[nofollow]Sevilla vs Huesca – 1×2 & Total – Sevilla & Over 1.5 @ 1.88Caelum
Sevilla have been one of the big movers up the table in the La Liga this season. Challenging for top 3 alongside the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, they have been a joy to watch on the back of their historic Europa League title. They face bottom of the table Huesca who desperately need a win to have any chance of staying in the top flight past this season. The cellar-dwellers have brought about the odd surprise this season, with a few wins and a lot of draws. We feel Sevilla will be far too strong and although winning to nil is likely (2.32), play it safe and back Sevilla to win with at least two goals. 1 unit.
Arsenal vs Leeds United – 1×2 – Leeds @ 4.10Domh
Tenth placed Leeds face travel to London to face Arsenal, sitting just one point behind them in eleventh. Bielsa’s side go into this one in good form, having won three of the last four with their only defeat coming in a 2-1 defeat to Everton. Based on their strong performance against Arsenal last time out, we’re confident Leeds will have their tails up against an Arsenal side who seems a little out of sorts at the moment. With a strong win and clean sheet in their last Premier League match, we see Leeds heading back to Yorkshire with a monumental 3 points. 1 unit.
VFL Wolfsburg vs Borussia Mochengladbach – 1×2 – Wolfsburg @ 2.43CBod
A club record four straight Bundesliga clean-sheets (winning all four), has propelled Wolfsburg into 3rd place and the Champions League qualification drivers seat. Whilst their defensive form is more recent, they’ve been solid at home all season (W9, D3). The historical head-to-head looks good too when hosting Mönchengladbach (7th in the league) who’ve not won at the Volkswagen Arena since 2003. Their main goalscorer Wout Weghorst, the T-3 Bundesliga top scorer, is firing all cylinders, scoring in three straight competitive games, and five in the last six. On the other side you have Gladbach’s away form, which has been poor all season with just three wins in nine games away games, and one win in the last five of those. Although during these five matches they’re not getting rolled over (D4, L1), scoring nine goals, which is why the 1×2 prices are suggesting a tight-affair. However, too much respect is being given to Gladbach considering all the points above, plus their home loss to lowly FC Koln last time out (6th Feb). I think the 2.43 is very good value. 2 unit.
Barnsley vs Chelsea – Chelsea to win to nil @ 1.99Jarrod
The Tuchel era has begun, and with a late season title charge unimaginable, the German may look at the FA Cup as a chance for some early managerial silverware. These two teams didn’t play for 12 years, with 2008 their last meeting before clashing in the League Cup late last year, where Chelsea were comfortable 6-0 winners. This clash may have been under Frank Lampard, but it is important to note that Chelsea have conceded just the one goal in the four matches under Tuchel, with that goal being an Antonio Rudiger own goal that you would see once in every 100 games. It was an absolute brain fade that relinquished a clean sheet that you could say Chelsea were good for against Sheffield United. Barnsley on the other hand have only scored three in their last five, earning just the two points. They are now closer to relegation than they are the promotion places, and are on the slide. They have bigger fish to fry than the FA Cup, no doubt about it. We may not see Chelsea replicate their 6-0 win from 2020, but we can see them accounting for Barnsley fairly comfortably. 1 unit.
Portland Trail Blazers vs Philadelphia 76ers – Philadelphia 76ers & Over 229.5 @ 2.70David
Their last meeting saw the Blazers defeat the 76ers even with six players sidelined including their star player Damian Lillard while the 76ers was missing Ben Simmons. Their next bout will see Portland’s #2, CJ McCollum, and Jusuf Nurkic missing the game which will be a huge blow to the Blazer’s offensive options. I expect the 76ers to take the W this time considering they have the more complete lineup and they’ve been playing so well this season. Backing the overs may seem like a bad idea considering the 76ers are among the top defensive teams this season and the Blazers are missing a few pieces, but when two very competitive players like Damian Lillard and Joel Embiid step on the court, we’re bound to see them trying to outdo each other which could lead to a high scoring game. 1 unit.
Manchester City FC vs. Tottenham Hotspur FC – Tottenham Hotspur Clean Sheet @ 9.00PontiacBandit
Pep Guardiola vs. Jose Mourinho. The two have met 24 times before The Berties host The Lilywhites at the weekend. Guardiola has won 11, Mourinho has won 7, and they have shared the spoils 6 times. Neither has faced a rival manager more often. Harry Kane is back in business, and City are in astonishing form, so this could be a firecracker. However, Jose and his men will be more intent than ever on shutting their opponents down, for several reasons. 1. Tottenham are struggling in the league, and are very keen to climb back up to the top. 2. Killing Manchester City’s blistering run would be a huge statement. 3. Jose > Pep, according to Jose. Look for Spurs to press hard, hustle, and defend like their lives and spot in the team depend on it. It’s hard to see past a Tottenham result here, even if it turns out to be 0-0. We know Jose would be happy with that.
