I’ve seen many projects list, gain hype, then traction but fade away. All in a span of one year and it’s rampant this year. Will we ever see a community grow to be as strong as the big 3? Even XRP that’s been dead for years still have a loyal community.

Yes, absulatly correct opinion you could express in your post. I also know that in 2018 bitcoin price is also increase 6x profit. I also believe that in this time bitcoin carried in bull run in cryptocurrency market. I think that within a short time bitcoin price is also increase gradually in cryptocurrency market. Because we know that US president donald trump also support in cryptocurrency. So i believe that it will be best turning point for crypto currency market. So i also believe and expect in bitcoin bull run in cryptocurrency market.

So after Donald trump, what happens to the market? Remember he can only serve one more term and that’s 4 years.

A lot of those users who have been around since 2016 always remember the ICO time where even the bounty hunters are making $100k and above at the peak of bull market.

The altcoin market wasn't that good after that time. It's like people have learned a lot to avoid altcoins because of how bad it turned out in the bear market.

If there’s a bear run after a bear market and vice versa, surely they’ll always be a bull market. Isn’t that how the cycle works?

Also about altcoins, I myself am very cautious when I deal with them. Right now, I only invest in an Altcoin that has real utility.

Are you referring to the general crypto market or a token?

I wasn’t really active untill 2019 and crypto and blockchains have existed way before that.

My first bullrun experience was 2020 and to me no bullrun is yet to topple its record since then. This cycle looks promising but unless it lasts longer, I do not think it is still going to break that record.

What do you think?

Other Popular Cryptos / Coins / How far would you go for cheap fees?
« on: December 10, 2024, 10:54:07 PM »
Since 2020, Telegram rubbed me off the wrong way. I feel like it’s filled with scammers—even though I know that’s not totally true. So, I try to limit my interaction with the app as much as possible. But recently, with the mini-game airdrop wave on Telegram, some exchanges have launched mini-app versions of their platforms for Telegram. As I mentioned earlier, I barely use Telegram, so I didn’t care much at first.

However, being the cheapskate that I am, anything discounts attracts me like crazy, regardless of how much money I make. So when I saw some of these apps were giving rebates as high as 50% for using, Ladies and gents, I now identify as a Telegram power user 😀.

It doesn’t matter the level of status, I’d reach, I’ll still be the same.

how about you guys? What would you do for reduced fees? I know I’m not the only one like this.

Incentivised Posting / Shill / Exploring NFT marketplaces
« on: December 08, 2024, 07:09:02 PM »
Outside of losing bands over crypto (mostly due to bad planning on my part), I’m still a big Web3 believer. As an avid gamer, I’ve decided to shift my strategy and align it with my hobby: NFTs!

Back when I first heard about NFTs, OpenSea was (and still is) the hot spot. But the fees gave me pause. So, I did some digging and stumbled upon Magic Eden. It’s multi-chain like OpenSea but is mostly focused on gamer NFTs. They’ve got low fees, a market aggregator, and solid gaming collaborations. Plus, their focus on supporting creators, buyers, and sellers equally is a big plus for me.

One thing I always check out—whether it’s a game or an app—is the UI. Magic Eden’s interface is intuitive, uncluttered, and easy to navigate, making it a perfect base for me to start exploring NFTs further. I’m planning to dive deeper, mess around with gaming assets, and see where it takes me.

What about you guys? What NFT marketplaces do you use and why? Are you creating, investing, or just exploring?

Heck, the day I visited Forkdelta feels way too far now. I think this shows that the competition is fierce, even though it's good for retail users in general. I think it will be worse if we still see old-school DEX like Forkdelta being recommended today.

Could it be a UI problem? Liquidity pool? If it were fixed would you go back?

DeFi tokens / Re: Why Do Gas Fees Decide Who Gets to Cut the Line?
« on: December 08, 2024, 11:06:11 AM »

Without centralization there is no actual queue, you can send your tx and normally it would be broadcasted immediately to all nodes around you and then entered in most miners' mem pools, but, transactions don't have universally accepted dates attached to them like bank transfers, what might be a 1-month-old tx for a node might be a 1 second old for other, you will never be able to queue transactions unless you have a central ledger, aka centralization.

You’re about to trigger a whole rant on consensus mechanisms.

DeFi tokens / Re: Why Do Gas Fees Decide Who Gets to Cut the Line?

Because someone could create 1 million transactions at the minimum scripting fee and you will have no way to do anything but wait in queue after this guy

So basically to combat dos?

No, it's the free-market with no central point that everyone wants, suddenly you don't like the laws of supply and demand?

I understand demand/supply is present whoever there’s any kind of market. But I was thinking, it would be a little different from how  centralization does it. Besides I know this transactions happen in literal seconds or minutes and I might not really notice the delay but the thought of someone hopping positions is just…

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) / DEX from 2020 are you still using till now?
« on: December 07, 2024, 10:55:30 AM »
I know I used pancake swap a lot in 2022. But since then, I’ve been experimenting and using different DEXs I can’t keep count on.

How about you guys?

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) / Re: What i should look in a dex?
« on: December 07, 2024, 10:52:29 AM »
If you’re a newbie and only trade in little amounts, look for intuitive DEXs. Most times this apps are built for newbies and will most times take care of most of what you’ll be doing without overwhelming you.
If you’re maxi trader, check for DEXs with deep liquidity pools. If you use DEXs with low liquidity pools or whirlwind pools, you’ll end up paying higher fees.

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) / Why ORCA stands out among DEXs
« on: December 07, 2024, 10:45:37 AM »
Hey guys, happy weekend..let's talk about projects on Solana asides memecoins.
Orca on Solana has been a pretty solid option for me lately. It's simple to use, but still offers features like CLMM pools and Jupiter integration to help you find the best prices. Compared to Raydium or Saber, Orca’s interface just feels cleaner and more straightforward, especially if you're new to DeFi or Solana.

But even for seasoned traders, it doesn’t disappoint—still got all the good stuff like low slippage and efficient liquidity in case trading on Cex is boring to you, you could try Dex like this. For me I'll be looking to hold the token though, since Solana is up bulloshly, it's only logical that it's ecosystem projects could follow the path. What do you think?

Sadly, airdrops are about referrals now and it’s oversaturated now. If you own a huge community, then it’s a possibility, otherwise you’re getting peanuts.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Altcoins season looks uncertain this year.

It looks like it’s Dino season. Altcoins are still sluggish. Might see some price action but not this year. Emphasis on might.
