I can't agree with you 100% on this, bitcoin has being the foundation of investing in cryptocurrencies, imagine no one invested in it I don't there will any cryptocurrencies as of now. Well that being said 70% of my funds in cryptocurrencies are in bitcoin, while the other 30% are invested in altcoins Veil to be precised. Why VEIL? because it is addressing a key problem in the privacy coin space, and that's to advance the Zerocoin Protocol to a point where even basecoin transactions are anonymous.

A few years ago you could just close your window drapes or hide a few bills under your matress... and you got your privacy...
These days our lives are hybrid, always in conection with a digital world and privacy is no longer a door we can close... should we give it up, or claim our right back? Well, at least we should have the right to choose!
There is a whole new generation of privacy coins that is overcoming some of the major flaws of the older competitors and offering a solid and flexible private asset.
Veil project is one of my favourites, combining Zerocoin and RingCT technologies, delivering "uncompromising, always-on privacy".
They use a combined Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake, in order to combine security and distribution. And Veil is the first coin that allows its holders to stake anonymously, generating passive income. On top of this, you can choose the level of privacy you want on your wallet/transactions...
What are your favourite privacy coins?
I think veil did a thorough research on the flaws of the older competitive privacy coins, brought out solutions and improve the comprising privacy in blockchain, this is what makes veil stands out

This is so true coins are just springing everyday with the sole aim to scam investors... Before investing in any coin thorough research should be done. Like veil for example when I heard about the project I don't just jump on it because it listed on coinmarket cap. I had to thorough findings and got to discover for myself that veil has a good prospect.

My all-time favorite coin right now is veil; why veil? veil is a privacy coin, with the current situation of the low engagement of the privacy policy in blockchain, veil is aiming to close the rife caused by compromising privacy in blockchain.

Investing in ICOs at this time is quite risky except project with prospects and great potential but why invest in ICOs when there are altcoins like veil doing well, the ideology of veil project is quite a catch. Investing in altcoins is much more reliable.

I read a little in your white paper. It is quite difficult to read more, since it is interesting for specialists. But, besides cool technology, there should be an opportunity to move in the markets.
