Just By using name Satoshi is enough to create Buzz in Market and ICO will be in Limelight. But Everyone will definitely see the potential of the Platform. If the Platform has Potential then Investments will FlowIn like Water.

ETH is a generic Chain it doesn't focus on only one solution. Like IOTA, TRON they concentrate mostly on being Game Platform. Stellar And Ripple are the best payment Apps. So fame of ETH is decreasing Day by Day as it's slow and People want more fast but low Transaction cost Chains.

People often say Ethereum will be around for Atleast 10 more years. I would say if Ethereum foundation are working on ways to make their Blockchain fast then there will no Alternative for Ethereum. IOTA has Promised to be good platform for Games but Community will not let ETH down.

Bitcoin is the King as of Now. ETH got Good Community support so with it's Name some launched Companies which have failed and some have lived upto expectations.
Stellar Network and Ripple go hand by hand have also showed stability and signalled they are future in Cross border payment.

Scam ICOs of 2017 made everyone rethink about investing in ICOs. So people were catious in 2018 and invested only the best projects. You should take note that 96% of the ICOs failed in 2017 which deprived people's wealth and trust in ICO.
2019 will also be very cautious. We can only expect institutional Investments only for important project. I guess it's the end of ICO glory time

I belive Bearish Market is the best time to invest if you have currency in USD. I suggest you to do your own research and buy any coin which is of low value now. It's better not to buy BTC or any other forks too. Go for XLM, XRP, TRON etc
