DeFi tokens / Re: L2s Saturation And Opinion on Restaking projects
« on: October 17, 2024, 07:07:31 PM »

I've seen many restaking projects and I recently came across $Puffer on Eigen layer due to thier airdrop trending on X.
However, I would love see more suggestions, especially on the networks I mentioned above. What's your opinion on restaking projects?
Yes, Puffer is a restaking protocol, and their platform offers a restaking solution by lowering restaking requirements. However, it’s still limited to a minimum of 1 ETH, which to me is a restricted solution. Their airdrop farming distribution wasn’t good enough—I didn’t receive any tokens despite participating. But I managed to get it at a lower price upon listing, and I staked BGB on launchpool to earn more because I still believe the project has utility

DeFi tokens / Re: What's your thoughts about puffer finance
« on: October 12, 2024, 05:57:09 PM »
When it comes to liquid staking on Ethereum, the minimum requirement is 32 ETH, but with Puffer, it's only 1 ETH. do you think this lower entry threshold could give Puffer an advantage in terms of accessibility and potentially boost their TVL?
Even though their protocol has lower requirements for restaking, I still think they limit accessibility because 1 ETH is not a small amount. However, it does give them an advantage, especially compared to other restaking protocols with a minimum stake of 32 ETH. And since users are allowed to stake Puffer tokens to collect governance tokens, one could take that route and focus on accumulating tokens elsewhere.

Sui ecosystem has been doing great lately, bouncing back with a fresh strategy. They’ve restructured after their initial missteps, and now even exchanges are offering Sui to users on favorable terms. I feel the same is happening for Catizen, as there are many prizes in both tokens.
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but it’s rare for a day to go by without me opening my exchange apps and seeing a pop-up about an event that offers prizes in either Sui, Cati, or both. However, many of these events tend to be region-specific.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that projects on the TON ecosystem often have names related to cats and dogs? Some aren’t even meme coins but still have ‘cat’ or ‘dog’ in their names. Even though they claim to deliver something distinct for the community, I still think there’s a gap that needs to be bridged—like finding a way to customize real-life pets using AI.

Unbelievable, all that text to shill BG at the end - but you won't give up until you get a perma ban, right?
I was hoping you could take a look at the replies you will know my aim is neutral not the way you think it is

The Asia Blockchain Summit 2024 ABS2024 will take place from August 6 to 8 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. ABS2024 is hosted in vibrant Taiwan, recently described by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang as one of the most important places in the world for being the center of the AI and computing revolution.

Powered by BlockTempo, the three-day event highlights Taiwan’s role as a Web3 hub by hosting summits and events for leaders in key Web3 verticals, drawing over 15,000 attendees from more than 65 countries. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, a two-time Primetime Emmy Award-winning actor, will also be speaking in person at ABS2024.

Key speakers at ABS2024 include Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin, who will be speaking in person on August 8; Hester M. Pierce, Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; Audrey Tang, Taiwan’s First Digital Minister; Glen Weyl,  Economist at Microsoft Research; Ray Chan, founder and CEO of Memeland; Paul Grewal, Coinbase CLO; Samson Mow, CEO of Jan3; and Scott Moore, co-Founder of Gitcoin.

Get the details here.

It looks like the ongoing Asia Blockchain Summit in Taipei is the biggest one held in Asia so far in recent years. I’m really impressed with how it’s going, with almost 15,000 attendees. Just imagine being part of the crowd to see Vitalik, Bitget COO Vugar, Bybit CEO, Bitget Wallet COO Alvin, and Tron founder Justin Sun speak.

Would you be coming if you are in Taiwan?

August has really shaken things up in the market. Every day it’s just more red, whether in stocks or crypto. I was heartbroken when I checked my app this morning—our gains have completely evaporated. I had accumulated a lot of tokens through engage-to-earn events on Twitter, but those seem to have disappeared now. I’m really hoping for some social or deposit events to pop up soon, and this time, I won’t hesitate to sell.

After I posted about exchange events here, I decided to do some research and found out that many events are being held every day, but not all are inclusive of Asian users. The ones I saw aren’t as suitable; some are not even worth my time. I need something that is direct and will give out potential tokens as rewards, but I couldn’t find any.

Crypto Exchanges / Winning in Exchange Events: Myth or Reality?
« on: July 30, 2024, 06:46:37 PM »
I have seen a lot of exchange events going on but haven’t come across many people who claim they won rewards from these events. Is it that people don’t spread the news of their winnings as much as they spread the word about participating, or do they not win for real? However, I did come across someone’s post saying that he won almost $100 by just participating in exchange events, which gave me a little push to start participating. But I am kind of lost on where to start.

Investors are increasingly drawn to low-cap altcoins, often overlooking more established cryptocurrencies. Newer altcoins, with narratives aligned with current global trends, are capturing attention due to their growth potential.

But I wonder why these exchange tokens recorded lesser improvement, with only BGB and MX increasing greatly, BGB reporting a 432.7% increase since January. Do you think this preference for low-cap altcoins also applies to exchange tokens?

Meme Coins / Are There Any Solana Memes Worth Investing In?
« on: July 24, 2024, 11:37:08 PM »
Do we still have Solana memes that escaped Radium and made it to exchanges? Because of how Solana memes completely turned into rug pulls, I doubt if there is a good token out there worthy of getting listed on exchanges, with zero token allocation to KOLs to avoid dumps and ensure fair distribution. What do you think? Are there any out there with good tokenomics and more?

I remember when the metaverse and Web3 were trending back in 2021, and lots of people kept talking about the system of buying and selling real-world land in virtual environments. Some even bought virtual lands. But all of a sudden, the trend died, and everyone went back to default settings. I wonder if those people who traded on these metaverse platforms are still around and making a profit from it, and If those metaverse platforms become decentralized, will they benefit from it?

buy more.

this is likely the majority of the advice you get from investors. what i have learned in the past is that the bear market can last to 2-3 years which if you want to survive these bear market years, you have to make the most in the bull market. so fill up your bags while the bull market is yet to begin.

what i tried doing is spot trading in the 1 or 4 hr chart during bull market. so just buying and selling in sport market every time it reaches its overbought and oversold heights. this way you get to accumulate sats.
if someone is not necessarily a trader who will they know it get to the overbought point? how do they manage to understand its a sell or buy point?

My advice is as follows: don't be too greedy, be patient, have a specified price at heart to sell your bitcoin or altcoins, avoid FOMO, have a long term goal, apply a DCA method, and finally have diversified investments
You are legend. I agree with you about FOMO because when I was a newbie that got me a lot, cant say I escaped that even now.
