Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Your prediction about bullrun in 2019
« on: April 09, 2019, 02:57:34 PM »
I have seen many predictions about bullrun in 2019. So, I made this poll to know how many people who really believe in bullrun in 2019 on altcoinstalks forum. Please give your reasons to choose the option with reasonable comments.  :D

The bull market will start with Bitcoin growth. The fact that Bitcoin will grow again is a proven pattern over the years, so I have no doubt that the bull market will certainly come. Why precisely in 2019? Because the bear market has lasted long enough for the price of Bitcoin to become attractive again.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: WHY IEOs CAME INTO EXISTENCE
« on: April 09, 2019, 02:49:37 PM »
Have you ever thought of this before?

When I first heard of IEOs from smaller exchanges, I thought they were simply catering to one of the demands of ICO investors which is immediate exchange listing.

Then came the bigger centralized exchanges like Binance, Bittrex, and Kucoin. It somehow made me wonder why would they open up their platform to crowdfunding. Maybe because they also think that the ICO market is dying? If so, then that would mean less new projects. With less new projects, less potential source of income (listing fees).

So in the end, it is still all about the $$$. These exchange are probably afraid of losing one of their major source of income  ;D

What's your take on this?

Note: I've also posted this in another forum

IEO is a way for an exchange to manipulate the price of its own coin and attract new users to the exchange.
Very soon, this way of investing can bring many problems to the market. Because, as IEO, this service is now in demand, but not enough supply. Therefore, the shortage of "offers" will begin to fill the other exchanges. Among them will be a lot of small, struggling for the survival of exchanges that can help even the scammers.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Does ICO need regulation?
« on: April 09, 2019, 02:23:13 PM »
There were too many scammers in 2017, at the moment when the rise of Bitcoin lured many new players to the market. The bear market has driven many scammers out of the game, because after the Bitcoin collapse:
1) many potential investors left the market.
2) Increased awareness of people investing in projects. They began to think more about what they were doing and how it should earn them money.

I do not deny the fact that the ICO market needs rules. But it should not be iron mittens. Everything must be adequate and plastic. It often happens that some investors, by their very nature, are starting to spread incorrect information about the project and accuse of fraud. It is necessary to make sure that the project has the right to defend its reputation and to protect itself from attacks. And since we are talking about the regulation and punishment of unscrupulous projects, then we should not forget about unscrupulous investors.

I say this because I myself have seen how people invest money without even reading WP projects, and then they are surprised at why the project does not develop along the path that they want. Such people are prone to panic and very often begin to spread false information, guided by personal insults. Some of these people require projects to buy trading volumes. But, as far as I know, it is generally illegal.

I only have a few Bounty tokens but I don't sell them.
I am sure Cryptocurrency will return to rising prices until like in 2017. And I have no doubt about all cryptocurrency.

I agree with you. I do not sell my cryptocurrency. I keep a part of cryptocurrency in the investment portfolio, and I use the second part for trading on the  exchange. I am also confident that the market will certainly return to the heights of 2017.

Obviously, from all the time high of 2017 to the worst bear run that grip the crypto market in 2018, many individuals and organizations had concluded that crypto is a bubble ready to burst.
Now, i think crypto has proven itself to be legit invention and ready to pump. What do you think?

Bitcoin has been around for ten years. During this time, it fell many times and so many times again grew in value. Cryptocurrencies have already become an integral part of our world and the financial sector will have to reckon with this. Watch the behavior of banks and eminent economists - many of them are already trying to find their place in cryptocurrency.
