Cryptocurrency discussions / So, What's next?
« on: August 27, 2018, 10:57:20 PM »
Sorry in advance if this might sound stupid, I know I can read all the way on the internet but I want answer from people who have already done the process.

After having token from any campaign or Airdrops or after investing token from ICOs, what did you next?

A few months for cryptocurrencies all over the world have been a little difficult as there have been a number of speculations regarding the Digital assets reliability and credibility.

Just like other countries, South Korea was also earlier conjectural about the usage of virtual currencies in the country. According to recent improvements, the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) of South Korea has declared that the government is ready to accept 'Normal' cryptocurrency transactions.

The officials further clarified that the entire world is planning to introduce a regulatory framework to gain a control on digital currencies, hence, instead of developing strict and strong controls, we should realize the importance and enable it for Normal transactions.

However, this new statement by FSS official, Mr. Choi completely contradicts his earlier stand on designing strict regulations on cryptocurrencies. Earlier, he even remarked that Bitcoin will lose its bubble later. So, this new optimistic approach towards cryptocurrencies an opposite viewpoint.

This initiative is helping medium and small-sized exchanges as the Korean Blockchain Association has imposed a real-name system on exchanges and thereby ceased the usage of virtual accounts that permit anonymous digital currency trading. This will encourage security and safety of the transactions and safeguard the money of the cryptocurrency holders.

The government authorities are also encouraging Banks to work with Crypto exchanges and make transactions with these crypto exchanges, as they have sufficient and efficient systems that can freely open virtual currency real name accounts. This will to an extent solve the problem of small and medium-sized exchanges who are unable to obtain virtual accounts

Cryptocurrency discussions / Old MtGox CSV Spreadsheet Examples?
« on: August 27, 2018, 10:51:44 PM »
Hey there, I’m a old timer for Bitcoin at this point and this is a throwaway account. Got started in 2011, got snagged in the MtGox mess in early 2014. My question relates to Mtgox. I'm sure quite a view other crypto vets still around here did as well.

Does anyone have any of the spreadsheets you could download off of MtGox? For tax purposes I'm going through all the old behind the scenes trading data from the leaked MtGox internal files... but from what I've read that isn't how the actual files users could download were formatted. It seems it would creat multiple CSV files based on currency. So BTC, USD, so forth.

Anyone have an examples they could show me? It would be awesome!  Cheesy Grin

Where is the moon for you?

I would really like to get some responses from long time HODLers of BTC.

If you bought BTC @ $200, are we at the moon yet?

What if you got in at $20?

Where is the moon that everyone is waiting for?

Bitcoin Forum / The environmental problem
« on: August 26, 2018, 10:52:07 PM »
Hello. I was thinking about bitcoin disadvantages, and I just realized how bad the bitcoin was for the environment. We are literally destroying the planet with mining. And it will get worse and worse.
I think, if we want the bitcoin to be a viable money we have to solve this problem. I was thinking about green energy.
What do you think about this problem, and how could we fix it?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Youtube daily for bitcoin price analysis
« on: August 25, 2018, 07:17:29 PM »
Hello Guys,

For some time I was a silent reader of bitcointalk forum, but now I decided to contribute.
So I started an Youtube series, to talk about bitcoin price changes, first video is here:

Now, you may ask, why doing this?
I'll try to answer what are the honest reasons behind doing this.

1. Give something back!
I've found a lot of support on forums, community has helped me alot with ideas and have questions answered, when I started with mining and trading. I want to give some of the knowledge back, and this is putting some work sharing with what I learnt.
2. Do something for myself. My personal objective is starting something new, that will help improve some skills. This is youtube technical analysis.

What are the benefits and what could be seen in the videos?

For the followers, this will be a bitcoin price analysis, explaining trends using Eliot Wave principle. We've found that Eliot Wave is a strong technical analysis and applies many times for the price changes we've had with cryptos.
Linking this technical analysis with fundamentals (news around bitcoin), to get a good forecast. This will help one trade, or maybe withdraw money from mining at a very good price.
I really hope this works and will be put to good use.

This will be my first dive into youtube videos, so any support and feedback really helps. Thanks.

i saw different recommended article in google about bitcoin that it will hit $50,000 in the end of 2018
as of now there are a lot of prediction about price some say it could hit more than that and in 2020 more than $1,000,000
in 2020 there a possibility of sudden price jump again because of the next halving but we are still not sure if it could hit more than $1,000,000
in my observation when price start to drop there a lot of bad news that will discourage and make panic to the holder as of now i dont see any bad news about bitcoin like getting ban or something all i see now is price prediction that will encourage new to bitcoin to invest more and the current investor to HODL .
my question is do you think this is the start of the price rise until the end of this year before it reach the expected price of $50,000 ?

LOTS OF RUMORS AND BLACKHEAD NEWS COMING AROUND THE WORLD , ARE WE SECURE IN OUR INVESTMENT ON BITCOIN?

Hi guys, give me your thought about how much of your current crypto portfolio is invested in bitcoin and how much in altcoins?

I mean, we all see that so many different projects are starting every day and there are a lot of altcoins that now have a significant market share (first of all Ethereum).

What do you guys think about having bitcoin vs altcoins?
Personally, I'm quite heavily invested in altcoins, Ethereum and Neo first of all, but also some smaller ones and the part of my portfolio related to Bitcoin has become much smaller (but anyway is still consistent): what do you think?

Cryptocurrency discussions / What Type Of Asset Do You Think Bitcoin Is?
« on: August 24, 2018, 02:31:11 PM »
Bitcoin has certain characteristics that are similar to typical commodities, such as gold. Bitcoin also meets some requirements of the standard definition of a currency. Some argue that bitcoin is a security, or an investment contract with implicit or explicit ownership terms.
What Type Of Asset Do You Think Bitcoin Is? Commodity, Currency, Security, Perfect hedge?

I wasn't expecting it, but I am surprisingly content with what is happening, hodling strong, cost averaging, and spending a lot less time looking at my portfolio.
