One common liquidity mathematics, pump in price, with low volume =?

Gentle and ladies, all crypto enthusiast, I have seen with dismayed a common market situation where prices of certain coin/token on few exchanges will experience a huge pump in prices with very low volume. It gives me a lot of concern that after my research on this issue, I concluded that a coin/token cannot pump without a corresponding volume, and if this continues, it becomes a manipulation by any of the exchanges that list these coin/token.
Do you think my conclusions correct?  Thanks

Small-cap tokens are more susceptible to manipulation, and usually as soon as they get the attention of the media, whales or sharks generate waves, blow prices, and profit from the Inexperienced participants. Sushi is one of those projects, sadly the bad guy in this story is the founder of the project.
Of course, this also happens with large-cap tokens like BTC, perhaps only stable coin is out of the game.

Don't be blinded for huge offerings you may receive once you invested to that particular coin without trading volume. There are fake coins with fake details provided. Better to be aware than excited. There are real tokens in the market. Normally, those tokens will pump because of buy and sell trading which is continueslly happening. somehow, big whales play the game of dump and pump. Be cautious.

You are right. How good the token or coin, without a good volume it will never pumped. Thats how trader view the market and it all depends on the volume. I always checling the marketcap of each tokens Ive trade and see whether the tokens have room for improvement based on price.

I think you are right, it is a possible manipulation from mainly small-cap token. It is very obvious that price increase must correspond with volume (good liquid)
to effectively enhance trading activities.
