Cryptocurrency discussions / Why Is The Price Of Bitcoin So Volatile?
« on: August 13, 2018, 05:11:33 PM »
Data from Coinmarketcap.com shows a sharp decline in Bitcoin prices from $18,737.60 December 18th of last year to $6,252.44 on February 6th of this year. However, Bitcoin’s value had already increased to $9,959.84 as of February 16th at 21:00. Rather than a steady increase in Bitcoin’s price up to mid-December of last year, this reflects volatility of this leading cryptocurrency.

Now the transaction fee has become such lower that we are now able to send even 10,000 dollars for just 1 cent as transaction fee.

Now the transaction volume has gone down to just 135k transactions per day.

Is this change in transaction fee due to segwit activation or due to decrease in crypto hype which is noticed nowadays?

This study is definitely worth checking out if you want to keep yourself informed, many big name crypto organizations (nearly 150 in total) contributed to the compilation of this study.
This Global Cryptocurrency Benchmarking Study is an inaugural research focused on alternative payment systems and digital assets. Led by Dr Garrick Hileman, it is the first study of its kind to holistically examine the burgeoning global cryptocurrency industry and its key constituents, which include exchanges, wallets, payments and mining. The findings are both striking and thought-provoking.

By our count, over 300 academic articles have been published on various aspects of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies over the past several years. However, these works tend to take a narrow focus. To our knowledge this is the first global cryptocurrency study based on nonpublic ‘of-chain’ data. We designed the study to present an empirical picture of the current state of this still maturing industry, and to explore how cryptocurrencies are being used today. The findings from this study will be useful to industry, academics, policymakers, media, and anyone seeking to better understand the cryptocurrency landscape.

This study would not have been possible without the support and participation from nearly 150 cryptocurrency companies and individuals that contributed data, many of which have elected to have their logos displayed in this report. This study also greatly benefited from suggestions and support we received from many individuals and firms we recognize in the Acknowledgements. We are grateful for the trust placed by study participants in the University of Cambridge research team. We are looking forward to continuing and expand

The supplier of luxury cars began to cooperate with crypto exchange bitFlyer. The staff of the platform provide technical support when making a payment in bitcoins in 3 salons L Operaio.

The idea is to accept payment in bitcoins, the leadership of the company L Operaio appeared at the end of last year, however, a reliable partner managed to find just now.
The crypto currency exchange bitFlyer has always actively supported new projects. For platform employees, this is not the first experience in the automotive sector. Earlier, bitFlyer signed a partnership agreement with the Idom car dealer. The company specializes in the sale of used cars.
Cooperation with bitFlyer will allow L'operaio customers to quickly pay with bitcoins. To buy a car, customers of the salon must scan the QR-code and use the crypto exchange to transfer funds.
While you can not buy all the machines, the limit of purchases for bitcoins is set at 100 million yen, which is about 942 thousand dollars.
The automotive industry is one of the most loyal to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies. Recently it became known that the American automotive giant Ford has filed a patent for a new system of building traffic. Drivers will be able to reward each other with tokens for "concessions on the roads".

Cryptocurrency discussions / Memories with Bitcoin
« on: August 13, 2018, 03:40:15 PM »
Since I started bitcoin many people are insulting my work on the grounds that crypto has no future even profit from it. I feel what it feels like for the first time to be banned from doing a job by my parents because of my bitcoin activity every day, they do not believe that a discussion can make money. I do not give up so easily with circumstances that do not support me doing activities with bitcoin and I believe that what I do with bitcoin can make happiness in the future. The more I am blamed the more optimistically to prove to them that what I do with bitcoin can produce something. The peak is at the end of 2017 where bitcoin reaches its highest price, from the pumping I get the benefit of holding some bitcoin. The people who once scolded me turned into wanting to follow the activities I did because they saw I could buy something they could not buy. The purchase I made from the bitcoin activity along with me has been proven by me to all the people who have insulted me. I do not intend to take revenge against them even I have good intentions to invite them to achieve mutual success.

I believe prayer and effort are two things we need to cultivate to achieve success.

How do you think this can make all believers switch to using bitcoin? Whether success can we get without a process?

Hello,

I had read a few months ago that many people like warren buffet had bad perspective for cryprocurrency. He said that bitcoin will have a bad ending.

Do you think it's proper for him to gave a comment like that?

IMO it's not proper. Even if he was an expert in stockmarket but he was commenting on cryptomarket.

It's like an Electrical Engineer questioning the structural integrity of a building design by a Civil Engineer.

Cryptocurrency discussions / A Possible Way to Re-Use Lost Bitcoins
« on: August 13, 2018, 03:27:34 PM »
I have heard a thousand times that many bitcoins are lost due to the owners either forget their private keys, lost the hard drive, or simply die before they tell their family about the wealth. Although 21 million sounds like a lot, but with accidents like those keep happening, it's sooner or later bitcoin will gradually...be depleted. I know now the reward for miners are new issued bitcoins plus transaction fees, could it be possible that some day the reward includes a new feature, that all wallets will give a small portion of its balance to the miners, either a small percentage of the balance, or just a few Satoshis per wallet. So that "dead" bitcoins will slowly become global wealth for all humans again over a great span of time? What do you think? Is it a very stupid idea?

Bitcoin Forum / Switzerland Wants to be The Crypto-Nation
« on: August 12, 2018, 05:36:54 PM »
Switzerland's tiny neighbour, Liechtenstein, is taking a leadership position with much bolder policies and a faster, more focused government that truly understands and embraces blockchain technology. For that reason, it truly deserves the title of "cryptocountry".

I think Switzerland will catch up eventually. BTC will go to moon. How do you think?
