Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you refill your gambling budget
« on: April 26, 2025, 11:52:39 PM »
I am more of a passive gambler than an active one. I can go months without gambling
I'm also a similar type of gamer but from the time when I discovered online Poker games then I can't wait for months to go without it. I can wait a week and do participate in free contests but sometimes I do spend money on it and even if I lose I don't regret as that game is much enjoyable for me.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: bitcoin back at rising again

Considering the happenings in the Bitcoin market since the start of the year, I'm forced to agree with you that the current ATH of $108k isn't peak of the current cycle. Currently at a little over $95k, I strongly believe that there'll be a surge in the market that will force the price of Bitcoin to surpass the current ATH before the last quarter of the year.
That's fully true, there's chance that we might see another ATH before the last quarter of the year but I believe that we will see the peak of this cycle during the last quarter of the year. However, there's chance that we may see Bitcoin going bullish even in 2026.

I'm ready to do that for you. $50 a month is okay to work for 1h/day if there's no fix timing.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Mine Bitcoin or Just hold it?
« on: April 26, 2025, 12:32:16 AM »
If you are capable and the climate or atmosphere is cold where you live then you are still long-term, it is good to just mine and at least wait. Or it is also possible that even if you do not mine, just buy bitcoin and hold it long-term.
If someone who has more than $20k and at least a good location where he/she can keep those mining ASICS then one should consider mining as an option. For majority of people mining isn't going to be a good and viable option.

One has to take care of the machines as mining requires human effort and look after for it. The ones who invest don't really need much more than understanding the market, so I guess investing is a better option.

General Discussion / Re: Why do friend turn better than the other?

This is true, there is quote, "if hard work were to be recipe to become rich, labourers would be richest"
Yes, I like that quote and I believe the quote is written by a successful person who might had many laborers who worked for him but didn't reach any level of richness even in their old age. The ones who are smart, creative, and who understand about money are the ones who get richness and success not the ones who only rely on hard work.

Didn't you realize that airdrop participation has now grown huge? Maybe millions of people are familiar with airdrops so don't be surprised if airdrops aren't as big as they used to be.
To be honest, it's waste of time to go for airdrop farming. Instead of that one should sell candies as that is going to be more lucrative than farming airdrops. The share one gets is very low in value, in most cases less than $5 for 2-3 months hard activity.

I think I read somewhere about how the slots get filled up quickly and thus the reason they switched from using hash to bitmover’s tool.
Yes, it was a great decision to move to Bitmover's tool, that's one of the best tools ever for such contests or raffles. Thumbs up and +1 for Bitmover for creating such a useful tool.

It is not easy for SOLANA to reach $500 from the current price. After investing several billion dollars, it can reach $500. And billion dollars is not an easy thing.
You're right but we should also keep in mind that Donald Trump is fully interested in Solana and he has added it as part of Strategic reserve. So there's chance that we might see Solana at over $500 but the possibility is still low.

The Bitcoin market isn't controlled by a single entity.  Instead it's maintained by a decentralized network of computers around the world, known as Nodes, that works together that verify transactions and secure the network. And the price of Bitcoin is influence by market force, such as demand and supply.
Yes, Bitcoin's network is fully decentralized and it's not controlled by any single person or a group. The network is maintained by nodes and miners who contribute to the network. Even you can run a Bitcoin node and be part of the network. For that one has to download the whole blockchain and now a days the blockchain is very high in size and that's why one should have high storage in the system.

The best approach to avoid crypto wallet attacks is to save your crypto on offline and air gapped systems and go for cold wallets. That is the safest way to keep crypto currencies. However, If someone wants to keep crypto currencies in a system which gets online and needs those crypto for trading or for something else then that person should never ever install any software and that person should consider moving to open source operating system like Linux.

Certainly, if the person or group is still alive, they must be closely following all the development and use of BTC
It would be hard to miss
Yes, whether if there's a person or a group behind that Satoshi Nakamoto name, then that person or group is for most sure following all development updates of Bitcoin and that person or the group might feel blessed for the creation.

Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever try to stop gambling?
« on: April 25, 2025, 10:26:23 PM »
There are people that are making good amounts of money from gambling but can't stay away from gambling a day, those kind of people can be consider to be addicted to gambling because they can't do without it but they are not discuss well enough like the losers.
For me those people are also addicts and they should be considered as addicts as they're highly addicted to gambling. I know those people aren't losers and they're not the ones who sell their belongings to gamble but still they're addicted to it and if they don't gamble then they don't get any dopamine. But, in a way those aren't as bad as the ones who sell their belongings or who do robbery in order to gamble.

Gambling discussion / Re: when do you “refill” your budget
« on: April 25, 2025, 10:06:24 PM »
which one suits you better? and why?
Personally for me it's not a weekly or monthly budgeting. I set aside few dollars after sometime and play poker with those dollars and when I lose then I stop playing for a week or few weeks. I apply the same approach on sports betting as well.

That's why I never get addicted to gambling and enjoy the time when I play. I do withdraw my profits and set some amount from the profit to try again. So far from last few months I've not lost money in gambling but made something in it.

do you think bitcoin will continue to $90k?
I don't really know about those people who sold their Bitcoin as they really didn't understand the market at all. The last $108K wasn't the peak of this cycle and I always said and will always say that we will see the peak value of Bitcoin in this cycle during the last quarter of 2025.

Forum related / Re: New logo?
« on: April 25, 2025, 10:00:27 PM »
The new logo looks more professional and it's better than the previous logo I believe. It's more cleaner and created properly but I think it should look even better if T of talks might have same size font as A of altcoins.
