I dont know about you guys but for me the most annoying thing about this dollar issue is the lackadaisical attitude of our government to employ stern rules towards this increase in price
When dollar goes up price of goods follow but when dollar comes down price of food doesn't follow they will tell you its old stocks that they bought when dollar was up it is then left to the government to implement rules demanding that price be reversed
But no all they care about is the money they can fit into their pockets
Corruption has so eaten deep into the system that hope no longer looks visible

Omo if I'm being sincere at this point I don't even believe Nigerians have a voice the last protest we were supposed to do I really had high hopes for it but it still didn't turn out well
If we tried protesting it's just going to be a repetition of the lekki gate incident lowkey I don give up on the country
Corruption has eaten way too deep into the economy
Meanwhile T-pain doesn't even know what is going on

Don't give up. You know why the October first protest was not like the previous one because Nigeria police were on the neck of the sponsor and other leaders of the protest. Protest has not started but they have started arrested some key members. Till now most of the protesters are still in prison. And these are things police need to support the citizens to liberate the country instead they are supporting the oppressive leaders who are working for the World Bank and IMF. What was happening in the colonial time is still happening now. British is still ruling Nigeria and they don't want to let go of it. Any president that enter and fall for their hands, they used the person very well. All those Dangote refineries are just foe formalities they are behind everything. They are using NNPC to distabilizing everything in the oil sector. Nigeria will never have 24 hours like if a drastic steps is not taking...
That is something I don't still get about the police is it that they receive special treatment from the government or this economy nor dey touch them because I don't understand
I actually thought the nigeria police and soldiers will be on the side of the citizens because truly Things are no longer funny
But still they were arresting and beating up protesters
It's so disappointing

That aside you said I should not give up but I don't see a reason not to
Or can you give me some reasons I shouldn't.
1 create of egg is literally about to hit 10k
So person nor go still fit chop egg again

Trading (Not crypto) / Re: Forex experience
« on: October 16, 2024, 08:25:24 PM »
I personally have gone through a lot since I became a forex trader
What's that experience that you will never forget since you started trading

The one I will never forget is the day I started to trade after my successful completion of my one month training about forex. I was so happy to find my first account in order to cash out big since I feel the knowledge I have was sufficient enough for me to be profitable. Little did I know that learning from the chats also is another long journey you need to master on your own and not just the theoretical aspect you’ve learned initially.

Practice makes perfect they said. Trading with real account is the only time you can tell whether you’re okay to trade the forex market or not or still needs more time to learn how the market moves. You’ll think you’re a pro, till you fund and start trading. My first few trades gave me good profit and I made 70% of my capital but to my greatest surprise I lost them all that night because of greed and wanting to earn more. After I lost it was when I realized I was just scalping and not trading.
Thank you so much for this
I have always told people that you never how good you are until you actually start trading with a real account
Then you know how much control you have over your emotions and your dept in the understand of the charts
You may think you are not greedy till you start trading and then fund yourself revenge trading 😅😅
It's funny because when I was learning there's a lot of things I never thought I would do or rather that I told my self I won't do but ended up doing them

Trading (Not crypto) / Re: Relevance of a good trend line
« on: October 16, 2024, 08:19:33 PM »
That is also true but I do have a question
Why is it that in some cases my trend line will be different from that of another person
I mean we can literally be in the same pair and the same time frame but still draw 2 different trend line expecially when using a 1 hour time frame
Or has it just happened to me

Where you learn from and your understanding of the market differs from each other, you may be trading on the same pair and also same time frame but if you don’t have same understanding of the trendline, it’ll definitely be different. Also what can cause the trendline to differ again is the way you as a person sees the market well than the other person. Some people can look deeper into the market than the other person, this is just pure knowledge and not some kind of scalping or guess work. And the more you can look and see into the market, the more you can get to win more trades than losses.
Wow I honestly never thought about it that way
Obviously you've been in the system for quite some time now

Well I'm sorry I didn't specify I meant an experience in crypto generally not the forum
Like maybe you were once scammed or both a shit coin or you were hacked things like that

Well, it's important that we ask questions like this, especially for the newbies or those who are new to certain things. I have had little tough experience in my few months in the crypto space. One of my experience, which happens to be my first was my failure to keep my passwords/login details properly. That mistake literally cost me all my funds as at that time. To be honest, it wasn't easy starting all over again. So, I will advise you to try as much to keep anything relating to login details very safe. Your seed phrase, Pkeys and other sensitive details that gives you access to either your funds or any other thing, should be kept properly. And I hope you don't fall victim after reading about my experience.
Hopefully I won't thanks for sharing your experience with us

OP, there are lots of crypto experience I have had in the past, but I think this few I would just highlight are just very necessary because they have to do with security and safety  of asset.

Not every website you should give access or permission to your wallet and if you must do that, use a new wallet with no funds in it and after you are done, terminate or disconnect the wallet from the website because you might want to use it in the future and possibly forgotten that you used it in the past to connect to a website and if disconnected, you are safe otherwise your asset if sent to that wallet would be at risk. I have had this experience in the past were I connected a wallet to a website and did some transaction, unknown to me that I did not disconnect it after I was done with transaction. I left it and after a while, I used the wallet to store some assets forgetting that it was still connected. I left the assets there thinking it was fully protected not knowing that it has been drained and that was how I lost assets and funds stored in that wallet.

Secondly, your key phrase is another thing you should not yoke with because if it happens, it is always like a dream you watching you assets appreciating in value and you have no access to them again. It is very painful that such would happened as a result that the mistake was from you not properly saving your keys to your assets. That is one of the most painful experience and it would always be a thing of regret because  it was at your disposal to save your keys but maybe one reason or the other you did not or were not able to do that immediately. I have had this experience in the past were I did not the keys to my wallet holding some fraction of bitcoin and it happened as a result of my wallet malfunctioning and a crash. Till this day that asset keep  increasing in value and I can not access it. That thought me a big lesson to always write down my key phrase up opening any wallet for which I will make use of.

Haven had these experience, I would advise to always do well to save your key phrase when ever you open a new wallet because you never can tell the next minute and lastly, do not leave your wallet connected to  any website, do well to disconnect it immediately after you are done with your task to be on the safe side because you just might want to use it again forgetting about your past engagements or maybe some of the engagements might pay you off and for the fact that the wallet is still connected, it might get drained. You just have to always be on the safe side by protecting your wallets and assets.
Wow.thats crazy I'm really grateful for this I actually do not disconnect my wallets from those sites I had no idea they can be used to scam I wasn't cautioned about that
I guess I will be more vigilant about that now

Trading (Not crypto) / Re: Forex signals
« on: October 15, 2024, 02:18:57 PM »
I usually dont advice someone who has the intention of becoming a forex trader to start by joining signal groups. Most of these channels are just there to help the owners find their own trading journey while you serve as the fund providers. Not that they don't actually drop good signals but then you cannot be 100% sure if they are good with the market. It might just be someone who is also in other signal groups, coping and sending these signals for others and making money our of them.
Again, this will slow down your learning ability. Forex is broad and if you are ready to learn and break into your financial freedom, the. You should try your best to study the technical and psychological analysis of the market. This will help you in your journey to becoming a profitable trader.

Well in that case what if the person is actually earning alot from these signals been dropped
I know it will really cause a retardation in the growth of the person's ability but isn't the aim to earn more money

That is very true 😅 I remember I would always think that if I don't enter on time then the amount of Profit I'm not make will be reduced and back then I usually don't have the patience to wait for my trade to get to take Profit in any slight bearish movement I cash out
Now that I think of it it's funny if you ask me

I have experienced a lot in my trading journey both in forex and a crypto market but the particular experience that I would never forget is the experience prior to me trading where I paid an individual to teach me how to trade and the individual only taught me how to spot resistance and trend lines and then told me that I was okay to go and start practicing but can join his signal group for a fee if I wanted to be earning. I was very disappointed because I knew all these from YT videos already and was expecting more. I discovered at the end that I just wasted that money, but that was the motivation to learn. This was a long time ago, but I clearly recall.
Wow that's crazy in my opinion you have every right to call someone like that a scammer he clearly didn't know what he was doing himself

Good day everyone
Well I don't really know if something like this has been done here before but I would want our people that has been on the cryptocurrency game foe some time now to drop some of their experiences either good or bad and also drop advice that will help newbies to overthose situations

Life time ban was very very appropriate alot of people most have placed bets on that game and lost but they made alot of profits because they already knew the outcome of the game
It's unfair to the spectators
