For the fact that Etheruem is going down is not proof that there will not be altcoins season, the issue with Ether down trends movements for a long time could attributed to few factors like, Demand, new blockchain preferences and market competition for more upgraded features that might be better than Etheruem networks.
As for the price, I think that ether token will experience good movements when the altcoins season commences.
Actually, ETH's journey is still long and still very potential to rise again. Although it is not as fast as the increase of several other top altcoins, investors' confidence in ETH remains high. That's why, so far, ETH is still very much willing to increase its accumulation. If we look at the price change of Ethereum recently, it has been growing quite well. It almost reaches $2000 again, $2000 is probably the key of its possible high increase. If it succeeds reaching $2000, I think it may reach $3000 and may increase a new ATH again.
I read many comments saying that the price of Ethereum will go up again, I agree with them. But in my opinion, Ethereum will have a hard time reaching ATH in this cycle, just an analysis because I read the price movement of Ethereum for the past two years. It seems that Solana, XRP and BNB have good movements in the market while Ethereum has a hard time doing so

Binance Smart Chain + Ecosystem / Re: Investment of BNB
« on: April 30, 2025, 08:40:59 PM »
I think I have to agree with what you said because Binance's influence is very large on BNB, so investors' trust in BNB will always be maintained well and never let go of the grip that has been done so far.
It is clear that Binance will always give the best for BNB because Binance's reputation is there. If BNB falls, then the one who gets a bad reputation is Binance itself.
It is true that BNB and Binance are very closely linked, but behind this is something people often do not take into account. This is when one company dominates various sectors of the ecosystem which may lead to the limited space for manoeuvre. Thanks to being associated with Binance, BNB benefits from all of these aspects but also, if something goes wrong on one side, the matter will quickly affect the other side. Hence, it is high time that even if big names like BNB are created, it should also offer proper utility and worth in the market. If it is desired to have this system insulated from such shocks in the future, then the dependency has to come hand in hand with innovation that will sustain it.
BNB is not just linked with Binance exchange alone, BNB is the native token of the Binance Smart chain network plus the exchange. You see, the potential of the BNB token cannot be overemphasized or underemphasized, it is one of the best project, and an open opportunity for Investors any day.
Remember, Binance is the largest exchange in the world based on 24/hour trading volumes, a proven facts that they also have the largest community of users globally. BNB is always a big attraction to many investors both old and new in my opinion.
The reality is that it is indeed not difficult to be separated between Binance and BNB, because they are one entity that is always attached side by side.
You are right that BNB is the one that has great potential at this time and can never be separated from so many investors who always hold and trade because it always gives good results for its holders.
With Binance continuing to support BNB, it is certain that many old or new investors will continue to trade with BNB, because it is certain that it will be able to generate profits.
BNB is a coin that is still in great demand by investors, it is true that binance as the largest exchange always supports BNB. In addition, the BSC network is still widely used by users as transactions and several projects still use this network. Although solana as a new network is increasingly popular, BSC still survives.

It seems like what you said because of the growth of meme coin projects that use the SOL and TON networks. The network is currently widely used.
But that won't last long because it seems that many are starting to stop following the meme coin project because it always has a negative impact.
But for the BSC network, it will always be able to accommodate all those who use it and will provide the best, so that many still use the BSC network until now.
The BSC network still survives today, initially it was also widely used by meme coins in the past. However, over time the solana network has become the favorite meme coin today.
Meme coins will not last long, because that's how meme coins are, only relying on hype. although there are meme coins that still survive like DOGE.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: will bitcoin ever not be volatile?
« on: April 30, 2025, 07:50:29 PM »
The question posed by the OP have been ringing in the mind of many Bitcoiners since the recent widespread adoption by different institutions in the world. Greater global adoption of Bitcoin off course is one of the factors that could reduce the volatility of Bitcoin but it'll surely not make it disappear.

As Bitcoin continue to mature, volatility is expected to decline but it is very likely retain some due to some of it's distinctive properties as well as it's role as a decentralized alternative to conventional fiat
Bitcoin volatility will always exist, because that is the character of the crypto market. Even if many people have adopted bitcoin, it is likely that whakes will continue to play their role in the market and make the price of bitcoin volatile so they can profit from the price difference. But maybe if there are many bitcoin investors and it becomes more popular, it is likely that bitcoin will be more stable

There are lots of guesses about whom Satoshi is and what he is up to by now, since we don't have any accurate clue about his identity, personality and mission he is onto next after bitcoin, we all cant predict much about Satoshi and since this is all we could say for now, lets await on what may comes in after bitcoin in such a big way and that is if there's any, but before then, all the fingers crossed.
As an anonymous figure whose identity is unknown, he has made progress with his bitcoin. And until now we don't know who he is? and it is possible that developed countries have tracked sathosi but have not been able to reveal the figure of sathosi. Actually we don't need to be curious about this figure, just focus on how to get profit from what he has created, bitcoin

In 2013, the US government introduced some policies and regulations that limited the use of Bitcoin as it was then labelled as "tool for criminals". Fast-forward to 12 years later, they same government have not just made new policies that encourages Bitcoin but have also invested in it through the Bitcoin Reserve. If the most powerful government in the world can adopt Bitcoin after initially kicking against it, you should draw your conclusions from there to know that Bitcoin in the future will be too global for EU not to adopt it. Personally, I feel it's just a matter of time for EU and other powerful governmental bodies to adopt Bitcoin.
I think in the future, countries that used to ban bitcoin will accept and adopt bitcoin. As you said, the US used to be against bitcoin and now the US government has made bitcoin a strategic reserve fund. And I think other countries will follow what the US government is doing soon.

Ethereum has been in a downward spiral since it was converted into a mintable coin. And no one knows how far it will go. SOLANA has become a very strong coin and there is a possibility that it will do much better in the future. And because of the low price of SOLANA, it is in the eyes of investors. I myself am also waiting to invest in SOLANA. And when I see SOL below $100, I will start buying SOL and my target will be to hold at least 50 SOL. Where the amount of Ethereum holding will be 0 in my holding assets

I don't think ethereum is the only coin guilty of this dump, there are some other like Solana itself that has been dumping for some months now, even faster than ethereum we are comparing it with but the reason why ethereum is bad is that it never pump when Bitcoin was puking, there shouldn't be a reason to be dumping now.

I think that meme coins contributed to why sol price was highly move and there has been a lot of political interest in Solana than in ethereum, they didn't make noise like the way sol did last year but Solana made many promises and none seems to be fulfill yet.

Over the years, ETH has made its name to the masses and public, and has gained mass adoption, SOL is working on gaining that mass adoption and popularity as well, in a matter of time though, if ETH doesn't work on their transaction fee issues, that might be a chance for SOL to come drag for some space that is already occupied.

This is a down trend in the crypto market for the past three months of the year, and this has affected not only ETH or SOL, but the entire crypto industry. So, let's wait and see how the market will be after this continuous down trend. Both coins have good networks in the community, the only difference is their price and ranking in CMC.

         -     I think the situation of SOL now is like the situation of ETH during 2016-2017, now let's assume that if it is 100% sure that it will surpass the price of Ethereum in these times, maybe I will convert my other assets immediately to SOL then hold immediately always.

But since ethereum is volatile, it is difficult to determine and so is Solana at this time. Therefore, in my conclusion I am not sure if in this season of bull run Solana will overtake ethereum, maybe it can happen but not at this time.
even though ethereum seems to be struggling this year, ethereum is still widely owned by large investors. so I think this year solana can't overtake ethereum,
Maybe in the next few years, that could happen.
because it seems that solana is showing good movement and is in great demand by investors, especially for coins.

Solana Forum / Re: Solana project still moving under the radar?
« on: April 28, 2025, 10:08:00 PM »
Ohh I see. Anyways a coin or token being listed on coin gecko really doesn't tell a hundred percent that it will hold up. Sometimes these platforms mainly focus on checking if that meme is a scam one and if it's on a secured network.
Unlike some other sites you see coins with even an incomplete elliptic curve being listed mostly because of hype and it's where some degen traders carry out snipping.
Once the memecoin nature of a token has been identified, we also shouldn't have overly high expectations for that token. It has very little chance of becoming as big as DOGE, SHIB, PEPE, or BONK, while the risk of being forgotten is very high, similar to millions of other memecoins in this market.

Investors, please be cautious with memecoins. They may be appealing, but they come with extremely high risks. We should use capital wisely instead of throwing it into memecoins like a game of chance. Luck doesn't last as long as the results of skillful project analysis and token selection!
That's right, meme coins are an interesting investment but the risk is very high. If I personally invest in meme coins but with a small capital because I don't want to lose much if the coin doesn't match expectations.
for those who have a lot of experience investing in meme coins and have good analysis and [prediction, they might be able to get big profits,

Solana Forum / Re: What's Next for Solana After Hitting Its ATH?
« on: April 28, 2025, 09:26:05 PM »

ethereum is honestly not doing that well these days but is doing enough to keep itself second to bitcoin and not let any coin outshine itself still it will take a lot for another coin to emerge ahead of ethereum especially given its history and as for bnb i do not know if a coin associated with a platform but since it is widely used anyway i guess it will be not so much of a problem
ethereum indeed remains in second place CMC even though it has not shown good movement in the crypto market for the past two years.
BNB still shows its potential as a coin from the largest exchange.
And solana in the past two years, has shown good progress because many hype meme coins use this network.

Privacy Coins Forum / Re: Will privacy coins survive?
« on: April 25, 2025, 11:52:18 PM »
They are unstoppable. Monero is currently experiencing the kind of state and corporate oppression that Bitcoin faced around 2015.

It will work about as well as that did.

Bitcoin isn't a privacy coin and it's not been used to launder money while the perpetrators hide under it and because it was becoming difficult for the government to track them, the government forced the centralized exchanges to delist it. If you see Montero trading on any tier A exchange, consider it a ticking time bomb because it will soon be dlisted.

Privacy coins are good by the way but they are too private that government don't know anything about sender and receiver, they have to completely let it go unlike Bitcoin where you can have some level of privacy but you can't do bad things underneath because it's not completely private.

Yes, privacy coins are really hard for the government to track, and that is One of the reasons they have ben clamping down on them through the CEX exchanges. Monero, Dash, and others privacy coins can hardly been seen on centralized exchange because of pressure from governments.
I think that privacy will continue to exist, it will be very difficult for government close them completely, the most challenges factor  is poor investing and trading opportunities. I just hope this challenge can be overcome in near future.
And with that, we shouldn't look for privacy coins as some form of investment and I think they are those who investors will shy away. And those who are using it is for privacy, not that they are doing anything wrong and hiding something, but for us crypto enthusiast, we want to remain private and anonymous so that no one can track our movement. And this is the basic tenant on why privacy coins are still surviving up to this day even though it has been crack down since 2018.
I never keep privacy coins, but only use them for transactions that I consider safer using private coins. even though it is not illegal activities, anonymity is also sometimes needed in our transactions. so there are many considerations that I have to do in making transactions.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: Have Stablecoins Changed the Game?
« on: April 25, 2025, 11:46:35 PM »
Globally I think that USDT or stable coins have the opposite function to cryptocurrency because its algorithmic system stabilizes the price 1:1 with USD. While cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin if they have entered the market, the price will definitely go up and down and cannot be controlled by anyone.
The presence of USDT stable coins can change a game that used to be cryptocurrency whose price always changed every time and the presence of USDT cryptocurrency is actually stable and can also change the profits and losses from price changes in BTCxUSDT trading.

holding USDT is even better for an investor especially in the bear season because you get to maintain your wealth's value while holding cryptocurrency could be hurtful.

the algorithmic stablecoin is actually risky if you have heard of the LUNA project which their stablecoin was de-pegged in the defi platform. probably the reason why the algorithmic stablecoin isn't attractive to use anymore all because of that tragic LUNA project.
stable coins are indeed a way to save our asset portfolio when the market is down, we can choose USDT or USDC according to our respective preferences.
I also often do that when the market tends to go down, and it will likely take a long time to wait / When some potential coins drop in price, I will buy those coins.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: USDC and USDT
« on: April 25, 2025, 10:23:05 PM »
It is recently that I am discovered that USDC and USDT are two different stable coins. I was using the both to sell coins and the amounts were the same price and if there is any different it was like $0.0003 so I was not feeling the impact. It was recently that I sent USDC to someone and the person converted it to USDT and they cut almost 2$ then and I USDT is slightly superior to USDC but they are all in the same category. Whenever USDT moves up and down USDC also follow.
I also use both stable coins, USDT and USDC. The price difference is not that big. So I think both are commonly used.
However, I do like using USDT, because I am more familiar with it during crypto market transactions, especially CEX.
So honestly I don't think there is a big difference between the two.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: BNB prices will go up
« on: April 23, 2025, 11:29:17 PM »

However, we must admit that the strong influence of binance on BNB is very much felt and can always provide innovations that are carried out so that BNB can get maximum results to be able to compete with others, and it is clear that until now BNB is still the best and potential even though there are those who continue to compete with it but with binance's capabilities, BNB will be able to continue to contribute to remain the best.
Of course with competition with SOL or others will continue to make BNB continue to develop well with the help of Binance.
I agree with you, with the competition between BNB and Solana at this time it will make it a good competition for both, so that they can always provide the best for users.
The dev team can improve well so as not to be left behind by its competitors

Binance Smart Chain + Ecosystem / Re: Investment of BNB
« on: April 23, 2025, 11:12:51 PM »

Indeed, we cannot avoid the trust of its holders, because all invest because of that trust, and we know that BNB is supported by Binance, whose reputation is unavoidably very good until now with its community, which is also very large.
Right as you said that Binance will continue to strive so that BNB can be a trust to be used as an investment in doing various ways so that innovation so that BNB can be the best until now.
BNB supported by binance provides confidence for investors, because so far as a binance exchange user I feel satisfied and my assets are safe there. I spend a lot of time on binance because I do more trading there.
BNB is still a trusted coin and binance always keeps this coin from falling with the IEO program, one of them

Solana Forum / Re: What's Next for Solana After Hitting Its ATH?
« on: April 23, 2025, 11:03:47 PM »
Solana is not just a cryptocurrency  it's also a blockchain ecosystem. So if you want to pay solan then you have to make deep upset where the real growth is happening. Moreover, solan always has a key power in cases such as non fungible token, blockchain gaming and web3. So this is where things are really interesting because solan is often referred to as a potential like ethereum  killer. Most long time investors are always searching for strong platform and in that case Solona Coin is the most important choice.
Many say that Solana will be the Ethereum killer in the future, but we have to look at Ethereum which has been proven to always be the number two coin after Bitcoin. It still takes a long time for Solana to be able to compete and beat Ethereum. BNB also has the opportunity for that, but I see Ethereum is still strong
