According to the DEATH CROSS that just happened in BTC, it is scheduled for a crash... Would anyone second that?

Hi! I read this article about the BTC Death Cross that just happened. What would be a good coin alternative to jump into before the crash?
I am guessing you wouldn't want a coin paired with BTC. However, I am new and not sure if that would make a difference.
I can imagine that this would affect the entire crypto world? Would Fiat just be better until this all flushes out?
