I believe such to be from competitors to tarnish the reputation of your business but it was nice you took a bold step to making sure such situation does not drain your efforts in your business. I was curious why it took the TP team almost a month to delete those fake reviews which was aimed at tarnishing the reputation of a business with no proof and evidence attached. They should be proactive in situations as sensitive as this so that peoples business does not crumble as a result of competitors trying their wicked act to tarnish business with their platform.
They very much rely on their software when it comes to detecting fake reviews, at least they told me so, and their algorithms detected only 5% fake reviews on my page. Trustpilot takes a neutral state in disputes when it comes to dealing with negative reviews, so it is sometimes hard to explain to them that the situation described in the review is fake (despite I was ready to provide all necessary evidence). Probably they don't have time to deal with all this dispute stuff. They also told me that they have a lot of requests coming every day, probably that's why it took them so long to review my case. It is certainly a bad situation since a great damage can be done to a business' reputation by such attacks. For me, it was a principle to delete these reviews since I hate to see lies posted about me
