Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Who knows about Tomarket?
« on: December 25, 2024, 06:47:23 AM »
I joined this airdrop by chance when completing tasks from other airdrops.... This tomato themed P2E telegram based airdrop had a lot of popularity like that of HMSTR and XEmpire....
I guess their airdrop ended by October 31st and TGE is concluded.... Is there anyone that knows about this token?

After all time spent on mining I wasn't still eligible to get their token... I wonder if they really distributed their token to users, you could share your experience if you received any....

And also, has this coin been listed on CEX? I couldn't trace from my research on CMC

Hi. Yeah they actually did list, but the listing price wasn't really good. The project disappointed it's users. But platforms like Bit get has an ongoing Poolx initiative, where you stake your allocated TOMA and earn more while the initiative is on. Tbh, tap to earn projects are fading already. I'll suggest we look for more productive airdrops..

Nigerian Languages / Re: memecoins could be your way out this bull season
« on: November 17, 2024, 08:20:05 AM »
Yes of course a lot of meme coins are actually pumping because of the effect of the bull run. The fact is although it may seem nice to see so meme coins this period with profits of about 3x even more, they can still be very difficult sometimes to predict. The idea is meme coins are just too volatile for you to risk investing in the wrong ones that's the more reason people are scared of it.

To an extent , this period is actually a good time to farm some meme coins and that of course is if you have the right information and also understand how they work. I've seen some tweets about some like PNUT and even ACT that seem to still be pumping.

Yes.. meme coins always lead the bull market..the other time it was SHIBA, DOGE, PEPE. now it's the likes of WIF, PNUT, POPCAT. You can also add hippo. It's a mover on SUI ecosystem. Memecoins are looking primed for takeoff this period

Sui has experienced impressive growth recently, bringing plenty of new opportunities. The updates and improvements across the Sui network have driven strong growth in several areas. As a Layer 1 network, Sui is not only faster but also cheaper than Solana, and almost every aspect of it offers potential for profit during this bull run.

Developer activity has increased by 219% since January 2024, and Total Value Locked (TVL) has exceeded $900 million. The decentralized identity feature on Sui is also gaining attention, with SuiNS as a prime example. SuiNS is focused on giving people a blockchain-based identity through Sui’s naming service, allowing users to create human-readable names for wallet addresses, dApps, and more. Holders of SuiNS Airdrop NFTs will gain additional perks once SuiNS is live on exchanges tomorrow.

This is just one example of the benefits offered by a new Layer 1 blockchain with cutting-edge technology. Are you following along?

Nigerian Languages / memecoins could be your way out this bull season

Solana memeocoins like ACT, PNUT, make incredible gains recently few weeks after getting popular, this got me thinking. Memecoins could really have an impact if the game is played well. So what's your strategy for meme coins traders and which are you looking rn. I'm checking out sundog and hippo.

DeFi tokens / Who’s farming XION?
« on: November 12, 2024, 07:52:18 PM »

With the market looking healthy and in the green, I think we’ll start seeing a lot of utility projects launching soon. I’ve been farming XION for a while since it’s a Layer 1 affiliate, and it seems like it’s about to go live—they’ve already announced the airdrop allocation. Did you get yours?

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / Re: What are some good tokens to stake?
« on: November 10, 2024, 02:08:01 PM »
When people talk about stake, they usually talk about staking coin rather than token. Anyway, the fact you asked this question probably means you're not ready to take such high risk. So i would suggest you to buy Bitcoin or popular altcoin and optionally stake it (altcoin which use PoS) on service you can trust.

You're right..staking less volatile assets is the real deal..BTC, eth, sol, egld, near, sui, tia used to be good but it's now volatile so I wouldn't advise that??

Technical Discussion / Re: Which blockchains are the fastest?
« on: November 10, 2024, 02:05:39 PM »
CoinGecko made a study of the fastest blockchains, it is about daily average transactions per second (TPS)
Solana reached a record high of 1,504 on 6th April.

Interestingly, Bitcoin is only on the 20th place

Source: https://www.coingecko.com/research/publications/fastest-blockchains?utm_campaign=Data%2BVisualization&utm_medium=social

What do you think, how important is speed and what does it mean for the future of each blockchain?

It is no doubt that Solana still takes the lead amongst the fastest blockchain in the world of blockchains although it has encountered a bug that made its network to freeze on one or two occasions (https://www.binance.com/en-NG/square/post/250616), it has remained the fastest chain so far.

Solana..but maybe klaytyn would flip it or probably solana

Nigerian Languages / Re: Hope you're framing paws
« on: November 10, 2024, 07:19:26 AM »
Ive seen some people online sharing their invitation links to this new project. I guess it's similar to dogs? I don't really know as am not a fan of airdrops... Recently most of these things no longer make sense as they keep paying their participants dusts coins that aren't worth their time. Imagine the time and days you will use to build a profile and end up not getting paid well. As for this paw, it doesn't need tap or much activity just to join and keep inviting.. but  let's not hope much as well..

It's giving dogs feeling though

Cryptocurrency discussions / Your top performing alts in the bull run
« on: November 09, 2024, 01:51:00 PM »
Hi happy weekend everyone. Weekends for me are when I do deep research and position for the week. So a quick one. Which alts do you think will perform better in the bull run. Share your opinions below .

Futures traders will be at higher risk, especially those shorting Bitcoin. Setting stop losses and taking profits will be key. Additionally, trading while earning through an exchange promotion that provides other coins as rewards could be beneficial, even if one incurs losses.
Have you traded futures before? The reward the exchanges are giving are not much, they are small amount. And that is if you traded high amount of money or you are using leverage up to the amount required. Not all exchanges will give the reward. Many of the exchanges will not give you the reward. If you are a new trader on an exchange, do not let that also deceives you.

I would be interested to hear people's opinions on Bitcoin's next move. What strategies would you recommend to be more careful, and any event suggestions to earn while trading?
Hold or do not use more than 1x leverage.

That's true. Most of the platforms rewards are based on volumes and as a retail trader, might not be suitable. But some are not bad imo. They cater to retail traders and make their requirements easy.

A simple Google search would bring results though. For BTC, I think we'll see a bullish trend moving forward. First stop $80k

I won't mention any exchange but what are your thoughts on this development and how it may impact the crypto exchange landscape?
I sure hope it leads to better security and reliability. Hiring talented engineers means nothing if the executive plans to milk the users as much as possible. We saw this happening in other industries like gaming, entertainment, etc. A competitive market is a good thing since it means users will get better service unless all of them decide to offer terrible products because they don't get any complain at all.

Also do you know of any new hire that can bring a positive impact to a particular exchange?
Do you mean high-profile hire like a new CEO? I mean all high-profile positions can affect the exchange's image on the market. Ambassadors can be a thing too. They're quite effective in attracting new users to use a service even if they're not familiar with crypto. CMIIW.

All organizations needs capable hands improve to their services especially in the crypto sector, giving tthat compliance is now an important aspect... Key figures are needed to navigate compliance and ensure expansion in key regions..

These are some of the latest hires trending on Google recently. Anyone gets your attention??

Solana Forum / Re: Solana ETF and its impact
« on: November 04, 2024, 04:43:20 PM »
If solana ETF is approved it will make solana price go up, if bitcoin price goes up and crypto market is green. but if bitcoin price goes down i think solana price will follow bitcoin even if solana ETF is approved, like we see ethereum ETF which has no positive impact on ethereum price at all even though it has been approved.
Of course, SOL will increase much if Solana ETF can be approved. But how if Solana ETF won't be approved? It is possible that there is a rejection or delay for the approval. I think we can't rely on the Solana ETF only.

Whenever Bitcoin is decreasing much, altcoins must follow it as well. Solana is a part of the altcoins, so it is a must that SOL price will decline, too.

I don't think we'll see an altseason unless BTC can hit $100K this season. Those round numbers as 100K are huge for driving FOMO and making investors more confident about buying alts like SOL, which could trigger a massive market rally.
Does it mean $100k for Bitcoin is a must?
Sure, if Bitcoin really reaches $100k, there must be a huge FOMO/hype on the crypto field.
NO doubt that this easily triggers for massive increase in most crypto coins.

BTC is primed to hit $100k. If all goes well we can see the price probably next year

Ethereum Forum / Re: Overview of Crypto and ETH Staking
« on: November 03, 2024, 04:16:53 PM »
Decentralized crypto staking platforms seem like another good thing in crypto. I've been wondering how their governance tokens will succeed.

Like ETH staking and other assets staking. I found one lately called Zircuit built on Ethereum and mostly focused on ETH staking. It caught my attention because of the investors. But I wonder if this token will be a good one to invest in.

Anyone knows about the listings or any more support apart from the ones listed on the website?
Also what's your opinion on these kinds of governance tokens?

Defi staking has always been a thing from the onset, but not most people leverage the opportunity. I don't know much about Zircuit but from the quick twitter search I did their leveraging zk rolloup technology and it's EVM compatible. If it'll do well I really have no idea but it's on pre market atm, you can search exchanges that offers those, or if you're staking eigen, you'll likely get the drop.
