The Crypto industry is a very large space with different ways to enrich it's users which most of us here knows about. I once read a post concerning how we could make money in the Crypto world and various thoughts from different users triggered me to create this topic What aspect of Crypto is likely Gambling?

Most individuals compares crypto trading to Gambling, others compares crypto airdrops (P2E, A.K.A Tap-Tap) to gambling. While some still compare the likes of presales, ICO's, Investing in memecoins, pump and dump schemes etc to gambling.

Though most users do their personal comparison but in this present, what aspect of Crypto can be equated to gambling?

Crypto is not gambling but if we do it without prior information, like with no information about how crypto works, we are doing trading that's like gambling but unlike gambling, trading with no information becomes more risky because in gambling no one is using knowledge they are playing luck vs luck but here one is trading with full knowledge and other is not.

This way the risk is more, counting tap tap airdrops gambling is a valid point for those who invests in such projects although now they all are dead by now. I don't find the same hype of such airdrops after the result of paws.

I think that even if people did not believe in these things until now, now they will at least say that they believe in the 2025 altcoin season because they considered the previous correction to be the beginning of the bear season. And now, seeing the green line of the market, I am reminded again that the bull season and altcoin season are coming.
I think that those who have this kind of mind set are the ones who make more mistakes in trading investments and the amount of loss is also higher. So I think that they should keep themselves stable by analyzing a specific strategy or else lose control of their emotions and make the wrong decision and lose.

The current uptrend surely raises hopes among investors but nothing is permanent here. Just like the market dumped in a blink of an eye same it can dump again although it pumped in a blink of an eye too. Market is too volatile but hoping it will recover again is a good hope but we should hope on some solid base.

Although still there is a chance for another ATH which many calls second round of BTC and before that altseason will come which has not yet came according to many but I think many alts already made huge returns and I think that was the altseason we all were waiting but never saw it.

Just like you I also don't have enough liquidity to make the trip I never been to any similar events before because I never had that enough liquidity. few times there were small local events in my countries but I was unable to make trip there because I did not knew about them on time.

This event looks very good and there is no doubt that these events open new information to many, but I saw their website and how they have planned each and everything and I also saw many projects planning to join it.

I agree not to make investment as a bet, because we must have clear thinking and be able to control emotions. because bad emotions will affect our focus and decision making in investing in crypto. It all requires sufficient knowledge and experience.
The longer we are involved in the world of crypto investment. The calmer we are in facing all situations.

That's truewith more time in crypto we will be more calm but for some they don't remain calm they panic even many are regretting in this dump by taking it the final dump and they sold their BTC even while the long term holders and dip buyers are the only ones happy now.

Emotions will always get into our way either we have 1 month of experience of 1 year of experience there is no way of saving ourselves from this but only we can become a little better with time but market is so cruel that it breaks everyone.

I don't think that DeFi will take over traditional banks or it will be a challenge to traditional banks, because it's not everyone that would invest in cryptocurrency. However, the volatile nature of crypto is a challenge to DeFi unlike traditional fiat currency. It's only people that are open minded to new development and technology that can key into the cryptospace. We only have few of these people compared to the world population that uses traditional banking system.

Defi will never take over traditionl bank, because traditional bank are of governments and government is itself supporting defi for example Trump's World Liberty Financial project and many other Defi fundings that many governments and big companies made indicates that Defi have full support of these banks indirectly.

This has become a very big narrative and it will bring more partnerships very soon. Traditional banks system will remain in their place and do their work while Defi will do their while combination can be better.
