I am not sure about the position of the government in crypto space. Some governments may be really want to join the crypto space, but others may still doubt it. We cannot force the government in this matter, they have some considerations to join or not. Like our government, the may be hard to join because of no advantage for now.

The government is interested in controlling its citizens, and bitcoin cannot provide such control due to its decentralization. Therefore, it is easier for the government to create its own national digital currency, which will be centralized.

The relationship between Bitcoin and the government is something special but it needs more effort to make it legal. As we know that many governments still do not legalize the existence of BTC. They are afraid that BTC may replace the fiat. But it is so glad to know right now because much government concern about this crypto world

Bitcoin and government completely two opposite factors in cryptocurrency market, some bitcoin friendly government support bitcoin Canada, Australia, India Japan and Estonia.

In my prediction,, the government will cease threats . The government should accept bitcoin technology and use it for their fiat money. I see many government worried about it. Bitcoin is the future, I think no one can refuse the technology.
