Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you still believe in old coins?
« on: August 15, 2024, 01:21:48 AM »I don't hate old coins, but I think that most old coins have failed or disappeared from the market since I learned about crypto in 2012. Only BTC and ETH continue to exist strongly and achieve new ATHs in new cycles, and they are exceptions due to their special status: BTC is digital gold, while ETH is digital oil.Weak old coins must have disappeared. But strong old coins will survive a long time. I don't think only BTC and ETH that can survive until now. TRX, XLM, LTC, WAVE, and there are many other old altcoins to survive a long time. But I can agree that BTC and ETH are the best old altcoins.
Bitcoin and Ethereum were considered the best since they have a large community thanks to their price after all when comparing it to Dogecoin or LTC for example. Monero is known and established cryptocurrency that's growing in the shadows.
Dogecoin is the most cryptocurrency that I trust will grow over years and will give us the highest rewards in my opinion. For the other coins I don't regret not wasting my time on them except maybe Bitcoincash/SV, which I should sold them earlier..
