I believe in this opinion, because the deeper the knowledge we learn, of course it will be easier for us to determine the direction in which we will determine our investment. when to do the right execution, so that we can get greater profits.
Knowledge is very important in determining the direction of our investment, I agree with you. because with good knowledge and experience we can choose to be a trader or a holder. because if we do not have good trading knowledge, we can still choose to be a holder.

once you tried Bitcoin investment before, you may never really want to stay away from it even if your government suddenly bans it.

i will still be trading after all the exchange i have been trading in isn't cooperating with my government. maybe they will give away our data but not when the government is still hostile to the users.

but i may still be buying somewhere else to keep my activity private. so far my government isn't banning crypto.
That's really true, even if the government bans it later we still want a piece of BTC haha, I was making profit from BTC but I did not want to sell all of it so I kep some part and sold the other and still plan to not sell it ever haha. I just love that I have BTC.

They will give our data sooner or later, but we can prefer decentralized exchanges and proxies to avoid getting caught, overall this do increases the risk though.

Yeah we can ask a person (relative) living in a place where crypto is legal to buy coins from our end, but that can be more risker in my opinion.
Actually we can use CEX comfortably and do not need to have our data worries if we do not take action against the law. So far I use CEX is still safe.
But you are right if you choose decentralization so as not to get caught by your identity, each investor has their respective considerations in conducting transactions.

Well said.
Every investment have contain the risk as well we will also see the risks on the presale also but I think it is more difficult to identify a good and potential project for investing their pre-sale. Most of the time I saw that most of the project who have launch their pre-sale they made 30% to 60%+ down when they listed on the spot trade. And this makes me feeling that avoiding this kind risk will be better for my fund.
And I think it's better to use your own analysis skills to pick and choose from the top level coins on the spot and gain profit.
Yes, all investments in crypto = definitely contain risks., the only difference is how big the risk is. and for potential new projects, for example the newest meme tokens that have been launched, the risk is definitely much greater than top altcoins.

that's why, when buying it in pre-sale, it is indeed very speculative with high risks, at least, we can't be sure whether the coins can really survive, can reach minimum sales, can really be listed, and can increase in price in the market later, it is still very speculative. sometimes, the pump and dump function is also good, because at least the coins are made to pump first when listed, but yes, if the momentum is too late, then that's it, like there will be no more hope
Presale purchases are very high risk, we must do research, make analysis and be sure of the tokens we buy. If the project is successful we will get big profits, but the failure rate is also high. This is the reason why people prefer to invest in top coins because they have been proven.

The Cardano community reflects on how, in 2021, $ADA was once a top-three asset by market cap, sitting just behind $BTC and $ETH .

During that bull run, Cardano reached its all-time high of $3.10, a level it has yet to reclaim in the current cycle. Meanwhile, CZ Binance's investment in Mubarak has captured investors' attention, creating new market momentum.

Traders looking to capitalize on these opportunities can trade and deposit to increase earnings ,

What can you say about this? Let discuss
There is nothing interesting in my opinion, because I am not interested in the ADA token, so even if ADA increases significantly, I will not buy or trade with this token.
With the current price, only a third of the ATH formed in 2021 and has never reached to be able to pass the new ATH. I would also think the same as you that there is no chance for the ADA to be able to provide a surprise when the alterason occurs. But if there are those who believe this is usually a choice made and cannot prohibit you from holding ADA.
ADA also still has a good community, although it does not show as good a movement as the top coins, such as XRP and SOL. However, ADA is also an investment option and its fans still hold it.
I think there is nothing wrong with having ADA in our wallet, because anything can happen in the crypto market.

I do see it as a small change regarding the overall cycles - we currently have lots of small rollercoasters, and while we still may see the rally for BTC push through the 2025, but maybe, we won't see the liquidity pouring back in, which is very interesting.
It could be that what you are saying is happening, but it could also be that it is not happening, and it is a real cycle that is happening, and it is inevitable that this will happen. I think you are right that it will continue into the end of 2025 for bitcoin, and it will affect everything else, and we are just asked to anticipate what is going to happen so that we do not accept an outcome that is beyond our own control
[/quote]
In 2025 is the year awaited by many investors to be able to see the Bullish Season because this year it has been predicted that many people Bitcoin will reach ATH, the possibility of reaching $ 130K. Although currently Bitcoin looks struggle, but I still have the confidence in the price of Bitcoin will soon experience an increase in Psar Crypto, we just wait for what good news will come

Ethereum Forum / Re: Gas fees
« on: March 23, 2025, 03:17:12 PM »
...
But this is good enough to utilize dex on the ETH network for potential airdrops in the future.

It's not REALLY  :D cheap, but it's better than before
I'm making some txs on mainnet because some projects look at your history in mainnet to see if you're sybil or not

But I'm paying sub 1 USD at least
Not to much expensive spending or paying $1 for bridge or swap by using ethereum network, although still expensive than other network but ethereum gas fees have significant decreasing and for sending coins just take few cent only.
Little disappointed why right now gas fees of ethereum have significant dumping or most cheapest when the arbitrage moment almost over,
maybe last year we found many coins at dapp exchange have lower price but difference at cex exchange, we can earn much profitable if arbitrage but have problem by paying high gas fees transaction.
Expensive Fgee Gas is always a problem and material consideration for using the network. At present the ethereum gas fee has decreased and can be said to be cheap, but this is due to decreased traffic or due to improvement from the Ethereum network by its developers.
Currently there are many good networks so users can choose the preferred network

Rather than facing fear because of market conditions that sometimes make us panic, staying silent or ignoring the market for a certain period of time is the best way to avoid being affected by FOMO... we can indeed find mistakes when we have to make decisions forced to respond to market conditions, but it often makes us lose because we lose our minds while holding like missing the moment of the mistake... and that's better, isn't it?

Nothing beat this strategy but if you are doing it and you want to have peace of mind, don't do it with funds you might need anytime soon because you will be having two minds buying it and even if you comfortably buy it and price later fall further, you might begin to have doubts and the have a change of mind, probably to sell and cut your loss.

If you want to really enjoy crypto, don't bother yourself about the FUD, don't look at the negative things, just buy and make sure you are investing the amount you really think you can afford to lose so you don't have two minds later.
FUD will always be there, but if we already have the intention and confidence to invest in Crypto, we actually don't need to care about FUD, we choose the coins like Bitcoin, ETH, BNB, XRP and Solana. So we don't need to care about bad news about this coin, because the coins have been proven to rise again when they have decreased.

Cardano Forum / Re: ADA or BNB?
« on: March 23, 2025, 02:49:44 PM »
Every day I'm using  bep20 layer 2 chain this is more comfortable for transaction and dex swap it's transaction fees is low compared with other popular chains it has great future so BnB Liv long in the crypto market I'm holding BnB for long term investment also holding BnB based ai coins.
BNB is still very worth it, both used as an investment asset and using the BSC network for transaction purposes. So far, the blockchain that I use the most is this chain. Yes, and I also believe that the development of the price and market cap of BNB will still be able to grow rapidly again, after all, it will always compete with Solana, and I like that person because it makes both of them maintain and develop their performance. but when compared to ADA, hmm it's quite far, ADA's development is not as good as BNB or Solana. That's clear.
BNB is still potential and I also use BSC networks more often than other networks, because I feel more familiar and feel safe to use BSC networks.
 Although sometimes I use Solana.
When compared to there is still far, BSC and Solanan are better. But there is also still the potential to rise when the top bullish season occurs.

If we will hodl for 5+ years - we can do it now.

If a person wants to get the profit in a year or so - yeah, he shouldn't go in currently, maybe through a bigger dip down the line.
Even the result could be come in only one cycle of halving I mean the bull and bear cycle.
However, the longer one can continue his DCA scheme, the more profit and asset ownership he will be able to have.
Just as we deposit our fiat currencies in the bank as an asset, if we can continue DCA by treating Bitcoin as a real digital asset, then we will definitely be more profitable here than fiat currency savings.
here is an example 10$ DCA per weekly for 5years-
Choosing Bitcoin as the main coin and by buying gradually through the DCA method is the best way that can be done, because the day the price of Bitcoin is more expensive.
Especially if we start buying with the DCA method two or 3 years ago, of course our profits have been large.

Just with the current information you have for now. If you can decide which altcoin to hold base on the current information you know that by means of comparing altcoins you can decide which to heavily send to your private wallet.

The factors I consider and whether I will be profitable holding them even in the bear market. Somehow the POS tokens but then I'm also fighting myself whether to just hold USDT.
For some, holding USDT is what they do when the market is down. But for others, they are looking for altcoins that have the potential to increase in a faster time and with good growth.

I think we all have different thoughts on this, and for me personally I am analyzing several altcoins, one of which is Sol, I think it is quite promising.
It is natural for there to be different thoughts when everything is currently in the red. As you said, maybe some are switching to USDT, but not a few have the thought of looking for potential altcoins that can rise quickly at any time.
I am sure all the thoughts that are made are because of the experience that has been had so far and everything is equally good. Just adjust the situation to the circumstances at that time.
The market situation is constantly changing. That is why investors have to think deeply about investing. If someone invests in a bearish season, their thinking will not be the same as the person who invests in a bullish period. But those who have a good idea about the market and invest especially with a long-term plan will be protected from big losses. At this point, I think it is quite appropriate to invest in Ether and XRP as a long-term investment in altcoins.
What you said is true, market conditions are always changing and we have to adjust to market conditions when they are down or up.
I also agree with ethereum and XRP which are quite potential for long-term holding besides bitcoin as a priority coin, this is also a pretty good way to make a profit.

I went with option 4. I think eth is like a bond and will never jump up quickly in price but eventually reach 5k.

It is a stake it and forget it product.
No, ETH isn't a bond, it's a whole new asset in the crypto world. Bonds give you that tiny, fixed interest, while ETH? Man, that thing can skyrocket hundreds of percent in an uptrend.

Plus, bonds are kinda useless, right? But ETH, you can use it to pay transaction fees on the blockchain. I'm telling you, ETH is way more flexible than bonds, like, a million times more. It's also decentralized, so you don't have to trust anyone or any big shot organization.
Ethereum is more profitable than bonds and this is what makes many investors prefer ethereum. We can get higher profits if we buy during the bearish season and hold it until the bullish season.
so bitcoin, ethereum and other altcoins are potential assets that can provide benefits to investors,

Absolutely, Bitcoin gives one more confidence to invest in it because it has been there for years before these new generational coins and it has  been doing perfectly well in the market and as a matter of fact, testimonials from people who invested in Bitcoin years past speaks of great volume and that alone should be a strong point of conviction for new generational investors who want to invest in Crypto currencies.

It is true that people ignorantly embark on Crypto investment without prior knowledge and those who do this are newbies that has little or no knowledge of how the system works and sometimes they fall for scammers and as it is that it is their first experience, it gives them the wrong thought about crypto not knowing that they made the mistake for not conducting due diligence before investing.
A newbie must seek knowledge first before investing, they can be active in the forum by reading many threads and experiences shared in the forum, and trying to seek experience by making fundamental and technical analysis and starting to develop strategies and targets in investing.
because knowledge is needed before we invest to prevent losses or defeats.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can governments crack down on crypto?
« on: March 22, 2025, 07:23:23 PM »
The government already knows its weaknesses in controlling Bitcoin and how people relate to it, and instead of facing and accepting the obvious truth, some go wire to declare all manner of negative laws and pronouncements against Bitcoin and its adopters.

Instead of trying to create a policy and regulations that can help the government have some level of control on bitcoin services like centralized services such as exchanges, casinos and other payment gateways to generate revenue.

That's just FUDers, they will always be there.

And it's better to have them rather than real actions taken about BTC and crypto in general.
Actually this would really be that only the way on which government would really be able to have a good grasps with crypto space on which we do know that they cant really just that possible to literally be able to ban nor really that eradicated Bitcoin or crypto as a whole and thats why there's nothing they can do but to only impose some strict rules and laws into those businesses on which that being that attached or really that being connected with crypto transactions and this is where we do see up that they are really that strict when it comes to implementing rules because they cant just literally be able to crack down crypto. Instead on trying out to ban then they would really be rather be just that needing up to take up such step on utilizing for having more revenues.
Bitcoin and other cryptos are hard to limit and as we see now the government finally accepts and allows its citizens to invest in bitcoin and altcoins. Although bitcoin has not been legalized as a payment method, but by being allowed as an investment tool I think we have seen good developments from crypto. because in the future it will likely be accepted as a payment method soon.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Eth hold or Trade?
« on: March 22, 2025, 07:11:05 PM »

Xrp wins the dispute with the SEC, this is certainly a breath of fresh air for the progress and return of XRP as before. If XRP has increased lately, it means that the market is responding to this good news. For now, we can also choose XRP in our portfolio list.
XRP has been in trouble with the SEC for a long time and finally XRP has been able to get through it and now we see XRP showing good movement in the market.
I also still have XRP in my wallet, which I bought a year ago and I hope to sell it this year if it reaches my target.
