Plagiarism is a real problem in the forum with many members thinking they can copy & paste the words of others.


If you have received a Strike or Penalty for plagiarism:

• You can appeal for this strike to be removed with the exchange of positive karma or points
• You cannot appeal this strike if you have negative karma. Please read resetting negative karma.

What are the penalties for plagiarism?

the penalty will range from:
100-100,000 points reduction
1 to 4 ranks demotion
1 to 100 negative karma

Can I pay to have my strike or penalty removed?

• Removing plagia strike: You lose half your points and you need to burn 5 ALTS or 5$ worth of ALTT.
• Removing plagia penalty: You lose all your points and you need to burn 10 ALTS or 10$ worth of ALTT

Make sure you content is unique:
