For me, it's NO, the real root of evil is the person who use money to control other people and rules. Money is a necessity, we just need to use it wise and use it properly, I believe that money can bring happiness to person but sometimes people just let money control their personality which leads to evil.

You just need to be satisfied for what you have up to now, just be thankful when your money grows and don't change.
