Your thesis is wrong. Did you know that aside from bribery and unsolicited payments that some public workers enjoy, they actually don't enjoy much freedom like those in the private sector? Of course this still is restricted to the particular sector you are talking about.
Now I totally disagree with you because the same economy that is bringing down minimum wage and affecting cost of living is the same economy that is also affecting the private sector. All private firms are set up solely for profit and as a result you don't expect them to over pay and eat into their budget. The issue is from the government and not the private sector.

Are you for real? Have you worked in a private sector before saying this? Private sector workers are used beyond their capacity, and they are victimized repeatedly because their salaries come from their employers and not from the government and these employers play god on their employees. The job description of private sector is most times not strictly followed, and employees are made to work more than they ever signed up for. These employees have little or no resistance to being enslaved since these colonial masters called their bosses can easily surcharge them, refuse to pay them for the month or at worst terminate their employment.

I have worked in private establishments thrice and I can tell you for sure, no work is as secure and comfortable as working for the government, especially if it is a federal government employment.

Anyways to contribute to the perceived idea you're sending across, sometimes you need to be positive about yourself and act accordingly to make progress in life. There's a law that states that if you act it, you'll achieve it. If you want to be rich or successful in life, you must put up the principles that can get you there and remove unnecessary distractions. Your consistency, dedication and desire will manifest its physical equivalent in due time.

You're a gambler, but not a gambling addict, Yuh shouldn't be angry when your referred to as a gambler if you gamble responsibly. Life itself is a gamble. We're born to take risks and the tisks we  take sometimes its great to be considered a gamble. As far as you're still sane with your gambling behaviors, you don't have any problem being  called a gambler. The problem arises when your gambling habit is controlling you. Then your irresponsibility isn't something to reckon with. But as long as you gamble for fun, you're on the right track and your gambling isn't much of a challenge to you.
