Gambling discussion / Re: Learn to play or it remains luck?
« on: April 27, 2025, 11:17:52 PM »
If you are going to play the casino slot games then there is nothing but just some simple step to learn a casino slot games and I also think those are not the rocket science what a person won't able to learn in few weeks or month or years.Even if it takes a  long maybe it could maximumly 1 or 2days for learning.
So I do think that it always remains on uck not in any others things. But scenario can be change if you are going for the sports betting. But there is also the end result always depend on the luck.

I don't think we still need to study and learn how to play slots? Isn't it just as simple as betting and then play with no other buttons except bonus, increase, and reduce bets?

It should need to learn just deposit and it is ready to play even a kid can play in slots without studying to learn it in a day.

Maybe in sports betting you need to learn first how to gamble in sports betting and how to analyze the game before betting, but in slots it's very simple: deposit, then tap the play button, and you're ready to win or lose.
Everything in slots are based on luck. That is why the majority of us lose in slots; it's because of greediness and no satisfaction. They thought if they already made 100% of the deposit amount, they could make more wins. It's pretty bad the result is negative if you do that honestly; we should be satisfied with 100% profit. Look at traders who do risk management they are satisfied even if the coin they trade increases 3%. They are satisfied.

Unless you are gambling for fun, there's no problem if you still keep playing even if you already win more than 100% of your capital. The same goes for sports betting; the only difference is the odds given from bookmakers are low if you choose the right team or player, but still, this is still based on luck no matter how you analyze the game. What we only do in sports betting is analyze the probability to increase your confidence in your bets.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What if the airdrop is gone forever?
« on: April 27, 2025, 10:58:41 PM »
There's a big help from airdrops; this is the way they promote their projects and introduce crypto. I saw many people today talking about crypto; the first thing they knew was some airdrops like Hamster Combat before they deeply explored crypto.

So if this is going to be gone in the future, new generations can't easily find the crypto world. However, since we're talking about fake projects and frauds, if airdrops are gone, it will help reduce scammers and falling into these schemes. It might also help to filter out scam and legit projects.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BitcoinMeter app 100k?
« on: April 27, 2025, 10:23:59 PM »
Currently there's a huge resistance level at the $96k zone; if the price breaks that area, possibly the price could reach the $100k level.

I check the app; it looks like it also has a buy and sell signal, and by checking this signal in a 15-minute time frame, it looks like it uses an SMC strategy. Based on his buy signal, the current price has already touched the bullish FVG where the app is suggesting to buy in that area and exit to the bearish FVG.
Other signals are pointing to order blocks and exit to recent FVG.

This isn't AI-generated; it looks like it was made by a trader with his live trading history using SMC or ICT strategy.

It's understandable for beginners because they may be too naive and not aware of phishing sites, as well as other tricks that scammers use. But if an experienced user falls for phishing, it's usually only due to his or her haste and inattention. In other words, experienced users are most often themselves to blame for the loss of funds, and the only thing left to do is to learn from it.

Generally, before using a new crypto service, you are expected to do your own research on the service to find its domain name, description, and history. Just to make sure you know exactly what you're dealing with. Especially if you're about to send it thousands of dollars in one go. Just saying. :)
They do deep research first and double or triple-check the site first to see if it's phishing or not before using it since we're talking about a big amount to send, so I believe most people don't want to lose such a big amount, and asking experienced users is a must.

People nowadays are smart even with a small amount I believe they also do research first if they are unfamiliar with the site or service they plan to use, they consult with experienced users before to proceed.

Bulls season is still long, many people panic when they see bitcoin price drop below $80K and they think this is the beginning of altcoin season. even though altcoin season has not arrived.
based on the 4-year cycle habit, it looks like altcoin season will arrive at the end of Q2 or early Q3 this year.
so we should keep holding our potential coins

We are still not in the bull season; the downtrend line on the upper band is not yet broken. BTC is still inside the downtrend unless the BTC price breaks the $86k level; we are on the uptrend.

But currently the price is in a consolidation phase; the price is still at the $90k level. The price is still undecided. If there's good news, maybe it can break the $96k and go into an uptrend, but if not, we are still in the bearish season.

About altcoin season, if you didn't notice, some old coins that launched last 2021 just recently jumped to more than 100%.
What I see on altcoin season is it needs the help of the BTC to pump their price. Look at the BTC dominance every week; it increases, so if BTC just pumps a bit, other altcoins jump in price x10 to x100.

My estimation for altcoin season is that it will start around July or August. For now, I saw some old coins that I monitor just pump recently, so there are some investors who are already investing some, I guess, to be ready for altcoin season.

This is nothing but a typing mistake. I don't know if there is an easier or more effective way to hold Bitcoin except DCA. It is the only best strategy for those who want to accumulate Bitcoin regularly without any stress in the long term.
DCA is only good for long term holding and you know how to do DCA.
Because if you randomly buy BTC even it is not in the demand zone then you miss those opportunity and you might get a negative profit in the long run.
Imagine you buy BTC at $90k and hold it for a month. The following month, the price increase to $100k you buy again and hold but after that month the price drops to $80k and you make a loss.

That's not the right way to do DCA you still need to analyze the chart a bit and apply DCA. Only buy BTC when it drop and tap to the demand zone or support area.

I knew OM before, I think around 2021, but I wasn't interested at that time because I didn't see any potential.
However, after checking this current price action the price started to surge around January 2024 and reached $9 in January, then suddenly dropped.

The weird part is, from a $9 drop to $0.5, it is more likely a rug pull. How is this possible?
I don't see any bad news about them, but the drop is massive. What I see here the developers of Manta seems holding a large amount of them and then suddenly sold their holdings and then exited.

I search a bit, and it seems that most people say that this coin is a scam. I can't blame them because I saw the same thing.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is crypto staking risky?
« on: April 25, 2025, 07:11:18 PM »
The reason for staking Bitcoin or some altcoin is not necessarily because of the high APR/APY rates in my opinion. There are people who may planned holding some notable altcoins for long term, these holders may stake their altcoins portfolio without paying attention to the market trends, that is, the market  ups/down movements, or dumps. Long term Holders may stake their coin/tokens whether there are high or low APR/APY to enhance their investments and receive some passive income while holding.

I don't know if there's staking in BTC exchanges that offer this, but these days, after the price surge, the rates are pretty low; it drops below 1%. Binance offers this staking with Bitcoin, but it's not worth it because you need to hold it for 3 months. We do not know what the price of BTC will be after 3 months, and since we're talking about 1% APY, it means in 3 months you can only get 0.25% of the amount you stake. The problem is if the price drops more than 0.25%, it's not worth it, and it's possible when you exchange your BTC that you stake, you could lose more than that when the current market condition is bearish.

Maybe staking in BTC is worth it if you know after 3 months or the end of the staking the price of BTC is higher than what you expected.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading is not same thing as Gambling
« on: April 25, 2025, 02:19:58 PM »
~snip~
Then their funds will not be lost quickly when they conduct their trading activities in the spot. While in gambling, everything is almost the opposite of trading.
Even if they don't study, they can win a large amount if they get lucky.

However, gambling is way riskier than trading in futures since you are able to analyze the price action and know where to enter and exit. The possible profit if we compared them on slots if you analyze the market well, you can also make a huge profit in trading; some swing traders can even make a 1:10 to 1:20 risk ratio. The only advantage of gambling is that if you are lucky, you could make more than 600 times your bets.

About on the spot trading, you need to be patient here; buy only at a cheaper price and hold it for a long period of time. You could make a large profit on some new coins newly listed on the market because the volatility is high, but it is riskier than holding Bitcoin.
Since Bitcoin is less risky, we know if there's positive news about Bitcoin expect for an incoming price surge. Buy in the support area; if it fails and breaks, we can DCA and buy again at the next support area. That is simple DCA you can also do this on a bullish trend; just always make sure to buy in the retail zone or where the price drop or where the demand zone is it is far from gambling, where you could lose the whole capital. The same goes to futures.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin Too Expensive For Me?
« on: April 25, 2025, 02:09:40 AM »
Bitcoin is definitely expensive for me, especially since I have no other source of income, so it's impossible for me to budget for Bitcoin. After paying my monthly salary and paying my family and personal expenses, I have nothing left to invest in Bitcoin. So Bitcoin has become expensive for me.

I don't think it's expensive. Do you think if the price keeps surging, it will never be cheap so if you wait for more years, you will never be able to see a cheaper price below $80k, and it might stay in the $100k zone?

If your monthly salary wasn't enough because of expenses, that is not the reason why Bitcoin is expensive; the reason is you don't have a budget to buy Bitcoin.

Why not look for extras like joining campaigns or bounties, or you can join in some contests like price prediction and get rewarded? There are many out there, so don't lose hope.

In 2014, I have earn some Bitcoins, so I created a paper address that time, but I forget to move them but I keep my paper wallet. And then in 2017, I remember it and so when I get back to see, there's none only the addresses.
~snip~

What do you mean none only the addresses?
Are all funds from your backup gone? It seems similar to mine, actually, I've been holding mine since 2015 until 2020. Around that year I saw the momentum in BTC—no downfall; it keeps increasing. That is why I checked my old hard drive where I save my offline backups, but after opening it and checking the address on an online PC, I saw nothing in my wallet. I can't remember if I already withdrew my balance, but I believe I never touched my funds there since 2015.
So I missed that opportunity to sell last 2021, when the BTC reached the new ATH and it was pandemic time. I regret holding it. I should transfer them into a much safer wallet generated from the Bitcoin Core wallet than any 3rd-party wallet.

There are lots of mistakes in trading that's why you need to dicipline your self and follow your trading rules.

You can't avoid mistakes that's normal what you need to focus is risk management Protect your capital at all costs, reduce your trades, and avoid overtrading; instead, choose quality trades.
