Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Crypto communities

I only use forums and discords. all information is there. I can find a large community and more updates on news.
Maybe it's sounds funny from me, but forums are old and not for news
Totally agree. The speed of news and messages exchange is super slow. For this reason I recommend you telegram channels and messengers.

Why do you need that? Cryptocurrencies was created for making bank cards irrelevant.

Do you really believe that?
I think that crypo just making the world of money more convenient and fair.
And how is that? I agree that crypto will replace fiat soon or later, but they far away from perfection
Crypto will do to fiat all the same e-mail did to the post-office, i.g. it'll not replace it.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: How to make cryptocurrency withdrawal?
« on: November 30, 2018, 03:01:51 PM »

It depends on the country you live actually. Many Americans like bitbay, because ATM cash withdrawals are allowed with the bitpay Visa. It's granddaddy of crypto-debit cards. But it only takes BTC and only converts to one fiat currency: the U.S. dollar.
Where r u from?
Does it work only in the US?

Sorting Box / Re: Population of coins
« on: November 30, 2018, 02:57:05 PM »
Hey guys!

There are many coins on the market now and they continue to appear. But how is it possible to make your coin popular and wide-known in a huge market?
One of the ways is connecting new coin to messenger for example. People look for a new app for communication and as a bonus they are offered a new coin to use.

How do you think does this strategy work well? Would you believe such coins?
And what other ways do you know not to produce a coin that will disappear somewhere.

I think it's a childish strategy.
For your own coin you need to have means for development, support and marketing.
By applying function just in one app you will get nothing. Nonsense.
Why a coin can not be a mean of marketing strategy for a messenger let's say?

Crypto is falling as well as communities.
Steemit is shedding over 70% of its workforce as the fall in crypto prices bites…I hope the next chapter of the story remains to be seen
I agree. We should await until the market recovers a bit.

The best way to know relevant info about new coins is telegram channels. You don't have to search every time on different platforms . But the drawback - they are sometimes paid for the commercial.

yes. sometimes on the telegram channel like that. if in my opinion the project's general channel can be a detailed reference about the project and the project's whitepaper can we make the project's decision good or not.
Yes, totally agree. The community should be strong  and trustworthy. And the whitepaper should contain relevant analytics, not just 10 pages of words/
How could I detect strong community?
Not just bots amongst its members, admins are usually ceo or dev and they answer any question 24/7

Check Shake Pay. It is a Canadian company offering a pin and chip Visa Prepaid Card and a currency-conversion app. The card will convert Bitcoin, DASH, and Ethereum, into U.S dollars and Euros. It also allows ATM withdrawals.

Hello. I earn cryptocurrencies by participating in AirDrops and referral programs, that is easy even if you are still studying in the High School ;) I believe that crypto boom will be again soon, so I’am preparing to convert my funds in stable currencies when price will go up to the moon (positive thinking). But I’am rly concerned about the security on DEXs , especially during the booms risks of hacking are terrible and moreover I heard on some DEXes user can log in via simple passcode. Idk whether it is gossip or not, but I need your advice where to store my honestly earned coins ?

Ledger Nano S is a great solution to your problem.
I highly recommend it.

I also store my assets on nano s  ;D

I have come to realize that projects that do not offer icos are most legit and do well more than the ones that offer icos.
Yes, self funded projects are diligent.

General Discussion / Re: Telegram Messenger doesn`t encrypt messages.
« on: November 29, 2018, 10:01:12 AM »
I'm sure TG is encrypted and safe, at least we don't have more safe alternatives, do we?
Threema is great alternative, i did the research and tg is not that great, especially when it come to the encryption
unfortunately it's not free
How much is the subscription? Is only the desktop tg version is not secure?
