I am a huge fan of stellar, because of mainly the two reasons you said that gas fees are very very low and transactions are instant almost. If I am buying crypto, normally majority of it is stellar most of the times  I do like similar coins which are as fast as stellar but if you compare, you will know that majority of coins which are as established as stellar are lot more expensive while stellar is still available for few cents!
