One of the things I hate to see the most are those projects who come out first claiming to be community focused projects, but once it's time for shared benefits, most of the allocation goes to a selected few when the rest are left to share the scraps...Some of you should already know what I'm making reference to. There are only a few communities that really offer benefits to their holders and it makes me wonder, what's the use of a community if it doesn't put the interest of it's members first? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Crypto gaming (GameFi) / Standard of GameFi projects
« on: November 02, 2024, 05:49:12 PM »
I've seen a lot of GameFi projects but I've not really still seen much that really put a lot of effort into the gameplay aspect, most just focus on the digital currency while making a game that's sad to day...subpar. Why is this so?

Is there a huge crypto holloween party?
The particular even that has been said was the election as said, Trump is about to win that's why crypto is rising and it's all because Trump is crypto supporter.

There isn't something that will make crypto pump but just the halving unfortunately it will take place that long. Bull run takes time before it commence.

Your experience on Crypto is quite interesting to say. Airdrops are just a hit and run engagements. Already some projects have started their Halloween party and if you do your research properly, you would get more clues on the events and how to go about it.
Obviously, these periods seems to be short as a result of the nature of the celebration and it is always like that when it comes to engagements of this nature. You should also have it in mind that these period is a festive season and it is short hence projects would set up giveaways for their Participants  to also share the joy of the season as it comes. Do not expect it to be forever as they can not be able to afford such expenses.
Of course, who can maintain such expenses forever. That's why I said I like the end of the year period because that's exactly when we get to see those events. Besides I don't think events will be half as interesting if they are never ending hahaha, it's just something for the benefit of both parties while also giving back to the community.

Meme Coins / Re: Meme coins creativity has no limits

There was a meme I saw back in the day about someone sneaking a banana with a tape into a museum and displaying it as art. The funniest part was that people actually started associating meaning to the "art". It was a very funny meme back in the day Well, I just saw it now became a meme coin name BAN lol. It just shows how more creativity the crypto space allows, it was unfortunate I wasn't able find much info about the token but it was still interesting nonetheless. Still, I'd appreciate info from those who know more. TQ

As for me i don't know whether i should accept all these their way of naming projects a creativity or another child's play they are just adopting in whining away peoples time, anyone that was launched successfully and reward their participants delightfully may be seen as a creative one from their way of project name, just as the common adage says, we don't judge a book by its cover.
I get what you mean, memecoins like this just seem like money grabbers. Still, I've never views one's like this as long term investments, it's just for riding the hype and then taking profit. That's just how I feel that's why I'm not particularly against them lol.

Participating in events and staking has always been the best part of my crypto journey...except getting airdrops of course. That's why I always look forward to the end of the year since there are always events and crypto parties from Halloween till the new year. The only annoying part is that this period usually feels like the shortest part of the year but it's still great either way. I've already attended some crypto parties just in the short span Still, it will be nice to get recommendations of crypto parties and events that probably happen annually or impressive ones you have seen recently. TQ

DeFi tokens / Re: RPC providers: What even are they?
« on: October 18, 2024, 03:54:33 PM »
I saw a project called OMNIA, it's something called a RPC provider, at first I was confused about what it was, ngl I still am but from what I could learn about it, it's a "SubQuery network participant who is responsible for serving RPC queries for blockchain data to their customers" according to Google.

According to what I could learn about the project, it offers a unified interface for decentralized blockchain access with advanced functionality. But even then the whole thing is still going over my head a bit so I just had to table it down. Do you guys know about this project or just what a RPC provider is in general, it will be nice to get a nice clear explanation about it. Tq

I don’t know much about it, but since it’s a DePIN project, I’ll check it out. From what I’ve read on CoinMarketCap, DePIN could be the next big bullish narrative. Given that omnia provides scalable and reliable blockchain infrastructure, offering seamless access between wallets, dApps, and nodes, I believe it's already trading on some platforms. You can do further research into it.
Yeah, I have already done my research since then. I did see that it got listed on certain exchanges. Saw that of Gate, Bitget, and Mexc so I guess you're right, the project has been seeming more interesting the more I look through it especially the feature of Seamless connection so it really was a good read.

DeFi tokens / Re: What purpose do native tokens serve outside the ecosystem
« on: September 29, 2024, 09:09:09 PM »
Yeah, profit is one but not the most important reason instead, it is for exposure. When an exchange token gets listed on other exchanges it basically turns attention towards them especially if the token is doing well. Look at ZCX as an example. It recently got listed on Bitget and has a pretty positive price trend, which means people are going to be holding it and out of those people, some will want to make use of the tokens features, which is good news for the DEX, simple.

Crypto gaming (GameFi) / Are there any GameFi projects worth checking out?
« on: September 26, 2024, 06:40:48 PM »
Just like what the title suggests, I'd like to know if there are any GameFi projects worth exploring. Don't get me wrong, there are some amazing GameFi projects with tokens that are doing pretty well but most of them have repetitive game play.

Some might be thinking that such things don't matter but isn't the whole idea of GameFi mostly a very interactive game with blockchain technology? When you just give subpar games, it takes the fun out of the project only leaving the P2E aspect. So back to the question, have you guys noticed any GameFi project worth checking out?
