Ang security breach ay natural na dito sa mundo ng Crypto and I just want to share my own simple ways on how to lessen the possibility of being hacked, specially in our emails.


Nasa baba ang ibat ibang pamamaraan na aking nakagisnan gawin to secure my own data :

1. Using Multiple Emails -
I recommend using multiple emails, normally 2 to 3 emails to protect the MAIN account. Para maprotektahan natin ang ating mga accounts sa anumang posibleng Scam, Phishing sites etc. na maaaring ikapahamak ng iyong personal information.

Just simply identify which email is your main and which email ang gagawin mong dummy or pang gera HAHA.

Explanation :

MAIN :
Use this email para magregister sa mga reputable sites and apps na humahawak sa iyong pondo, like E-wallets (Coins.ph, Coinbase, Abra etc.) at sa reputable exchanges that holds your assets (Binance, Bitfinex, Polinex, HitBTC etc.)

Maaari rin itong gamitin sa ibat't ibang social media accounts such as :
Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.

Pero mas secure kung meron kang email na magkabukod.  Email for social medias and email for all fund controll sites and apps.

Note :
Never use this email to register to any sites, lalo na kung Airdrop and Bounty Hunter ka.

DUMMY (PANG GERA) :
Use this email to any sites, hindi siya ganon kahalaga like Main email. Even if you're not sure about the sites / apps background or review it is safe basta hindi mo siya ililink to your Main account. Use your main to backup your dummy if ever na mahack o malimutan ang password, but don't do it vice versa. Kailangang si Main lang ang may controll Kay dummy for recovery purposes.

As I mention earlier, pwede ka gumamit ng 2, 3, or more emails, the important wala connection si Dummy para maka access kay main.

2. Using Multiple Password :
Katulad ni email, pwede ka rin gumamit ng multiple password with different use para maisecure at maging convenient ang pag manage ng mga accounts.

Example :

Main  - December@123
Dummy - November$456

Pwede ka pang magdagdag ng Isa, dalawa o hanggang ilan ang ideal quantity of password pero I recommend using 2 passwords for convenient in terms of memorizing.

Kung napapansin mo halos magkapareho lang sila ng Format, because it is made for convenient purposes.
Ang paglalagay ng numero, CAPITAL LETTERS at special characters can make your password more stronger. Instead of making long password with pure small letters is easy to crack.

3. Mobile Number -
Never let your main Email without any mobile numbers linked. Kung si dummy, naka back up si main. Dito naman, si mobile number ang nakaback up ka Main. Much better use this number as 2FA for your main.

Note : if ever mawala si number, agad itong palitan ng bago hannggang may access ka pa sa Main.
