With CL's first leg already over, focus now is on the Europa League. Your bets are in yet?

Tottenham are understandably the huge favorite @1.30 against Bodo/Glimt @8.80. The only reason I see that the home team will lose this game is if they play with overconfidence.

Man United currently the underdog @3.85 while Bilbao @2.10. I have no idea how this will turn out but this will most likely produce more drama and excitement.
For Tottenham Hotspur, I think they'll be playing their first European final since they lost Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League final in 2019. Bodo/Glimt have been impressive this season in the Europa League which is why I'll not totally write them off however, I'm of the opinion that Tottenham Hotspur will get the better of them in the two-legged tie.
For Manchester United against Athletic Bilbao, it's a difficult tie to predict if you ask me and that's why I'll concentrate on that tie to see how the actions unfoldd

What a great game played by Barca and Inter but an unfortunate one for Sommer ;D Regardless of the team you support here, you'll appreciate how both teams fought. Different approach to the game but both were effective in scoring goals. I cannot wait for the second game which could be decided by a single goal or a penalty shootout.
Barcelona dominated tonight's game no doubt but I think they were lucky to avoid defeat. Inter Milan knew they'll be outplayed if they come out and attack Barcelona so they decided to sit back and go for counter attacks which I think was a good game plan for them. The second leg which will take place at San Siro next week will be a difficult game for both sides but if you ask me, I think Inter Milan is more likely to edge past Barcelona

Bitcoin Forum / Re: will bitcoin ever not be volatile?
« on: April 30, 2025, 05:49:05 PM »
The question posed by the OP have been ringing in the mind of many Bitcoiners since the recent widespread adoption by different institutions in the world. Greater global adoption of Bitcoin off course is one of the factors that could reduce the volatility of Bitcoin but it'll surely not make it disappear.

As Bitcoin continue to mature, volatility is expected to decline but it is very likely retain some due to some of it's distinctive properties as well as it's role as a decentralized alternative to conventional fiat

In 2013, the US government introduced some policies and regulations that limited the use of Bitcoin as it was then labelled as "tool for criminals". Fast-forward to 12 years later, they same government have not just made new policies that encourages Bitcoin but have also invested in it through the Bitcoin Reserve. If the most powerful government in the world can adopt Bitcoin after initially kicking against it, you should draw your conclusions from there to know that Bitcoin in the future will be too global for EU not to adopt it. Personally, I feel it's just a matter of time for EU and other powerful governmental bodies to adopt Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is TRUMP controlling BTC growth?
« on: April 30, 2025, 04:57:22 PM »
I believe the markets moved on from Trump a while ago. They basically peaked when he became president and that's about it. There hasn't been anything particularly interesting on that front as of late besides tariffs, and everyone knows how those are turning out with China. But you don't need to worry as Bitcoin will eventually recover from all this on its own, with little outside intervention.
Anyone who understands the Bitcoin network and how it works will know that the recent effects of Trump policies on the price of Bitcoin falls under the fundamental analysis factor and doesn't translate to Bitcoin being controlled by Donald Trump. Even Donald Trump knows that he can't control Bitcoin despite being the president of the country with the largest economy in the world. He can only influence the price with his policies and those influence wouldn't even have a lasting effect on Bitcoin. Bitcoin is decentralized and will continue to be.

For daily and weekly traders, Bitcoin isn't the best coin to trade and that's because of it's less volatility nature when compared to altcoins so in order to make gains, they most times do not trade Bitcoin since it's very unlikely to increase up to 30-100 in a day or in a week but for long-term investors, trading Bitcoin is very safer as theirs chances of suffering loss is very low.

For me, choosing which coin to trade is mostly influenced by the timeframe. I trade Bitcoin for long-term tradings and alt for short-term trading but because I'm more of a long-term trader, it's safe to say that I trade Bitcoin more than altcoins.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: How do you choose a trading mentor?
« on: April 30, 2025, 01:42:50 PM »
The point is when we have a trading mentor, whoever it is, it must be balanced with our willingness and ability to follow it. because if we are not enthusiastic enough and complain about the journey that exists, it will not be successful. if we do not want to learn seriously, it will fail.
Exactly. Having a trading mentor is not enough requirement to becoming successful in your tradings but you must have enough enthusiasm and total willingness to follow his guidelines in your trading activities. That way, you'll be able to gain from the rich trading knowledge of your mentor. For you to be successful in trading, you must show total commitment in your tradings and one of the ways to show commitment is to follow every instruction of your mentor

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What to expect from BTC
« on: April 29, 2025, 11:51:51 PM »
There's a whole lot of positivities to expect from Bitcoin especially now that the bull run is expected to kick off soon. Apart from the fact that we're expecting a new ATH before the end of the year, we're also expecting that the people who lost money during the recent dip are going to recover their money and still make profits from their investments

Before I started investing in Bitcoin, I tooky time to understand Bitcoin, the progress it's made since it was launched, the potentials it posseses as the mother coin and came to final conclusions that Bitcoin isn't just a coin but a lifestyle. Learning about Bitcoin before investing in it made me make peace with the risks involved and because I know that I stand a better chance of gaining more in Bitcoin, the potential risks didn't discourage me.

The aspect of crypto that's mostly considered as gambling is trading. Just like gambling, trading heavily rely on speculations, again, the outcome of trading is also uncertain just like gambling. Another factor that makes many people consider trading as gambling is because it also triggers psychological behaviors like greed, fear, overconfidence which most times leads to impulsive decisions.

That said, it is worthy to note that trading is better and a very professional skill unlike gambling

Simply analysis of the cycles in the Bitcoin network will strongly suggests that bull  run this year and considering the recent wide adoption of Bitcoin by institutional bodies across the globe, it's very safe to say that bull run is very certain to happen this year. The only uncertainty here is when it'll happen but since we're already in the second quarter of the year, experts are suggesting the Q4. Personally, I think the market is will be bullish before the last quarter of the year

Bitcoin price is $93,890 and it's hard to predict with certainty whether it will go Below $90 before tomorrow due to the fluctuating price of Bitcoin. What your thought on this.
Firstly, I don't think there's any need to create a topic asking if we "think Bitcoin will drop below $90k before tomorrow". I personally do not think that there's any positive impact this topic is gonna have on members of the forum.
That said, it's important for you to know that deep analysis of the market strongly suggests that Bitcoin is currently consolidating on the $90k+ price level. Again, analysis also indicate that Bitcoin is currently more likely to move the uptrend direction than the downtrend so I don't see Bitcoin going below $90k in the next 24 hours at least

Different countries in the world have distinct law, governing digital asset, despite bans or restrictions, transactions still occurs. How do these transactions occur despite regulatory challenges.
Transacting via crypto used to be illegal in my country before now but the current administration governing the nation have fully approved cryptocurrency activities so it's no longer a difficult or illegal engagement. That said, people in the crypto community during the time crypto transactions were banned were still able to maneuver the system and make their transactions just that it was kept confidential amongst us to avoid facing the consequences of engaging in government banned activities

Of course losing a player can have an impact, but I see them still being able to fill the void when Lewandowski can't play or is not performing well.

Rapinha for example, she can have a good role in the team and that can be a weapon that Barcelona can use when they don't have Lewandowski in the team. But this is if we only talk about one side, because the opponent certainly has an impact too.
Barcelona is having a great season with most of the players doing exceptionally well so even without Robert Lewandowski, it's expected that they can win against Real Madrid. That said, Real Madrid have lost the two games they've played against Barcelona this season and today, I'll be backing them to win the Copa Del Rey final in the third El Classico of the season

Well, I no longer expect much from Juventus this season. What I hope is that Juventus can shop for better forward players in the next transfer market. Don't let this team lose one good player and not get a better replacement.

I think I can predict which team will win and win the trophy in the competition in the Coppa Italia final between AC Milan vs Bologna.  ;D
Despite sacking Thiago Motta, Juventus are still struggling and I don't even expect them to do much again this season. They'll have a busy summer if they truly want to improve the club.
About who's going to win the Coppa Italia, I would've fully backed AC Milan to go all the way but at the moment, I also think Bologna can win it. It's a tight one but I'll go with AC Milan
