Bitcoin won't be worth $1M in 2030. If politicians against crypto take over we're going to see crypto wiped out. Crypto needs to have friendly politicians to have a future because it's going to be difficult getting easy regulation without govt support.

Bitcoin's head & shoulders above the altcoins but it doesn't mean ppl can't big profits if they buy the right altcoins. Most ppl can't buy bitcoin because they can't afford it.

Do you mean they shouldn't buy and sell, but they can buy and hodl?
Or you meant that they should totally obey the government and not own bitcoin at all?
Does the government who prints more and more fiat to enrich themselves amidst inflation deserve such level of obedience?
My advice is that, if your government bans bitcoin and you find a way to buy and hold, please do and not necessarily buying and selling to go against the government.
I'm saying don't break the law or we'll go to jail. If govt's ban bitcoin we shouldn't trade it illegally.

If we all want to follow how he’s saying we should not go again the government, then we will most definitely not own any bitcoin today. Your government may have banned bitcoin and not allow the buying and selling of it but when you decide to buy some and won’t be penalized for such actions or won’t be a big deal, you shouldn't hesitate to take such opportunity on yourself. If we were to follow on the ban of cryptocurrencies earlier by the government, we wouldn’t have been an investor in bitcoin or own some certain amount of it in the first place.
All users saying they'll buy & sell in secret won't do it. We shouldn't go against our govt's because we don't want to be arrested. Our freedom's more important.

Trump's backing crypto so there's a chance. Elon Musk's leaving his govt job soon so he won't advise Trump on bitcoin. In future if Trump turns against crypto it's going to be impossible for $1M speculation.

5
Some users say they'll do it secretly but I've said it before you shouldn't buy & sell if your govt bans bitcoin because you'll be breaking the law.

It makes sense to ask why ppl sell when market conditions aren't high but it's their decision. They own their btc's so they'll do what they like we don't know why they've taken decisions.

Whales will buy & sell with out worrying because they're rich but I don't have money to buy btc so the news doesn't change any thing for me.

General Discussion / Re: depression & recovery

Thinking about others always going to be in a worse situation to you can help keep motivations going if you've suffered from bad days.

so how do you reset yourself if you feel sad sometimes? how do you make sure that you recover enough to keep working again? what motivates you after a bad day?

The answer's no. If bitcoin's banned you wouldn't buy it because it'll be illegal. If it's illegal in my country I wouldn't buy it. Who wants to break the law & face legal trouble it isn't worth it.

Crypto Wallets / Re: After getting profit, do you start buying Trezor?
« on: March 25, 2025, 06:35:54 PM »
Let's be clear, I also wouldn't use Trezor or any other similar hardware wallet to store any significant amount of BTC - only air-gapped devices that communicate with the UI exclusively via QR codes or SD cards come into consideration.

Still, the question arises whether you can trust any hardware today - if someone manages to hide explosives in thousands of pagers, then it's entirely possible that most of today's devices have some hidden components that spy on us.
Trusting a hardware device with crypto doesn't look like a good idea because they'll be plugged in some where & that's when they're vulnerable. I don't like them.

If you were a crypto whale, where would you store your private keys?
It's a question I'm trying to get my answer for but it's difficult.

I've wondered why the whale's sold short but it's his choice. He owns the bitcoin it's his right to do what he wants. I don't know how one sale's going to market trends worse it's like a small case. There's other important things going on.

There is no real problem, but of course as a crypto activist I wonder why I went short on millions of dollars when the market is not as good as it is right now. Of course, it also makes the market trend worse.
It's their Bitcoin and their right to do anything, but of course there's a reason behind the sale and we just want to analyze it.

If it's a question about buying bitcoin if it's illegal the OP's got the answers. Nobody should buy & sell bitcoin if it becomes illegal in their country. Don't do any thing illegal because you'll pay a big price by going to jail.

13
Bitcoin isn't getting banned. OP asked the question. I'm saying if govt's make bitcoin illegal we won't use it. If it gets banned it's going to die. They'd prefer to control it using regs so it's possible it'll stay forever.

On KYC platforms - why not try to control the flow if they would have such a desire?

Starting a topic on a whale selling a bitcoin wasn't necessary. Maybe he wanted cash in his bank we don't why he did it but it didn't deserve analysis in a dedicated topic. It's his bitcoin he sold it so what's the big deal ?

It isn't showing movement in $90k again because it can't get out of $80k range. I've watched the market at $80-$85k. I'm not some one who believes it's going to be $90k soon so ATH isn't worth discussing. Today it's $84k we've got a long way to go.
