Why is bitcoin price raising and Altcoin droping

Bitcoin price should influence altcoin prices. And it was proven till now. I saw many altcoins increased after Bitcoin could reach its new highest value this year. I monitored the improvement for weeks and even months. But when the Bitcoin increased, it sometimes didn't bring influences to altcoin's values directly. It needs time to show the impacts.

Ignore stable coins like USDT. They don't depend on Bitcoin.

in my opinion the cause of altcoin dropped when the price of bitcoin rose was that everyone competing to convert their altcoins to bitcoin had finally decreased. besides that altcoin is preparing for the next increase and making price corrections.

You cant rely on btc alone. Altcoin must have their strenght based on their project performance not a riding scheme on btc dominance. Yes btc rises and sometime altcoins also gain to it but not all the time. There are some cases that some people dump altcoin to purchase btc. This is why pairing with btc on exchange is also at disadvantage for some major altcoins. Why?  were almost near the bull run and people wanna buy btc. Where do you think they can get it? From dumping altcoins right. Which is why some altcoins dumped hard.

most of the time,  When Bitcoin raise, A lot of daily traders do sell the alts they got in-order to buy again in lees price or to go to Fiat.

but be careful, this scenario will not last,  when Alts will raise you will not notice, one day you going to wake up and see the alts  season started.

Bitcoin is in huge demand as we all know bitcoin was dropping continuously last year now bitcoin is booming. Generally When bitcoin rises I noticed altcoins drops in satoshi value but gaining in USD value. Even stability of bitcoin helps to increase the altcoins value.
