Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading Mentors = Scammer?
« on: April 14, 2025, 07:46:01 PM »
Having a mentor, especially if you are just starting out in crypto or bitcoin, can tell you how lucky you are, especially if it is given to you for free. But there are others who attend so-called trading courses, although there are others who have attended many seminars about trading or trading courses on webinars, even though they paid, it seems like they have not learned anything.

So that means studying trading should be taken seriously, because if we do it this way, even without a mentor, you will definitely learn or you will be ahead of those who studied trading with a mentor, but they are not as serious because they do not absorb what they have learned.

What you say is okay, op, and I also think that it will still add to the knowledge of others here as reminders, although I know there are many other reasons why some traders do not make progress in this crypto industry.

And one of them is not to be greedy, this is the usually common thing that really happens why other traders lose, but if they do not become greedy,
then for sure they will get a profit in the end.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you still believe in Presales?

I think there are still sensible and potential pre-sales if we are just being researching, that's why there are still others who are making a profit from pre-sales, though they will wait a while before it is listed but they are sure that their investments here will not be wasted.

But of course, you still need to be extra careful because I can't deny that most pre-sales are also scams by the developers who are doing this in the crypto space.

Philippines (Filipino) / Re: SSS or Crypto?
« on: April 14, 2025, 07:09:15 PM »

« on: June 19, 2024, 02:07:53 PM »

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Predict BTC price at Halving
« on: March 13, 2024, 09:59:32 PM »
Quote
I will simple linear regression method with data of BTC Close price in the month of Halving in 2012, 2016 and 2020.
BTC Close price is predicted in May 2024 to be $77.5K, which means that BTC will create a new peak immediately after the BTC Spot ETF is approved, which is really bullish.

This 77500$ looks like it will happen sooner; I think it might be the month of March until it finally happens. Because we can't say that other investors will suddenly sell a percentage of their holdings and then pay back again as if nothing happened, you know what that means.

Although right now, if I look at the market's ranking, I have noticed for a few days that just a few days from now, Bitcoin will start to rise in the market, as well as the top cryptos, for sure, so I'm still a bit cautious and careful about what we will do as holders.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Invest & Hodl Bitcoin!!
« on: March 13, 2024, 09:43:32 PM »
There are many users who invest in Bitcoin and do not plan to hold it for a long time but have a short term plan. People who make short term plans have never been able to make huge profits that's why I would advise them to invest for long periods and Hodl. When you buy bitcoins you must plan to make high profits so you should always Hodl on to bitcoins.

We have seen Bitcoin's price rise a lot in 2023, but it has seen a lot of growth towards the end. Moreover, those who invested at the beginning of last year have now made double profits and they have not bought their bitcoins yet but plan to hold them until the maximum ATH. We've seen many pundits predict that Bitcoin's price will peak in 2025 and reach an all-time high. Accordingly, we will see a bull market and therefore buy and hold bitcoins instead of selling them, but we can make huge profits. As we have not much time left to wait for the other half, I think buying and holding bitcoins for long-term investment now will certainly yield good returns in the future. So you hold your bitcoins safe and wait till the bull season can change your life.

If you only base it on the short term, don't expect to get a huge profit there. Unless the profit you get there in the short term is not moved or used, instead you will just accumulate it like dca that comes out in the long term.

And the only people who usually do that are scalpers or day traders. If it gives you a passive income, it's good to continue doing that, but if not, it depends on the strategy that you will use, of course.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Are you using Hardware Wallets?
« on: March 13, 2024, 09:25:32 PM »
Hardware wallets are much safer option for holding your cryptocurrencies, and there are many options to choose but they are not perfect.

If you are using hardware wallet please tell us the model you have.

If you don't use any hardware wallet can you please state your reasons why.

Honestly speaking, in my few years in the cryptocurrency business industry, I haven't bought anything because I haven't prioritized it yet. The only ones I can use right now are Metamask, Electrum, Klver, Sometimes Trustwallet, and Mycelium, and a USB flash drive where the private key and seed phrases are saved in three flash drives.

But when I get a lot of money, I will also buy hardware because, of course, it's still nice to have an HD wallet, to be honest.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: KYC bad decision?
« on: March 13, 2024, 09:08:28 PM »
In my personal opinion, the only thing that worries others about why they don't want to give KYC is that there is only one reason, and that is that they don't want to know their identity, or it could also be that they think it might be used for bad things by someone else asking for it.

But as some say, we cannot give it if you are hesitating, as long as you are at the exchange. You should be known in this industry and have several years of existence in this field of business. Don't give kyc to an exchange that is unknown and new to the crypto space.

Philippines (Filipino) / Re: GCash IPO
« on: January 24, 2024, 07:00:33 AM »

https://bitpinas.com/fintech/gcash-ipo-targeted/

Basta ba meron tayong pagkakakitaan why not diba?
