If there are people who attended the meeting, they probably are there in Dubai and still enjoying the desert.

I suppose the people who attend are developers and investors in the web3 as they say its focused on web3 industry. Most probably they are discussing crypto, AI and games they have developed as well. I have not seen any videos of the conference on youtube though. It would have been cool to see what they gained when they are out there.

Its not just 21Shares filing Doge ETF there are few more like Bitwise and Rex Osprey. Are they all sure these cryptocurrencies listed are going to be all approved after SEC review?

The answer could be all yes after all Trump and Atkin seem to be one in mind in supporting cryptocurrency as said in the article SEC is friendlier stance toward cryptocurrencies.

Cool to meet people with same interest tbh. Its like having new contacts where you can ask some tips and whats to come for the project you all are into.

I use to join a group of people playing same online game, its a massive learning step for you when you get to learn from them what to do. Its a support group that you can rely on, you will be making friends as the same time.

EOS Forum / Re: EOS or Ethereum?
« on: April 30, 2025, 09:10:30 AM »
EOS is a coin that continues to sink and it is difficult to swim to the edge. Let alone being able to climb a mountain to the highest peak, swimming from drowning in a sea of low prices is also impossible. There is nothing to expect further from this EOS coin.
Although I see the EOS market cap is still high, in fact the EOS coin chart is sinking and it is difficult to rise. See the full chart here --> https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eos/

The superiority of EOS can be said that it used to be almost the same as Ethereum, but in fact Ethereum is the winner, as evidenced by Ethereum still being the altcoins that is ranked first (second position on Coinmarketcap).
Seeing the EOS chart on Coinmarketcap is very worrying, I will stay away from EOS coins and this is not recommended for purchase.

I hear they are rebranding the project and they say the market is getting okay but I read different from you.

Its hard to make people come and invest gain when the team have already ruined its reputation since that time where EOS gotten so much funds. I think they really need to make some changes that affects the price of EOS to make it more interesting to new investors.

Probably removing this no transaction fee because less demands for EOS when its till this way?

While US is also tackling stablecoin bill, so is UK which they said is a collaboration of US and UK. It took so long for this bill to be approved already, there have been several house hearings for stablecoin but nothing so far has come out to be making it look good. They should fast-forward the approval of this bill and make things right already.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What if the airdrop is gone forever?
« on: April 29, 2025, 09:55:42 PM »

I don't think it will disappear. Airdrop is a way to promote a project token, its the easiest way to make a project well known for users who received free money somehow are going to shill the project to some crypto community.  People are posting airdrops to spread the word about the project.

There are platforms also going to distribute tokens to holders of particular L1 projects. TON users are getting some tokens from unknown devs AFAIK.

Gray hats probably. Some hackers are just trying penetration test and they could be gaining reputation because this seem to be a job already that they could get into a platform expose vulnerabilities and developers are to be informed about it which their job has to improve securities which in this case the Solana Defi platform.

This bounty is their pay for this penetration test. Who knows they may be hired by some platforms also to test the vulnerabilities.

The more institutions coming to accumulate BTC, I think a holder of BTC will also be expecting a big profit when the supply finally is fewer in the market. Although I think Blackrock have been buying Bitcoin as well which this 21 Capital is just another institution that wants to come into Bitcoin. There are few others I believe that have been accumulating BTC since.

Gambling & Crypto Casinos / Re: One Game Always Ruins Everything
« on: April 29, 2025, 07:23:33 PM »
These experiences and occurrences are the reasons why bettors and gamblers are advised to do such for fun and with what they can afford to lose, because betting is very risky and winning can never be guaranteed. But when you do it for fun, such losses can never bother you because you have made up your mind towards the game to be for fun, and whatever the result or outcome is, you will accept it as fate.
this is a wise approach towards betting and gambling, by viewing it as entertainment and betting it with money you know do away with. because betting with what you know if you lose it won't be so hard on you, reduces financial pressure, to me the first primary purpose is entertainment and not financial gain, because i understand that loses are part of the experience that helps manage emotions.

While you are at it anyway, you would rather be making money than just entertaining yourself. Being a fan of the sport like OP, he would spend time analyzing teams and athletes, if this makes him enjoy doing so, he would feel more confident with his analysis.

The ones who win in sports betting is the one that's entertained the most. If he just won that 10 games, it will confirm his understanding of the sports and at the same time gained.

Gambling discussion / Re: How to control gambling addiction?
« on: April 29, 2025, 07:07:35 PM »
I think it is like this, without effort, Without Dedication there is no way you can do something well, you need a lot of willpower to do things well, Especially when it comes to addictions you have to have a lot of discipline to do things well and as they are , that is why getting out of an addiction is very difficult, but it is something that can be done, we are and we are very capable of doing any type of activity of that style.
You are right that if one does not keep on practising, they will not be able to achieve much. It is never simple to deal with an addict because there’s that feeling that something has the upper hand on us most of the time. However I do feel that education can be powerful always that if we make up our mind with determination and know that these bad habits are not part of our personality, we can avoid them gradually and in turn make some modifications. Yes this requires a lot of effort to be used while getting out of the addiction level, but of course, nothing is impossible if one is willing to employ a lot of effort and be consistent. It has been a long process, nevertheless, as long as we continue to walk and run, one day we may see ourselves out of that trap.

Its always about helping himself to accomplish what he needs to do for himself. When a gambler is already an addiction, it requires an overhaul like completely renewing a personality.

The treatment will help but its always the person who would have to love himself to improve.  Or it could be an old habit he just have to quit like smoking that he just have to outgrow.

Most of them are promoting their platform but sure they are also up to help learn for they are posting tutorials to make you learn how to trade. I use to watch one on youtube, it helps me learn how to use the indicators that we can also use in crypto market. Not all I think is up to making themselves richer but its a mutual exchange.

Different countries in the world have distinct law, governing digital asset, despite bans or restrictions, transactions still occurs. How do these transactions occur despite regulatory challenges.
Crypto is legal in most countries, and since that is the case, crypto transactions go on as normal. If you are talking of countries where BTC is banned, it is in such situations that the people who use crypto in such places run the risk of getting on the wrong side of the law.
You could express your prefer opinion, i think that if all country can legalize for crypto currency it must be very helpful for all crypto currency users. But unfortunately crypto currency is illegal for our country. If we follow in the worldwide, we can see that those country permit legalize they must be out from poverty. So i believe that if our government want to interest for this issues, i think that it will be easy solution for our country. Because without permission from our government and central bank crypto currency use will be very difficult for us. So i expect our government take step for legalize bitcoin and others crypto.

Its using crypto in our daily transactions that is not easy to do but if you mean just trading, its very open to trade crypto from BTC to all other cryptocurrencies like stablecions.

A country that has legalized Bitcoin, it should have been easy but the adoption is not that wide. I think the adoption of Stablecoins might spread faster than Bitcoin if the government will just vouch for these stablecoins.

I sold mine since last year around this April also. But I still do have a fraction of it not even importing that wallet anymore.

It was disappointing that price didn't go up after it pump more  than 4k anymore and the more people saying something about it being POS makes me wanna send it all to USDT, I do have few ERC20 tokens though so if ever ETH goes 5k, these tokens might also be big as well. So I'm keeping these tokens still.

News related to Crypto / Re: xrp etf in brazil
« on: April 28, 2025, 10:53:47 AM »

Of all countries, it should have been US first for they are the ones who claim to be crypto capital.

Who knows what could happen, if they see XRP rising and they see enough institutions are interested in making this token rise up, they may really approve the XRP ETF effectively just milking from those countries accepting XRP ETF. Garlinghouse probably just dumping his XRP top Brazil's institutions. US SEC probably just observing the effect of ETF in Brazil.

Bitcoin vs Altcoins: What's the Difference and Which One Should You Start With?

Ok, so....what's the difference because well, you didn't list a single one!
I seriously don't get this trend of newbies starting topics in which they claim to help others understand stuff and give literally no real information, just 8 lines of nothing.

Also, I fail to see why anyone should trade something based on how they understand that process, I don't think anyone is an engineer before trading oil, a pharmacist before trading pharmaceutical shares, or an expert in lithography before buying NVIDIA stock. And before anyone says you need to know about Bitcoin before trading, I would remind you that people still don't understand how mining and confirmations work, and I'm not talking about newbies but unfortunately, veteran members.

Reading charts is all they need to know to trade. Somehow they manage to profit without understanding blockchain. It doesn't matter anymore unless they really are going to be mining coins or staking some altcoins.

So far they know the basics of securing their investments like keeping the private keys and sees phrase. Those who introduced them to crypto at least made then understood this because of the threats and hacking incidents in crypto.
