Bitcoin Forum / Re: If you want to take Bitcoin, take it or not??
« on: October 13, 2024, 04:39:35 PM »
There are many ups and downs in the Crypto market, so don't be too quick to believe whether you should trade or not.  I talk about myself that I want to do business but the question comes in my mind that should I invest or not??  Bitcoin price is currently skyrocketing so is it worth buying??

Have long term goal in mind before investing. 6-5 years

DeFi tokens / Re: What's your thoughts about puffer finance
« on: October 12, 2024, 08:38:05 PM »
1 ETH is still not a joke, it's not something anyone can just pull out of their pockets and give. With that amount, it might attract more scammers to copy this model (assuming puffer is legit). It might also get the attention of farm hunters if they add more perks like future drops.

But it's better than 32 yes?? Yeah they've got season 2 drops from what I can see. Season one airdrop would be given to about 7.5% of their total supply

DeFi tokens / What's your thoughts about puffer finance
« on: October 11, 2024, 06:23:32 AM »
We're starting to see many liquid staking projects launch on Eigenlayer, which is a positive development. When it comes to liquid staking on Ethereum, the minimum requirement is 32 ETH, but with Puffer, it's only 1 ETH. do you think this lower entry threshold could give Puffer an advantage in terms of accessibility and potentially boost their TVL?

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: The hardest thing in trading
« on: October 09, 2024, 12:21:47 AM »
Many say that trading to make a profit is quite difficult for most people... even many people lose because they make the wrong decision... to be able to improve our trading skills, at least we must first know where the difficulty lies or where the problem lies... then we can fix it at that point...

So, in your opinion, what is the most difficult thing for traders? , (both beginner traders and professional traders)... and have you thought about the solution if it turns out that you are interested in the world of trading?

The hardest thing imo is securing your capital. Once you can do that, then you'll be making profits.

EigenLayer is actually one of the leading platforms for liquid restaking like you said but as for risks involved with liquid restaking I'm not too sure about that because I've never tried it but I have actually traded Eigenpie on Bitget just a day before which is a solid token to trade for profit but I can't offer more than that

Oh I see. I also saw that eigen is about to go live. Heard there was an airdrop.

This is EGP on Poolx. Like where you stake to farm tokens. You' know about this?

The Cat could be having some step up but I think it may not be like the Dogs. There are few reasons why I think that the Cat may not be like the Dogs.
First, both projects has different management approaches and marketing strategies.
secondly, the level at which uses embrace each projects could also be different, for instance, the Cat meme may have more driving funs based on the projects promotions and advertising ways.
The marketing of these projects could also be different, and a more vibrant marketing strategy of the Dogs projects can enhance the demand more the Cat meme, vice visa.

DOGS will also have the NFT market for the stickers on Telegram as far as I know. Would Cats do something along the lines of it to gather more people around it in the time to come? I don't know for sure.

Probably yes. But let's see how it goes

Hey mates, it seems like we’ll have another Telegram airdrop buzz, as I just discovered that $CATS is stepping up with pre-deposits. The first platform to open deposits for $CATS on their exchange is here, with incentives attached.

Personally, I didn’t think $CATS would get to this stage of pre-deposits. Kudos to them! Did you farm?

You've made a good point though. But so far cats is looking like the most promising. Do you think it'll get to binance? It's on bybit pre market already and Bitget is the first to open pre deposit with rewards. I've got faith on this one..I hope it doesn't disappoint like hmster

At CATS, we value the clever cats 🐈‍⬛ who know that free cheese only comes in a mousetrap 🧀🪤, far more than the mice and hamsters who just want to tap and expect millions. While some may believe they can earn big rewards with little effort, we reward those who truly understand the game and invest their time and resources wisely.

The bigger, juicier rewards are reserved for the real CATS — those who value the project and are ready to be part of it, growing together with the community in this new era of digital renaissance 😼
I understand from this quote from the official announcement that the biggest rewards will not be for free farmers but for those who complete tasks paid for by the network fee.

According to the announcement, the snapshot will be taken on September 30, 21:00 UTC, I have about 16k tokens so far so I think will complete network transactions and pay fees to get more tokens.

Hopefully, you will get great rewards! But one CATI is ~$0,7, how did you get so much of it?.. I didn't got into Catizen due to being loaded with work, but I look from time to time with what it ends ;D

Cats and cati are two different projects man

CATI is a unique project and think they have much possibility to grow up but I don't know why cati token are dramping regularly. from the second of listing cati token price are still on the loser list. this coins are not moving from there and come on the gainers list on the exchange. we can easily expect minimum of $1 aur token price. but recently token status and show performance that worried me. but my prediction I think that cati price will pump very soon and it it should be huge. so I am waiting for this moment

Its not about Catizen if I'm not wrong we are discussing here CATS token, yeah i know there are so many themed projects around there but honestly CATS is one that was first after the Dogs lunch I'm sure of that, for the rest I think other members can clarify more, as for me I'm commenting on the CATs token for which the Airdrop snapshot date is 30th of September.

Didn't even know snapshot is set. I just knew BG is rolling out 30k cats as airdrop for depositors. Do you have ab idea of the pre market price??

DeFi tokens / Re: Thoughts on RWA Projects?
« on: September 24, 2024, 07:07:18 PM »
Given the potential for RWAs to unlock the benefits of DeFi for users, my question is: How sustainable is this narrative in the long run?
What benefits are you referring to? RWA is not really new, and as far as I'm aware trendy things like this have their cycle just like how ICO/IEO was a thing in the past. After years of following the market, I'd sell my tokens if the narrative has changed. Long-term benefits are almost non-existent for projects like those. If you want to invest for the long term I'd stick with BTC, and maybe some main chain alts like ETH or BNB. While most of their so-called benefit make sense, it's so rare that an industry managed to achieve its promises in this space because the market is simply too niche right now. For example, decentralized storage sounds interesting but most of them failed to perform so they keep trying to acquire new funds with rebranding, introducing new pricing tiers, etc. CMIIW.

Hmm okay. Thanks for your input

DeFi tokens / What's your opinion on DeFi restaking, and how risky is it?
« on: September 24, 2024, 07:06:05 PM »

Hey forum mates, good day! I hope we're all enjoying the market.

I've recently started exploring DeFi—swaps, bridging, and even providing liquidity on the Cosmos chain. Finally put my TIA to use 😁. In my effort to learn more about DeFi, I came across the concept of liquid staking. While the concept is a bit unfamiliar to me, I read on Google that liquid staking is quickly becoming one of the crypto industry's biggest new investment trends, with Eigenlayer seen as a leading player, likely due to being built on the ETH chain.

I thought I'd bring this topic here so we can learn from each other. Are there any DeFi specialists here who could weigh in on the topic? What risks are associated with this concept, and what should we look out for?

Ethereum Forum / Re: Ethereum vs TON blockchain
« on: September 23, 2024, 11:16:20 PM »
We have seen a lot of projects built on top of TON blockchain and we have also seen a lot of projects built as a layer on Ethereum

Projects like Notcoin and Dogs have flourished largely and increased their popularity and on the other hand projects built on top of Ethereum like layerZero and Scroll do provide more utility and boast fast transaction speeds and low gas fees

Which of this two do you think have more potential and more utility?

First of all you can't compare projects on ton and eth. Ton is upcoming while eth is the most scalable l2 we've got.. if I just want to have some fun like tap to earn then I'll go for ton. For more long term projects like you said ETH based L2 like Scroll would be my go-to due to its utilities. And also due to its zkrollup tech integration, gas fees are low for scroll 📈..do you know it's on BG pre market?
prepping for tge

OP don't even keep or store cryptocurrency in decentralised exchanges or centralised exchange but use self or non custodial wallet to store your coins. But if you want sell at dat time, you can transfer to dem and sell them off and not to keep dem there. Both decentralised and Centralised exchanges are term as, "not your key not your wallet".
Exactly. If you are not the only person in control of your seed and the keys to your funds then you are pretty much not the owner of those funds or coins. The idea is in both cases wheather in the case of a decentralised exchange or a centralised exchange you are risking your funds. The idea behind hodling suggests that you are the sole and only owner of your coins and we all know that the idea of coin ownership is directly pinned to your seed phrase and keys.

Most people still HODL coins on centralised exchanges simply because they believe they are safe since they are bounded by government regulations, however they are actually just being naive.

If both cex and dex are not safe then which is safe?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The impact of crypto on our lives
« on: September 19, 2024, 10:06:05 PM »
I agree with you if we have a busy schedule in the real world and are interested in investing in crypto, rather than not having time to do research and make analysis, we should buy top coins when the price is still low and decide to hold for the long term until the bullish season because this is more profitable and safer than trading and not being able to focus because of our busy real world.
I think there are many people out there who want to invest in Crypto but are just a bit sceptical about their investment to be accurate because they have no idea much on the project they are about going into as a result of their schedule to do much verification or research about it. They just have to look into the market, check out for top coin on coinmarketcap then do their investment and it would be nice they do that when the market is bearish or if they are planning on holding for a long time, they can invest since they have a job or other business they can rely on for backup and with time and in line with their investment terms, they could make good profit from their investment.
I think we should have a job in the real world to meet our needs, because that's a priority. And investing in crypto is good by studying the top coins on CMC buying them when the crypto market is sluggish and holding them to make a profit, this is also a good way. because we can make a profit by investing and a steady income from the real world, we can still meet our needs, Although many people only focus on crypto and they can also earn income from crypto without having a job in the real world, but honestly I don't have the courage for that.
.
.I believe to enjoy crypto to its fullest. You need to have a side hustle for backup. In order not to make rash decisions.. with that you'll be cool headed and head the crypto way propely
