Bitcoin Forum / Re: Don't forget to HODL your BTC!

Bitcoin holding is full of fruitful outcomes

Yes. It teaches you patience, commitment, financial responsibility, and so much more. As crazy as it sounds, holding Bitcoin can literally turn you into a better person than before. I'm not saying that Bitcoin is a key to becoming a better person, it's just a perk that comes with being diamond handed  8).

I wonder what is the best way to teach an average person this mindset, without them being poisoned by stupid nonsense in the media manipulating their buy/sell decision making...

bitcoin is currency, and currency is something that affects almost every aspect of our lives.

Money makes the world go 'round as they say, right?

It's only natural for people to make emotional-based decisions when they haven't trained themselves properly for this kind of thing. It's not easy, but finding a community like this that can support you via words of encouragement, advice, and general knowledge can help not just panic sellers, but all types of people with all types of issues (financially/bitcoin speaking).

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What got you interested in Bitcoin
« on: June 23, 2024, 06:34:06 AM »
My first bitcoin experience ever was through freebitco.in back in 2021.

I liked the idea of gamified savings, and that website was the gateway into my bitcoin journey because it led me to the bitcointalk.org forum wherein I learned a lot.

There is no where else legitimate discussion of freebitco.in takes place except for a few threads in the gambling board of the bct forum.

All in all, I am so happy I got into bitcoin in the first place, because once you read and learn enough, you realize that you have the power to hold freedom in your very hands. That kind of thing is special in the crazy world we live in.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will BTC be replaced by a new one someday?

Every alt coin ever is built and inspired by foundations laid by Bitcoin. Each is an attempt to dethrone the king. However many altcoins there are, that's how many attempts Bitcoin has tried to be replaced.

Master-Jedi Spasybo!

Thanks for the suggestions and comments. Sorry I couldn't get to you sooner! 🧡🙏🏽

You don't have to be an expert art evaluator to appreciate art. Here, you say it's interesting and to me that is valuable feedback in it of itself! 💯

Also,

I do definitely plan on making global event based art with memes and humor added. I love adding memes in my art lol. I'm getting new hardware one day that will let me make the art a little faster than I'm capable of with current hardware, so then I will be able to make more pieces. Inspiration always hits me at the most weird and random times.

Furthermore,

I am a big technical noob. Not sure what inscription is at all, or anything about smart contracts and the like lol. I just make digital art. I do know that Solana has a strong culture based community, but I also know that XCP is compatible with Bitcoin and makes more sense for Project #7777 since ideally it will be crowd sourced art from real and true bitcoiners.

Hey, everyone! Sorry I haven't responded to questions, comments, or concerns regarding Redivivus yet. I have been super busy these past few days, as my wife is in her end stages of pregnancy.

As a matter of fact, instead of being born on July 19th, the baby is now coming in around 2-3 days via artificial induction of labor. My wife has a medical condition called pre-eclampsia, wherein she could have a stroke, seizure, or otherwise die if the baby does not come out right away.

When I return from all of this, I will surely be answering questions, comments, and concerns regarding Redivivus. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. 🧡🙏🏽

It was really beautiful and admirable Digital Art but you should show your Digital Art merit from more social media channels and you can get early buyers. Moreover if you want, you can go to the service section of the btt forum and add your offers because there are many buyers there. In fact you can participate in art computation there.

Thank your for calling my art beautiful and admirable. It means a lot 🧡. As for my plans for the art, they are currently in motion as we speak but it's very early in the project. I plan on making all the art you see in this portfolio part of a bigger NFT collection called "Project #7777".

First, I must admit that I don't see the need for this much social media. There are already too many of them and they mostly offer the same thing.

I will not go into the details of what is presented here, but what I see is quite centralized, certain users have greater privileges... It looks like a fairly private network.
Also, privacy and social networks do not go together for several reasons. For example, a private network, available only to a certain group of people, is not attractive for anything, not even for advertising, and that is necessary at some point in order to get life. One more thing, SM users want to be seen and this is one of the reasons for using such platforms.

The purpose of the social network is to play test a newfound utilization of Bitcoin. It is not meant to compete with or replace existing social networks. If what we end up trying to prove is a success, other social media outlets (like altcoinstalks for example) can use our model and see success too.

The platform seems centralized because of the word "owner", I've already proposed that we change that word to "administrator".

I will save @Jokers time and remind you of the necessity of adding project URL link

ℹ️ ANN topic should contain link to the web site of a project. Please add that information.
Q.10 - Does the project have a website & team? > The coin/token should have a website - with their own domain name .
You need to add some text instead of images to check if they are handled by A.I.

How will all this data be managed via Bitcoin, given the high fees and limited blockchain, is it via a second or third layer?

I did add a project URL, I said in my OP that the club of Redivivus is located on a website called The Elon Report. The domain for that website is elon.report.

Here is a link: https://elon.report/index.php?/register/
Here is a link: https://elon.report/index.php?/clubs/1-redivivus/

As for how everything is going to be possible, I want you to think about freebitco.in for a second. How is it possible that I can win and lose single satoshi's with the way the network is now? It's all a display, of course. That's why the minimum withdraw is 30,000 satoshi's.

In our case, we can make our users balance with us function as a display on the top right of the screen. When someone posts, likes, or does anything to effect the public generation of content in the social network, one satoshi will be deducted from the user.

We are considering using the lightning network somewhere in all of this, as I think with that you are able to manage single satoshi's. There are arguments however that the LN isn't real Bitcoin, so there's that we have to deal with as well. This project is in its earliest of earliest of phases.

We are also considering mechanics that will reward users single satoshi's that can be considered a fair game. For example, if I like a post I will lose a Satoshi. The user whose post I liked will then gain a Satoshi.

We are also considering adding ways for users to earn satoshis so they can use it to contribute to the public content of the social network. One of these ways is going to be a mini game built into the club itself that rewards the top (x) players satoshi's at the end of the day/week.

We need to get a userbase going that's interested in the newfound utilization of Bitcoin to begin with. That way, our developers will see reason to code such things.

Is this an NFT collection you are selling? Which blockchain are you using?

I think the best wat to monetize that now is by turning them into NFTs

Hey, bitmover! 8)

Glad you asked these questions, heh!

To quickly answer your questions:

1.) This is just my art portfolio, I do intend on making an entire NFT collection one day.
2.) Thinking of using the XCP chain because it is compatible with bitcoin chain.

So, at first my digital art journey actually started with the BONKz NFT collection on MagicEden. It was a collection that crowdsourced art from various famous Solana artists, as well as random artists from the Solana community that wanted to contribute to the collection at the time it was being crowdsourced. After I made my submissions to the BONKz collection, I realized that making that art was so fun and I was actually quite good at it because I asked the opinions of people IRL. People say it's decent, so it motivated me to keep making more just for fun. Up to date, I have 35 official pieces in my portfolio. 8)

Now, all of my 35 pieces of art that I have made thus far, and anything else I make, is going to be part of an NFT collection called "Project #7777". I'm thinking of minting everything on the XCP chain, which was suggested to me by @minerjones on another forum because it is a chain that is compatible with bitcoin. Project #7777 will be comprised of 7,777 original pieces of art that anyone can submit to me to be added to the collection. Anyone can make whatever they want and submit it, regardless of subjective opinion of if its "good" art or not. Art is art to me, so anyone and all art is welcome, within reason of course, haha. ;D

As of now, Project #7777 just has the art I've made. Do tell me what you think of the art. An artist loves to hear opinions! :P

Well now would be pretty good since BTC is going down from it's newest ATH.

At the end of the day, timing the market is a bad idea in general.

You have to really sit and think about the long term game when you are dealing with bitcoin.

Moons are for noobs, so don't hope or plan for it.

These are all my opinions, of course.

Whales are smart and they will always make the right decision, but selling everything i don't think any whales will do that.

This is true. Nowadays, people in power take steps to make sure they stay in power. It makes me uneasy to think the technology of freedom is in the hands of evil people. Not to say that all whales are evil, but you know what I'm talking about.

Free will is also a power that everyone has. You can choose to be good, and you can choose to be evil. I feel the same applies to bitcoin as well. You can use this technology for good, or you can use it for evil.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin Too Expensive For Me?
« on: June 18, 2024, 12:05:14 AM »
Ok so there are ~8 billion people on earth. On average, that's 262500 satoshi's per person.

I feel like there's plenty of BTC to do business with. The mindset that "bitcoin is too expensive" right now just doesn't make sense if you look at how many satoshi's there are actually available for everyone. Furthermore, it doesn't make sense because of how early bitcoin is in it's life.

People need to stop looking at the price of bitcoin, and start looking at what bitcoin is.

I'll take #7 and #77, please.

Thank you for the raffle!
