Nigerian Languages / Re: What do you think about the minimum wage?
« on: April 14, 2025, 08:31:09 PM »
Minimum wage! Who is talking about minimum wage whereas the goods/commodities in the market are on maximum prices. How many civil servants have received their so-called minimum wage? In a situation where there will be an increase in the minimum wage, some states will pay while some will not pay yet government is keeping quiet. Is it fair for the workers?

Oh! What a country, what a president, what a minimum wage.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Trump controls the market
« on: April 14, 2025, 09:14:48 AM »
I don't think Trump controls BTC price or market. If it is so, BTC would have reached $150k since he became the president. The price goes up and down. Meanwhile some years back during bull run, BTC price did not rise when it was expected rather towards the last quarter of that year.

BTC going back to $40k not possible. Since in the history of BTC and halving, after bull run it has not gone below last all time high.

As the writer rightly say " in present day Nigeria" education without skill is a bit dangerous. Most graduates are waiting for a white color jobs. Thousands of Nigerians graduates every year. No employment, no job, no new companies or new industries.
In my own point of view as a parent, I will like my kids to acquire skills before going to the university. Probably, the skill learnt before university might be of help during the school years.
Secondly, if there is no job after graduation, the kid will start making money from the skill without being a burden to the family or society.

Your opinion on this matter is true based on your perspective. In my own opinion, I think civil servants are better than business people. They have nothing to to lose in terms of rain or shine. Some people despiced the civil servants based on the organization they are working with. Those working with the oil companies, are they not better than the so-called business people. There are some ups and downs in business. Civil servant gets his/her salary every end of the month.

OP you made a nice decision by bringing this thread here. Making money online is good, and there are so many ways of making it. Some people may not know how to do it, yes. There are some people I know who had the opportunity to learn some online stuff to better their lives but they never accepted it. What they always say "online is scam". They have done MLM, proxy and didn't succeed. So, there is nothing you can tell them about online they will believe.

Nigerian Languages / Re: What if Bitcoin drop back then in 2018?
« on: February 28, 2024, 08:40:52 AM »
Boom!!! If Bitcoin drop go back the major way e dey before for 2018 , Bitcoin wen don reach high nearly $20,000 before e drop to below $3,000 by the end of the year . If Bitcoin drop to this level again,  e go cause wahala among investors, leading to further drop in price of the Bitcoin and other crypto currencies.e fit cause the crypto market to crash that's na wahala for all investors be that oo.

I no sure say bitcoin go back as low as below $3k in 2018. The awareness, the dynamics, the investors are more advanced now than before. De last bull run ATH was around $69k and it no go dat low. Now dey neva do halving, see de price wetin go make am go dat low? Ino sure it fit happen.

« on: February 25, 2024, 06:55:50 PM »
No be small thing oo. For my area now na another thing. Everything in the market dey rise per minute. If you enter any shop, the owner go first make call before en go tell you price. Before you pay en go call another shop owner to know if price don change.

You dey talk of show update, is only for person wey dey crypto. Our people want quick cash.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Do you guys think Litecoin is worth buying now?
« on: February 21, 2024, 06:00:56 AM »
To be candid, I can't invest in Lite coin. I can't even advice someone to do so. In 2017, lite coin was number three on the list. Since that time till now it is still struggling to reach $70. If you invest in it how are you sure it will increase up to 10% during this bull run? For some time now, the price has been stagnant. Invest wisely.

« on: February 21, 2024, 05:35:51 AM »
Na wetin we see for our country. You wake up dollar change price, you go to market goods change price na wetin you buy yesterday be that o. OP, you dey talk of people wey dey earn in dollar is still dey affect them. The people I dey pity most na dey people wey be state government workers. The ones wey dey never pay minimum wage. There own worst past.
