Crypto gaming (GameFi) / Can cros rejuvenate gamefi ecosystem?.
« on: October 21, 2024, 10:58:46 PM »
It seems gaming projects are resurfacing, as I've been seeing a lot of comments about CROS on X. This is likely because it integrates non-intrusive, AI-optimized ads across gaming platforms, providing seamless monetization without disrupting gameplay.

What do you think of gaming projects like this, which leverage AI to create multiple ways for users to participate in the ecosystem

Hi everyone. Has anyone attended a blockchain masked party before? Please share your experiences. I'm considering going to one later this month!

Why a masked party for a blockchain conference? Is it some kind of illegal conference that doesn’t need people to show their face to the public? Calling it a party makes it abnormal to me though. If a blockchain is to be held, it should be to get to meet great minds that share similar thoughts and ideas and hiding your face in such gathering makes no sense to me though. I wonder how your blockchain masked party is going to be and how they decided to come up with such, you can share what you’re expecting it to be also, kinda how the conference is going to be like with masks on, I’m really curious to know about it.
Wearing a mask to a blockchain conference is better off not going at all because I don't see any reason why I would go to a gathering that I would hide my face for no reason. Going to a blockchain conference does not mean that you will be vulnerable to scam or attack by anyone, because if you don't brag about your crypto wealth no one would think you have any. Since bitcoin is not fiat that third party is involved, only if you are storing your coins in third party custody. It is a place to meet people to learn and buy whatever is brought there for sales if you are interested in them.

Probably because crypto/blockchain is decentralized and free. I'm guessing it'll be fun.

Women are getting into blockchain and web3 these days so I doubt if it'll just men. Plus women makes any party better. Don't you think?.
Lol, op's thread is very funny and so i understand the funny responses. However, it is true that there are women in the cryptocurrency industry, but i am not sure the number is large, i believe men still dominate the crypto industry and women are in the minority.

You're right. Men dominate. But I think women are keeping score

I am not so sure if I would like to attend a masked party even if it would be for the blockchain. I am hoping that OP can share more of the details of this conference. From time to time, I read in the news of many cryptocurrency-focused conferences...but a masked one would be a little strange...at least for me. I am not so sure if anybody here would be interested with this kind of a party/conference. Usually a masked party can be full of mystery or mystique...something that may run contrary to one goal of a conference which is networking with people of the same interest, focus and ideas.

I did a quick google search, It's actually part of Blockchain Life 2024, an event that's happening in Dubai and attendees will need to win tickets to join the party. Well the idea behind it is to add some fun and creativity to the event. it would add an element of mystery tho, but the goal is usually to network and connect with others face-to-face.

Oh this is an idea I was talking about ahah. It's fun, but I'm not in Dubai... Seems there's a dress code and some kinda giveaway tickets attached. Good luck to those that'll attend. When I meet up with my local crypto community. I'll propose this..

Masked party?

I think the problem with a blockchain party is that there will be only/mostly men lol

Maybe a conference is interesting to create some social network , meet people and learn stuff, but I want to have fun in parties  8)

DeFi tokens / Re: L2s Saturation And Opinion on Restaking projects
« on: October 17, 2024, 04:13:19 PM »
We're seeing many Layer 2 networks on Ethereum, now appearing on Bitcoin and BNB Chain. I think Layer 2 on BNB Chain is unnecessary.

Due to low success of previous L2 tokens, I've shifted focus to restaking projects on networks like TON, EigenLayer, or Sui, as they differ from L2 projects.

I've seen many restaking projects and I recently came across $Puffer on Eigen layer due to thier airdrop trending on X.
However, I would love see more suggestions, especially on the networks I mentioned above. What's your opinion on restaking projects?

I know puffer. The restaking protocol with 1ETH criteria. It's trending cos it makes native retaking on eth chain accessible.. I'm a trader though not a liquidity hunter but I'm guessing this would be good. Or you can explore the token, it's available for trading already and also launchoools/staking. Dyor

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Is trading all about luck?
« on: October 16, 2024, 09:00:25 AM »
Luck always helps but never at the right time. Then it is necessary to learn why and how to trade and after that the more experience we have, the more we see the advantage in trading. Trading is not like we do by luck.  As gambling, when we are going to trade, we need to gather learning resources that can help us achieve accurate and profitable trading strategies.

Yeah, there is a difference from gambling, - the fact that you can utilize may factors and do your own research before entering the position, whereas in gambling you know for sure that only luck would push your progress and potential profit.
Gambling as people keep seeing it can't be generally categorize as trading I think I have mentioned this before that people always term it trading to be gambling. If they are trading trusted coins such as bitcoin then it's not gambling because you would hardly lose your coin, since there is enough liquidity in bitcoin unlike other newly launched coins.

People saying trading is gambling is like insulting those that spent years honing their skills

Sui has gained significant attention after rising 120% in just one month. I believe now is the time to start accumulating, as there are talks that it could reach $5 soon. My suggestion is to take advantage of any opportunities you find—this is giving off major bull market vibes.

Also, could you explain the reason behind this surge? https://coinmarketcap.com/community/articles/670ca7831ad4ea04c7e059a4

Meme Coins / Re: What's the next memecoin craze?
« on: October 12, 2024, 07:28:03 AM »
We know that the cryptocurrency space, including memecoin, is a very dynamic space and the transition period is quite fast...

After telegram changed people's habits to participate in the memecoin airdrop program, there is a big chance that a new hype transition will occur... Maybe there will be another excitement about a new game with a new concept that will become something big next....

The t2e scheme may be expiring soon, so do you have any views on the new hype that will replace the telegram tap to earn mechanism?
..

Sorry was T2e? That's a new concept im not familiar with ahahah.

Meme Coins / Re: Which do you prefer, memes on Ethereum or Solana?
« on: October 12, 2024, 07:27:10 AM »
Of course, Solana, this time.
Yes, because now Solana is much more hype than the one on Ethereum. In fact, it's been a long time since I knew that there were still meme coins that use the Ethereum network. Because, with the same speed, the amount of fees is different. Solana is much smaller than the fee on Ethereum. Yes, maybe the gas for the fee is very low right now, but as time goes by and the price of ETH increases, it will definitely increase too. So rather than having a hard time because of the fee, it's better to look for the one on Solana, it's more worth it and it's also more hype now. Oh yeah, on TON too, but we really have to be careful and be ready for all the risks.

Well from experience, I think eth has more cult memes than Solana. I've made the most money from eth memes and I plan to replicate that strategy with moondeng.

Would use this weekend to find an entry. You could see it's ready to takeoff from the charts. Nfa

The market wasn't looking good but from the recent looks at SEI, SOL & ETH which are trying to make a bullish comeback could be the stepping stone but could they maintain the momentum?
While SEI had broken the Adam & Eve pattern stabilizing above the 0.236 Fibonacci level suggests a strong investor confidence; SOL also has tested the $135 support & corrected losses hoping to clear $144 resistance, and ETH on the other hand is targeting a comeback as it has tested the $2320 support and aiming for a fresh increase above $2420 resistance. Also potential projects like COMAI & the likes launching on ETH could boost its potential IMHO.

This could be the mark of a bullish market should they successfully continue with the momentum but you know market is a funny thing & highly unpredictable.
I don't know about SEI but I can see it performs well today better than the others you've mentioned so if you got some of SEI then you probably are in profit for holding but if not then I don't know what makes them green maybe they are just part of the normal volatility in the market.

I think most alts have bottomed out generally. And we just need a stable BTC trend to achieve something better. AI tokens like COMAI are doing well.

I noticed gamefi and memes too..

Meme Coins / Which do you prefer, memes on Ethereum or Solana?
« on: October 11, 2024, 07:23:48 PM »

Hey everyone, it looks like we're in the middle of another meme rally. Memes like Popcat, Neiro, and Neirocto are performing well, but the one making the biggest splash right now seems to be Moondeng. It's on ETH, has some solid backing, and has a total supply of 420.69 billion tokens.

Is anyone else following this? Do you think it has the potential to reach a triple-digit market cap?

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / Re: Are ordinals still a thing?
« on: October 10, 2024, 04:53:44 AM »
I remember that there was massive hype on meme coins in BRC20 projects, like ORDI and more, but I also just realized they are not really showing up anymore on my timeline since it's been months. So what's the current state of Ordinals now?

if some of you don't know what Ordinals is, it's basically designed to inscribe data onto individual satoshis, you can add things like images, text or even audio files directly to the bitcoin blockchain. Pretty cool technology imo, but I saw some guys really hated the concept, is this because it's spamming the network? I believe anything new is a good addition to crypto space.

I remember this wave of BTC ecosystem, runes, brc20 network brought about ordinals, sats, rats and so many more projects. But the hype died down though. Probably with the attention on Oglong launchpad on runes, we might see some of the brc20, runes, cats projects spring up..

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Fear or greed
« on: October 06, 2024, 11:43:20 PM »
Hopefully this falls under trading.
I'm gonna make it short
There are two emotions i believe dictates trade and leads to either gains or losses. Fear and greed.
They are like every investors companion.
Which do you think is more dangerous?

As a trader for over 2 years..I'll suggest greed is less dangerous.
