Thank you all for your answers. I do understand that ICO got obsolete in 2017 but still there are platforms where you can list your token just to gain some eyes that too without a fees obviously.

In exchanges everyone is just looking at vanity metrics as to how many followers does one have on X and how big the community is. Hence the problem.
Main goal is to get listed on Big Exchanges that's for sure. But to gain a community is the main problem.

Understand the point of telegram and twitter KOLs but nowadays its also very Scammy and cannot rely on it. If anyone has any list of KOLs or work in it that would be great.

Frankly Speaking! Mostly Every time is the right time to buy. The market will not likely go to 0. It will be always increasing. Just need to be careful as to which coins are you betting on.
People who bought bitcoin at the last peak which is 69k even they are profitable now. The only thing you need to ask yourself is how much are you willing to bet on Crypto and if you have the patience to wait for your returns as most people see crypto as quick money.

Twitter has for sure become one of the main platforms to publish about Airdrops since most of the crypto community is very active on Twitter.
I believe projects make use of all the social media platforms out there to market themselves because nowadays its very important to have a loyal community if you are going to raise funds for your Crypto Startup.

That being said one has to remain very careful and research more on the project when participating in airdrops.
