Well this can be somewhat complicated including that today decentralization is very popular you can say the trend for 2019 like the DexAge platform other DEX alike platform which strive to work without central authorities intrude and the bank is more like government related object so it is hard to say indeed.

It seems to be that way yes. I've also noticed more people starting to talk about ICOs too or maybe I just missed it. Especially the word "decentralization" I think might be a trend for 2019. DEX platforms are getting really popular today. The projects starting to use Ethereum for their tokens again which might influence on price to rise also.

I would not agree with that and probably a few will. Either BTC or Ethereum are well designed scripts created for crypto transactions and both of them are not that expansive I'd even say cheap right now. Most of the projects are using their technology and some create their own but in most cases it is based either on BTC or ETH. Most ICOs use Ethereum contract as a base for their tokens projects like 0x, Aeternity, EOS, etc. and an upcoming today-popular DexAge (DXG) platform is also based on Ethereum. So the technology of these coins are widely used so it cannot be waste.

Of course it is but you can say not every ICO is going to be a big boom or worth project nowadays there hundreds of projects striving to achieve their goal that they aim to but it can be a fake as well so you gotta learn the project from the beginning and find it's information to be available everywhere and not hidden means they are real and open to the people. As an example DexAge p2p Escrow Trading platform, from my searches it's clear and transparent project with all information that you need you are able to find. Nothing to hide. Such projects wort a shot also they've been listed on Latoken already where you can see the statistics of raised funds which shows you the popularity for investment.

There are lots of websites you can google like icobench and others. The DexAge ICO which is I'm into right now was listed this week on LaToken exchange. I find both of these platforms pretty interesting DexAge if aiming for decentralized p2p escrow trading and it's good it's decentralized and on LaToken you can buy many ICOs tokens including DexAge (DXG) token and other tokens. I've noticed this platform is listing nice ICOs projects.

Well I'm not sure how is it possible to identify the scammers as they can be anywhere. For some time I've interested in investing crypto Exchanges like one of my first was Exscudo long time ago even though they are not in the coinmarket cap yet but they are still kicking, right now I'm aimed at DexAge.io they are building decentralized p2p ecosystem exchange and currently holding a token crowd-sale as well. I'm sure there are some companies that are good too but again it's your choice and your risk.
