Man United are having one of the worst seasons in recent years when it comes to the league position. It looked for a moment that their new manager, Ruben Amorim could turn things around, but the signs of improved performance were short-lasting. United haven't won any of their last 5 Premier League games.
Athletic Bilbao currently occupies high 4th place in La Liga, but there's a big gap between them and Real or Barcelona (12 and 16 points respectively), so they're not quite on the same level as the top 2.
Despite their poor recent performance, Man United are still a slight favourite to qualify to the final, with odds of x1.84 (Bilbao: x1.93). That's probably because the Premier League is ranked higher than La Liga, and because of the fact that, after a failed Premier League season, United will be extra motivated to focus on the Europa League.
Also, United's main problem is inconsistency, but they have a decent squad, and if they play at their 100%, they can put up a good fight even against the top teams.

As the 1st leg games of the semi-finals are concluded, here are the updated odds for the outright Champions League winner (by BC.Game):
PSG: x2.25
Barcelona: x3.5
Inter: x4.5
Arsenal: x8.0

So we have a bit strange situation, when Barcelona is no longer the favourite to win, but, at the same time, they are still the favourite to qualify to the final. This is either likely due to the bookies being impressed by PSG's performance or, most likely, because of PSG's chances of qualifying are higher than Barcelona's.
If we see the final between Barcelona and PSG, I'm sure Barcelona will be the favourite.

Odds for Arsenal are looking pretty attractive. Obviously I wouldn't recommend betting any significant amounts, but putting a few bucks on them could be worth it.

another rematch, why not? i like this two because they can really make people sit on the edge to wait for whats going to happen in the middle when they clash. the last best fight we have seen from Max is with Gaethje.

Max pointing the floor with Dustin might just be one of the biggest fight as well. i'm sure dana would love to see a big KO happening between the two, whoever it is, the fight will be appreciated by fans.

It will be the trilogy.
I too like this match-up, despite some guys on other forum complaining about it.
Given that Dustin decided to fight only once before retirement, that's probably the best possible option. And there will be something on the line there for Dustin, the BMF belt. Maybe he could win it and toss it in the bin, so we can see an end to that retarded idea.

The result might seem pretty bad for Barcelona, but considering they were down 2-0, the 3-3 actually looks like a small success.
Strangely enough, Barcelona is still the favourite to qualify according to bookies, and I agree with that. They dominated the game and created more scoring chances, Inter was just exceptionally good in converting their chances into goals.

Shame Lewandowski is out due to a hamstring injury. He contributed a lot to Barcelona's success this season, so it would be nice to see him in the final games.

For those who missed the game, here are the highlights (5 mins), it's worth it:

It's almost like PSG found a formula for beating English clubs. First Liverpool, then Aston Villa, now they are halfway through of eliminating Arsenal.
It was an even game, but I think it's fair to say that PSG deserved the win, as they created more and better chances. Arsenal looked decent, they even scored an equaliser but it got denied due to offside. It just wasn't enough, though.
Looking at Home/Away stats for both teams in their respective leagues, it seems like both of them are performing almost equally at home as they do in away games. This means the home advantage for PSG might not be as big of a factor as some would expect, and this is still anyone's game.

Why didn't anybody tell me that Max Holloway is fighting Dustin Poirier at UFC 318 in July? I just noticed that in the events, but I don't recall hearing about that before.
They fought twice before, and Poirier came up victorious both times. In their first fight, Dustin served Max his only submission loss in his career; the second time around, Dustin won by decision.
Despite losing to Topuria, Max still holds the BMF belt, so there's something on the line there, so that's some motivation for Dustin and winning it would be a perfect ending to his career (I believe this is supposed to be his last fight). However, I wouldn't be very surprised if Dustin decides to keep fighting for a little bit longer if he were to defeat Max effortlessly.
It will be a good show.

That's 3 out of 3 El Clásicos wins for Barcelona this season, with another one (League game) underway. Both teams will meet again two weeks from now in Barcelona. I don't expect the result will be any different, unless Barcelona has a safe points advantage over Real and gets overly relaxed.

That was the 32nd Copa del Rey win for Barcelona, who are number one in the ranking of the most cup wins, with Athletic Bilbao being 2nd (with 24 wins).

Barcelona are well set to win the league and they are a favourite to win the Champions League. If they were to achieve that, that could be one of the best, if not the best, seasons in the club's history. I don't think they ever won that many trophies in one season before.

Regarding Dortmund's chances for the 4th place:
Freiburg is almost guaranteed to lose at least one game as they are playing against Leverkusen and Eintracht.
Leipzig is playing against Bayern, so also likely to lose points.

Dortmund has a big chance of jumping into the 4th place, but the big question is whether Leverkusen will play at their 100% and if not, will they also go easy on Freiburg?
There are some theories that some clubs sometimes give other teams favours and expect them to return them later. Also, from the wider Bundesliga perspective, having Dortmund in the Champions League instead of Freiburg or Leipzig is much more preferred for German football as a whole.

It's official. After destroying Tottenham 5-1, Liverpool hav won the league. They only needed one point but didn't waste the opportunity to get it done in style.
This is their 20th championship, meaning they now share the number 1 place in the top titles wonwith Manchester United.

We still have one outstanding match of the matchday 34. The match between Nottm Forest and Brentford is scheduled on Thu evening. Forest are now placed 6th, but a win would put them back in the 3rd place.

Anthony Smith lost to Zhang Mingyang and announced his retirement. He never made it to the top but he had a good career. Smith is not even that old, he's 36, so younger than many of the top light heavyweights, but I guess he knows best when it's time to call it a day.
I've learned that Mingyang is on 12 wins streak, all of them finished within the 1st round. Obviously he hasn't fought any big names yet (other than Smith), but he's a rising threat to the top guys, especially the ones at advanced age. Win over Smith will probably place him in the last place of the top 15, which should open the door for him to fight high-profile fighters.

Garry Vs Prates was a bit weird. Prates lost by decision, but it looked like he could bag a TKO win if he got all out in round 5. Referee was ready to stop the fight if he landed one/two more punches when he had Garry on the ground, but he hesitated (or had his gas tank empty), which cost him a win and broke his 11 win streak.

The end of the season is approaching fast, but we still have 6 teams with real chances for the 2nd and 3rd places. Currently the difference between the 2nd place and 7th place is only 2 points. Obviously Marseille and Lille both have one game played less than the others.
Marseille are playing Brest tomorrow at home. Odds (per BC.GAME) are:
Marseille: x1.48
Draw: x4.8
Brest: x6.0

Lille is playing away against Angers, with odds as follows:
Angers: x6.4
Draw: x4.0
LOSC: x1.54

I expect Marseille to win, as they have a home advantage and their motivation should be higher than Brest, who don't have much to play for anymore.
Angers might not be a strong team, but they are dangerously close to the relegation zone, so they'll take the game 100% seriously. Lille tend to perform much better at home, so home advantage could play a big role too. I probably wouldn't be betting on Lille in this one.

No games today as the ones originally scheduled for today have been pushed back to tomorrow/Monday to not collide with the funeral of Pope Francis. That's a nice move and I respect the decision.

Tomorrow we'll see Inter clash at home with Roma. Inter is obviously a favourite but Roma should not be underestimated. They are on 19 league games undefeated run, during which they played with really tough teams. I think it's likely that Inter could split points with them tomorrow, which would be great news for Napoli, who are a clear favourite in their home match against Torino (currently ranked 10th).
With 5 games to go, things are getting pretty interesting.

Dortmund didn't disappoint. They struggled a bit against Hoffenheim, and needed 5 minutes of the stoppage time to score the winning goal, but a win is a win.
They are now 6th in the table, they overtook Mainz and got closer to Leipzig, who got demolished 4-0 by Eintracht. They are still 3 points behind the 4th Freiburg, but Freiburg is playing Leverkusen next, so there's a chance they could catch up with them.

Bayern defeated Mainz easily 3-0. They are playing an away game against Leipzig next weekend, and they will have a chance to secure their championship. They either need a win, if Leverkusen also wins, but if Leverkusen loses points against Freiburg, Bayern will celebrate regardless of the result of their Leipzig match.

14
It was an even game and Everton had a few great chances but they're coming home with nothing, as it was Chelsea who scored the only goal.
Those 3 points put Chelsea in the 5th place, at least until tomorrow. Now the pressure is on Nottm Forest, who are hosting Brentford (currently ranked 11th) tomorrow.
Forest's performance have been a bit disappointing recently, with losses to Villa and Everton. They won their last game against Tottenham, but they let the London team dominate the game and Nottm only made 4 shots on goal, which was pretty low even taking into account their unconventional playing style.

Liverpool are all set to celebrate the championship tomorrow. All they need is at least one point against Tottenham to seal the deal.

Last chance to place bets on tonight's event.
Odds for the main card are as follows:

Aliskerov, Ikrom x1.2 Vs Muniz, Andre x4.2
Elder, Evan x1.47 Vs Young, Gauge x2.55
Schnell, Matt x1.6 Vs Flick, Jimmy x2.25
Brown, Randy x1.33 Vs Dalby, Nicolas x3.1
Pereiro, Michel x1.67 Vs Magomedov, Abusupiyan x2.1
Chikadze, Giga x2.4 Vs Onama, David x1.52
Smith, Anthony x3.85 Vs Zhang, Mingyang x1.23
Garry, Ian x1.65 Vs Prates, Carlos x2.15

Garry is taking a gamble by fighting Prates, who is ranked 13th. He doesn't have much to win and a lot to lose.
Prates may have 6 losses in his record, but he's undefeated since 2019. He's on an 11 win streak and has 10 straight KO/TKO finishes, which is pretty impressive.
