Incentivised Posting / Shill / Signs of bull run already?
« on: September 21, 2024, 12:01:25 AM »
As we prepare for October which historically ushers in the greenest dildos, there are already signs of bull run. Memecoins are beginning to bounce back, lots of TGEs are happening, release of TVLs across multiple DeFi projects and exchanges increased giveaway events.

Generally, those are my indicators for a bull run (I might be wrong tho), especially when top tier cexes like BG, Binance, etc becomes "a bit" generous in their giveaways, staking APYs and Loans.

Crypto Exchanges / Effect of Binance policy change in listing
« on: September 18, 2024, 10:35:27 AM »
In a bid to boost crypto market cap and encourage start-ups, Binance announced their readiness to support and list low cap/mid cap tokens in Q1 of 2024, marking a major policy change in the exchange's long standing legacy. What followed was everyone's guess as projects like Notcoin, Neiro and its ilks have now find their way onto Binance spot trading market.

It's just pertinent that price volatility are inevitable with such projects/tokens as most of these tokens have seen a massive dip in a short time. And now, there are mixed sentiments whether the timing was right for the policy change? Only time will tell!!

Meme Coins / Re: Can Catizen Do well than Notcoin
« on: September 10, 2024, 11:02:03 AM »
Judging from the total supply and the revenue the game has generated from daily check-ins, in-game purchases and charity campaigns (btw, I'm still participating in all these campaigns with even other giveaway events on BG), we could easily see $500m initial market cap (listing day) meaning listing price could easily be in the region of $0.5

ell, that depends on your airdrop strategy. Pesonally, I'm more inclined to tesnet airdrops and stakedrops because recent events have shwn they are more legit and gives out more reward than others.

Presently, I'm testing out Haven1 and also involved in bothe Solana ecosystm and the cosmos ecosystem stakedrops. I'm no giving any specifics but these works for me.

Finally, it's important you DYOR before engaging any airdrop task. Stay safe guys!

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / Re: Have you received your DOGS airdrop?
« on: September 01, 2024, 11:49:10 AM »
I believe that DOGS airdrop is the largest airdrop yet on this space. Most users like me got multiple DOGS reward from the farming bot 9over 100k allocation), binance deposit drop (20k token drop), blum task drop ($20 worth), telegram wallet earn reward ($25 worth) and bitget poolx (still earning there).

More DOGS will be claimed today via on-chain deposit from the telegrram bot via non-custodial wallet. Yet price action is fairly stable.

With the news that DOGS is home to 42.2 million telegram users, it's now apparent that this could arguably be the largest airdrop in the crypto space. But the next question is will it adequately incentivize majority of holders?

Every holder like me is looking for the best way to squeeze something extra from our limited allocation and trust exchanges to attempt to get more users through giveaways. If the expectation were high post-binance launchpool for the memecoin, we now expect those expectations to be at premium because of the "X" factor this launchpool brings. But how can users maximize their earnings now that it's gonna be "bigger" than we first thought.

A brief sample-sized opinion on twitter revealed that most holders are exploring their options to choose exchanges with the best offer of giveaways.

So, where do you think most holders will choose? Your insight here may help newbies in decision-making, you know!

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / What more from TON?
« on: August 14, 2024, 10:42:18 AM »
I was just wondering how did TON literally moved up in coin ranking to top 10 on CoinMarketCap (currently on #8). How did it amass about $17B mcap?

A lot has happened since TON blockchain graced the web3 ecosystem with most devs now preferring to build on the interoperable network. And after the grand success of Notcoin, TON has suddenly become the new bride of the web3 ecosystem. Just recently, we’ve seen partnership deals flying around for the network noticeably the TONNECT deal with Foresight Venture Capitalist and the popular Animoca brand; then it got listed on Binance.

With these development and success, there seems to be more buying pressure on the native token,TON. But how do we benefit from that? Do we accumulate more, play more Telegram mini-games, stake them or…….?

Always remember to DYOR before making any cryptocurrency investment.

Olycoin? That seems pretty new to me tho. I guess these miniapps could get to a thousand counts in record time haha. I'm almost getting choked with them these days trying to catch the trend and frenzy since the success of Notcoin. Maybe "your" Olycoin might bring something different; who knows!!

DeFi tokens / Re: How Really Does Crypto Savings Work
« on: July 10, 2024, 09:26:43 PM »
I have always thought of how the crypto sector works and while I try to compare it with the bank sectors, one aspect that often comes to mind is crypto savings. While I admit that the reason for crypto is gotten from the banking sector, but in this case the focus is decentralisation, we can't deny it.
Everything is clear and I agree that the bank has a store of value to reward savings, but how does the crypto sector get its own APR when realy it has higher returns compared to the savings in the bank? While banks do around 1% to 3% you see crypto savings give out 20%, is this to further discourage bank savings or it is because of the operating system if yes, then how?

Such high APR in crypto are not fixed (just to be clear). How do they get those high yield can be traced to the high lending rate against majorly BTC, ETH and USDT especially during the bull run where some of these assets can be traded or staked for more returns (since they are collaterals with fixed tenure). But they are real and you can try them; I think there's one currently on bitget with the same rate of 20% but can't say if it's fixed or not (better not expect that much tho).

I've been meaning to ask this question all along because lots of people have got different views on what is needed to be actively involved in crypto. Here are some of these tools mentioned:

1. Basic crypto knowledge
2. A reputable CEX for trading
3. A secure wallet for storage and other DeFi trades
4. A twitter account/ following verified crypto handles
5. A crypto mentor

Which of these do you think is not necessary or what else should be added as per basic tools?
Feel free to join the conversation...

My pf has always been a mix odf DeFi tokens, p2e tokens and reputable exchange at atime depending on the trend. For instance, ETH, MAVIA, SOL and BGB are my priorities for now
Are you sure with Mavia coin its new coins launch yesterday and had good progress price pump drastically since dropping around $2 and today breaking out to $8. For short term is not bad ideas investing in Mavia coin but I doubt your decision to invest with new coins exactly Mavia had platform with gaming coins difficult existing for long term. Many gaming coins platform have drop price drastically and be careful if you want make Mavia as long term investing coin exactly has raise higher price right now and still not many top exchange already for listing this coins.

Nah, not long term really. Gotta watch the price movement till it peaks, then take 75% of my investment out. For the rest, I'll also take profit from time to time; that's my strategy.

The mantra is "invest only what you can afford to loss" in crypto if you're a newbie. Although, my modus operandi is; if I'm well immersed in the project, I can actually invest more but not hugely. Also there are some defi activities that I can invest in too like liquidity provision and node running on blockchain.

KCGI is one of the biggest trading competition in the space where the best industry traders meet every year to compete for a huge prize pool. Though this is my first I intend participating as a team member, at the same time, I'm contemplating going in for futures rather than spot majorly because of the recent tides of the market. I feel TA could easily show the direction of the market in a bear like this.

Anyways, the prize pool for the competition this time around is huge(a total of $2.65million). This prize features:
1. an airbus
2. an iPhone 15 pro max
and other cash prizes.

Oh! Lest I forget, the competition is held by Bitget exchange!!

Looking at the increased technicalities in mastering trading techniques and also the overall sentiments/trends of the crypto markets right now, do you think a lot of people will prefer to trade via copy-trading?

Do you think a lot of people now think it's safer and more profitable relying on a professional traders running the trade for them?
