Crypto gaming needs to become more about gaming and less about NFTs. We need games that are so entertaining that people are willing to throw money on it and expect nothing in return in the real world.

The current model of making money by just playing a game would never take off because such games would attract gold farmers who will turn it into a profession, which in-turn will turn away any player who just wants to play a few hours for fun.

I hope we get games that are fun to play, where NFTs are just a small part rather than the central feature, and where there is only a possibility of making real-world money rather than a certainty. Such a game could attract a wider audience.

Haha, I think so too, lol. But to be honest, there are a few that stand out. AVACN, for example, I really like what their team is building. Cats is another one doing something different. They’re focused on creating unique cat avatars for users and are even launching an interactive game where your CAT evolves through real-life and AI interactions. But aside from these two, most of the other projects are pretty much the same, just like you said, no real utility, nothing special.

I feel ya, bro. Those crypto events and airdrops can be a mixed bag, but they're still worth checking out. I've tried a few myself, sometimes the rewards are just a couple bucks, but hey, free crypto is free crypto, right?

One time, I got lucky and won some tokens from a giveaway on Twitter. Felt like hitting the jackpot! Right now, I'm giving this "Hot Token Carousel" a spin, trying to scoop up some ETH, SOL, and Sui hahah. Haven't gotten anything yet, but it's a fun way to stay engaged with the crypto fam.

At the end of the day, even if the payouts aren't massive, these events can still help drive adoption. You never know when you might get that lucky break.

Interoperability in crypto's been on my mind lately. We've got all these blockchains, but they're like islands that can't communicate. IMHO, if we could move assets between chains easily and safely, that'd be a gamechanger.

Think about it, seamless asset transfers, cross-chain dApps, unified liquidity. The potential's huge. But it's not just a pipe dream. Some projects are already tackling this. Take Across Protocol, for example. They're using an Optimistic Oracle and a single liquidity pool to bridge chains.

Is this the future of crypto? Maybe. The tech's promising, but there are still challenges. Security's gotta be top-notch. User experience needs to be smooth AF. And adoption? That's the big Q.

What do y'all think? Is interoperability the next frontier? Will it reshape DeFi? Or is it just another hyped-up concept? Let's discuss.

Cryptocurrency Trading / What's the Most You've Risked in Crypto?
« on: July 21, 2024, 08:01:37 PM »
Yo buddies, I've been mulling over something lately. I'm curious about how much we're actually putting on the line in this wild crypto world.

Do any of you hold a full Bitcoin, or even more? I'm betting at least one person here does.

And what about trading? Have you ever gone big, like five or six figs  big? Maybe for one of those trading competitions, I know Binance had a pretty intense one last year.

If you have made those big moves, did it freak you out at all? I mean, that's a lot of money to have in play all at once.

I'm not judging either way, just genuinely curious about everyone's experiences. What's your comfort level when it comes to crypto investments & trades?

So guys, I was wondering, people now don’t talk about Gaming anymore. It's just like, Gaming Narrative is done now. I don't know
people are not that bullish on Gaming Narrative compared to two/three years ago when I joined the Crypto space.

I know, like, there are few fun games I've played over the past years, that have a lot of potential. But then, I think it wouldn't hurt to buy some crypto gaming now if we get a big crash. I'm just looking for this opportunity at least. I mean, in crypto, when interest is lowest, that's when it is a good time to dip in.

I missed the era of Axie, Infinity, illuvium, PYR, they were the hottest crypto back then. Ngl, I made a lot of money playing Axie. But then again, I feel like crypto gaming will never be a thing as long as the crypto part comes first. For mass adoption, I believe the gaming part should be the first and most important, and the crypto part should just be a bonus. What do you think?
So what do you all think about this my friends? Is crypto gaming done just like the multiverse and NFTs

Guys, looks like the narrative is slowly getting back ton ecosystem. I mean, the ecosystem is thriving. And from all the things that I've been seeing, it is taking over. Looks like is just a matter of time before we see it surpassed the Solana ecosystem cos I've seen that the number of active addresses of Ton has passed that of Ethereum. Lots of activities happening on the ecosystem, many tokens launching. Today I’ve seen over five different projects announced listing and they are all under the Ton chain, UXLink, BOOM, Pixfi, and whatnot. Seems like the Ton integration with Telegram is what makes the adoption. I don't know, but my instinct is telling me that this is the next alpha. I’m going all in. Not going to miss the opportunity of making on the ton chain just like how I did with solana. I'm actually bullish my stakes on it is really high. Who is keeping an eye? Come introduce me to hot new projects.

Around June 21st this year, I came across some concerning news about the TON blockchain. Reports indicated that scammers are targeting crypto exchanges with fake stablecoins on the TON network. This is surprising, especially considering TON’s recent achievements, including $20 million in funding and positive community attention.

Despite these advancements, the presence of scammers raises serious questions about security and trust. How are these scammers infiltrating the system, and what measures are in place to prevent such activities? Could these fraudulent activities potentially undermine TON’s progress and create significant challenges for its future development?

What do you think about this situation? Can these security issues overshadow the achievements of TON, and what steps should be taken to address them?

The TON ecosystem could potentially become the next hotspot for big money. So, it's likely that scammers will try to infiltrate the ecosystem. This has happened numerous times with the Solana ecosystem, but it has continues to thrive. If there's anything I'm afraid of it's not having TON in my pf.

There are so many opportunities in the chain, which reminds me of the current tonnect carnival backed by the Bitget wallet. If you know your way around the TON ecosystem, you could make a lot of money.

Guys so ATOR rebranded to Anyone? I wanted to add Ator to my portfolio and found out they’ve rebranded to Anyone. Not only that, looks like they are now a Depin project.  Is it worth adding a bag cos I’ve seen people complaining that the migration has screwed so many holders over.  Trust wallet can't migrate this. And their link for migration doesn't work for some people’s geolocation.

Thoughts on this

Ethereum's popularity is undeniable, but slow transaction speeds and high fees are common complaints among users, even though Ethereum 2.0 promises much faster speeds. We're still waiting for those improvements to fully roll out. In the meantime, projects like Polygon, Arbitrum, and even some new players like Starknet and Blast are offering Layer 2 solutions each trying to become the smoothest ride for DeFi users.
So, my question is. What factors should I consider when choosing a platform? And will Ethereum 2.0 ultimately render these solutions obsolete?

Yeah, everyone is just trying to solve Ethereum's problem. And new projects are popping up left and right. So it's really getting competitive out there. I've seen that you mentioned Blast. So, I think, it has some momentum going. They managed to put in a billion dollars in TVL, which is pretty impressive. And it has so many things going on in its chain. the only chain where developers who deployed dApps get back tx fees back

-NOT a ponzi, raised lowest amount of funding
-biggest TVL, bust has NOT even launched yet
-secretly onboarding asian/chinese markets. Can't wait to see what the TGE will unveil. I think airdrop claim is tomorrow too, seen Bitget announced that they will be adding it to their spot market.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: I want to pay for my holiday with crypto
« on: June 23, 2024, 11:25:19 PM »
Yes you read the title right, I'm want to fund a holiday to the maldives this summer with money made from cryptocurrency but unfortunately I've not made anything close to that amount in profit lmaoooo. There's low-key still time tho, I could make a lot from a 100x meme or something. You guys know any trading competition that can get me a shit ton of money before then or maybe an event that can win me that money for free lmaooo

Or should I just get a crypto loan instead, It still kinda counts hehe

Go for it Op.. life enjoyment is much important than anything.... Alot of money and no joy, then what is the purpose of money!!! I plan to spend my summer in santorini with my friends next month. I’m going with the profit i made in memecoins hihi. My friends told me that if everything goes as planned, bitget will be sponsoring their trip fully. So m waiting for 5th July so see if what they said is true. if not, i will go alone

Most of the games out there are ridiculously overvalued and have virtually no real players.  Honestly, people are just buying the coins just to profit on the FOMO.

But at least we're finally starting to see a few decent ones coming out.

I'm not a poker gamer tho, more of the mmorpg/arpg action game, but I'll dump conventional games for play to earn games a million times. I'm not talking about Axie Infinity type of games, more of PORTUMA kind.

We are already seeing a spike in monthly volume on these games particularly PORTUMA volume has been insane since listing on bitget I believe these numbers will continue to grow.

One of the core innovations that is often pushed forward in DeFi is interoperability of blockchain networks.

There has been a clamour for building projects that are inherently infused with this just in a bid to enhance seamless crypto transactions.

Considering how alot of people have been well invested into it, I've grown curious.

Does anyone know any projects I could leverage on to read more about its interoperability to possibly consider investing??

Hi mate, you can check out Layer zero. Seems to have an insane touch of tech and the adoption rate proves that. Saw that they’ve secured listing on multiple cexs including  bitget. The amazing/ethical product is the reason why i will continue using their tech even after TGE.

Alright boys, let me ask you this. when will all this drama of memecoins going to end? Do you think the crypto market is moving sideways because of the memecoins? Like, I'm tired. Now Andrew Tate is in the game and he’s sucking away all the liquidity. SMH. I just want money to start flowing into coins with utilities. But then again, if you look at it, memecoins are the only coins that make us rich overnight.

I personally don't like trading memecoins. I think my first ever memecoin was Doge and I'm still holding some of it.. But ngl, the FOMO is almost overwhelming. Sometimes I just feel like, going all-in-all into these memecoins. I've seen brett starting from 10M mcap to where it is now. I've seen Maga, Sphynx and others . But then, is it that I'm not lucky or because I don't like getting myself involved in memecoins that is why I'm missing out? I don't know. Sometimes I feel like making money off Doge or brett or whatever you call them makes me feel dirty. But making money in utility coins makes me feel like a super investor. So, I don't know guys. I don't feel like entering the meme stuff because I'm really eager for this memecoin season to end. Like, who else is feeling the same? But at the same time, the fomo is killing me because I want to make a killing too so I dont miss out on this dip

Crypto Wallets / Re: How can we go beyond crypto wallet basics
« on: June 06, 2024, 06:29:17 PM »
Crypto wallets have really evolved tremendously beyond just being coin storage. These days, wallets like MetaMask, BWB & others offer gateways to the entire Web3 universe. I remembered back in 2022 when people Rumored about MM launching their own token and doing an airdrop. But now, BWB did that instead, heard of  their token launch today? Looks like they’re trying to beat MM. anyways the point here is you can do a lot all from within these multi-functional wallet interfaces. It consolidates the decentralized experience into one streamlined platform.
