Forum related / Re: Seems people forgot about giving Karma
« on: August 22, 2024, 01:27:37 PM »
The reason may be that it is not a rare thing and everyone can send it, and merit sources are not relied upon in choosing who to join the campaign, as some people were accepted and had low Karma, and others were rejected and had more than 200 Karma.

Giving Karma to posts and replies instead of the account may encourage more Karma use, create high-quality posts, and recognize high-quality posts.

If the Lightning Network succeeds in increasing scalability, there are still limitations, as any decentralized system that has an interval of 10 minutes between each block will be slow if it is used by 1 billion or 5 billion users.
If the time is reduced to a minute or less, the network will be slower and will be very crowded on occasions or when there are many transactions being broadcast, and even central networks may face problems if they are used by 5 billion users at the same time.
Bitcoin will not be used for everyday payments by everyone but it could be a good investment for everyone.

I have a habit of bookmarking important websites, including Coinomize.biz. I don't want to send BTC to hackers behind other fake addresses, especially when I need to quickly mix my BTC.

Ubuntu OS is a good system, but it is the #1 choice for beginners and it may not be completely safe if you use it carelessly.
Creating an airgapped wallet is easier. Using tails and an old computer, you will be safe from most vulnerabilities and using your phone to track your balance.
Being secure in terms of privacy is a more difficult choice, and mixers are one of the ways that help you enhance your privacy.
Pass the connection through Tor and send your coins through Coinomize or any mixer and it will be very difficult to track you.

A lot of people still believe Bitcoin won't grow more than it is now, a friend of mine said years back that Bitcoin won't grow more than it was and for that he won't bother investing on Bitcoin again that he will prefer investing in new coins coming up so he went ahead and invested in a certain new coin which later dropped in value and he lost his money and Bitcoin grew and he regretted.
Bitcoin has a good future very soon more countries of the world will accept Bitcoin and it will start being used as a means of payment and it will even grow more in price the future of Bitcoin is very bright and I will urge everyone to take bitcoin investment very serious.
I don't think countries will use Bitcoin as a means of payment even if they wanted to, as the number of transactions on the network is limited and everyone using Bitcoin will lead to very high transaction fees. The best we will get for the next 50 years is to use it to diversify central bank reserves or for companies to keep 1% of it to enhance their liquidity or diversify their investments.

Whose loss to this, the action of Vitalik dumping Neiro to the market? That will be the investors who bought Neiro, thinking that they have bought a profiting memecoins for the future
The dev team may have bought it and paid 44.53 ETH to prove that the token can be liquidated much better than Vitalik tweeting that he couldn't sell his tokens. The team will try to pump the price again but I think that will be the end of it and they will be satisfied with what they made.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Eth staking/savings options. Your opinion?.
« on: August 17, 2024, 05:36:16 AM »
As a trader, I choose to use Ethereum for trading rather than staking, because the results are greater from trading. But for those who choose to hold for the long term, staking is a profitable way to earn a small profit by waiting. So actually everything is adjusted to your plans and goals in investing, long term or short term.
In the long run, you care more about the value of the cryptocurrency and its potential increase than the Staking Reward. What is the benefit of getting a 30% annual return while the coin loses 50% of its value annually? Cardano ADA gives Staking Reward but its price does not rise well.

Forum related / Re: Rules in the signature campaign, weird or not?
« on: August 17, 2024, 05:27:39 AM »
Before the representative were banned in Bitcointalk we never got an explanation from them about this rule yet they enforced it and excluded some of their campaign participants from their campaign without payment.

They also have this rule that signature campaign payments are sent to a wallet address within the service, I don't know if they control those wallets or not but they can restrict you from withdrawing due to non-compliance with the service rules.

You must provide a bech32 address from your Cryptomus wallet.

I thought India banned cryptocurrencies or didn’t allow trading. This is good news, Indians have a large community spread across the world who do money transfers between many countries and cryptocurrencies will definitely provide them with faster money transfers and cheaper fees, it is also a good investment opportunity.

I did not find a platform called Biman Exchange. Do you mean BitMart or Binance?
Buying tokens is profitable if you want to trade but from what I understand you are looking for investment and investing in tokens is not profitable.
so Buy bitcoin

I wonder if the difficulty of making a legally binding deal with the owner also contribute to this. Well who knows what they factor in their marketing decision, I guess a lack of budget isn't one of them if they can throw millions easily.
The lack of budget is definitely not the reason, but the target audience, whoever visits Bitcointalk definitely knows about cryptocurrencies and definitely knows about binance and crypto.com, so these companies target customers who may not have heard of Bitcoin before or have very little information about cryptocurrencies.

Unfortunately some company have questionable money allocation. But in this case, it's especially weird when they have 1.5 rating on Trustpilot
The partnership was accepted even though 70% of the reviews gave them one star and it does not seem that they will do anything to improve this or that part of their profits may come from this scam.

It just shows both Crypto.com and UEFA doesn't care about rating on trustpilot. After all, crypto.com have 4.4 rating on Google Play and 4.6 rating on Apple Store which makes trustpilot appear to be anomaly.
The ratings on Google Play are not good, even the 5 star ratings were for the support team's response to the problems, I see that most of the complaints were related to the app being bad or closing suddenly rather than being a scam. If they increased spending on technical updates, these problems would disappear.

Nevertheless, the rule is really strict. That really limits free speech rights. Now counting towards weekly quota would be more reasonable.
Due to the different gambling regulations, some countries have strict policies with online gambling, other countries require KYC, and others see the need for gambling to be under the supervision of the treasury authorities and not Olanen because it is one of the main sources of money laundering.

all investors are panicking about the price of altcoins and now we see the price of altcoins is falling even bitcoin is also experiencing a continuous decline. What is the cause of the crypto price dropping like this?
The gainers-losers indicator shows a number of 6:32 cryptocurrencies and a decline rate of about 10% at its maximum, while 6% is the best performance.
https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/
These data do not indicate that the market is witnessing a correction, but rather one of the normal days of a bear market with low trading.

But recently United States government transferred the silk road $560 million worth of bitcoin to Coinbase.
With daily trading of $31 billion, this $560 million will lead to a decrease in the price of less than 10%, and panic may cause it to deepen to 15% or 20%. They have not sold yet, and if they sell, the price is still shocking with strong support levels.

Hey everyone, I'm still trying to process the Twitter Space hosted by Elon and Trump - I thought for sure it would bring a wave of green to the market, but so far, that hasn't happened.
Unless there is a bold statement, such as despite Trump or Elon Musk buying Bitcoin, or promises of more tolerant laws regarding cryptocurrencies, the interview will not have any impact on the price, and even the impact I am talking about will be temporary.
